I love the web, mobile and desktop apps for this. It's reduced my need to make notes during a meeting, because I can get them afterwards. I tried several other meeting minute apps before, but this one is the best for different accents. Pros I find their audio to text transcripts to be quite accurate, especially with a variety of accents and Maori words and placenames. It's not perfect, but better than most that I have seen. Cons The meeting summary AI is rarely appropriate for my context (which is not in the USA) so I end up putting it into my company copilot, which holds more context and provides a more relevant summary, notes, actions, etc. Review Source AO Alba O. I like the overall look and feel of the dashboard too. It's easy to navigate and sort through your past meetings. Cons I feel like the integration with outlook is kind of meh. I also wish the meeting summaries that you can just copy/paste were formatted a little nicer. Like maybe some color, underlines, highlights on super important parts, etc. I usually run it through ChatGPT after i copy it, to make it look nicer before sending it to colleagues. Cons No clear tutorial on accessing all these powerful features. It would be great if there was a place where I can learn all these things. I really do, I even started spreading the news about how great it is, cause before Fireflies I couldn't find the proper translation tool: audio to text Pros As a researcher I used to spend hours rewatching the video, taking notes, coping and pasting - now I have \[sensitive content hidden\]. And the translation quality is great! Cons Some words are mistaken in my language (PL), but I guess that's all. At the beginnig I wasn't sure if it will join all the meetings I want. Pros It is very easy to use Fireflies.ai once you get the hang of things. Meeting summaries are precise in most cases. Cons Summaries can be a little more elaborate so as to capture the full meeting and the essence. Also when speaking in different languages than English it sometimes doesn't summarize the points correctly. Regarding the capturing of meetings sometimes the agent drops off in the middle of the call, also it should know when the meeting is ended so that it can close the transcription.
