It has become an essential part of my day-to-day work and I now depend on it to keep track of meetings, decisions and follow-ups. I feel more focused during calls because I don’t have to worry about taking detailed notes, and I can trust Fireflies to capture everything. It’s a practical, reliable tool that genuinely saves me time every week and helps me be more organized and professional with my team and clients. I’m very satisfied and I plan to keep using it long term. Pros I love how easy Fireflies makes it to stay on top of my meetings. I use it every day and it has become a must-have in my workflow. It joins my calls automatically, records everything and gives me clear, structured notes without me having to do anything. The AI-generated summaries and action items save me a lot of time after each meeting. I can quickly review key decisions, tasks and deadlines instead of re-watching the whole call. I also like how searchable everything is – I can go back to old meetings, search by keywords and instantly find the exact moment in the transcript. The ability to have live meeting notes and transcriptions almost instantly has made working 1000% easier. The key takeaways and the meeting summary has been most beneficial in communication with external partners. The transcriptions have allowed us to pull quotes as needed to help solidify our hypothesis. Pros Fireflies is the best AI notetaker and transcriber we've ever used. It is very easy to get started and invite him to our meetings. The quality of the meeting summary is excellent. We love that Fred sends us a wrap-up of all our meetings that week, including tasks and takeaways for the team. The transcription is good too. We love that it takes minutes, not hours or days, as it has in the past, using different software and companies. Fireflies has truly made our lives better. The Topic Trackers are also a great addition to other AI note takers and we've found them to be very beneficial to our work. Cons I find it takes a little work to understand exactly how it is used at its best. There are a number of settings that we had to learn the hard way from like, if you have the setting to be added to all your meetings in your calendar, Fireflies will auto-ride (not a bad thing in my opinion, but clients didn't like it), other AI notetakers. Pros I love how intuitive the tool is regarding the important things in meetings.I asked it to do a detailed overview, and there were things that Fred (their AI) generated that greatly increased the quality of post-meeting communications with my students. I started using it to generate mini-guides for each week's training and my students love the guides. Cons After the 5th use case, it started doing weird markup that didn't translate well to Google. Not their fault, but I was thankful to have a detailed meeting overview. I like that I get an unlimited number of uploads, and that if ever I were to downgrade to the free version, my uploads would not be lost. I have also had a good experience with customer support every time I have needed them. Finally, I have compared this service to others and I have found Fireflies to be the best at detecting the right person and it is also the most accurate. I also have a lot of learning from the transcript and AI suggestions around the question i have put during my calls with customers, clients, teams etc. It is secured and has a great value for money. The call quality and features are advanced and helps to go back to the recordings and hear one more time if you have missed out on any important moment. Summaries are great, transcripts help me review details if needed, and i have sent the notes to others who forgot to take notes or were worried they missed something important. Very little editing required. Pros I find fireflies to be very helpful as a chair of a board and a member of many groups i attend meetings with. It shows up and takes good notes whether i am present or not which is good because i sometimes double book or am busy with urgent matters, i have asked organizations i volunteer for to allow my fireflies to take notes and attend on my behalf so i can stay up to date and informed, and they have agreed. The summaries are good enough to provide content for minutes i only need to make minor edits to if at all. The service has improved over the year and a half i have been using it, I started out with a free account then decided it was worth getting a paid account because it was so helpful, saving me time, allowing me to focus on the process and conversation without distraction of note taking. November 10, 2025 5.0 Today, I had a troubleshooting incident where the meeting notes from a meeting were not processed. The stakes were high; it was for a client during a discovery call. I didn't take any other notes because I had fireflies. The notes didn't process, and I immediately thought I was cooked. I don't have a lot of faith in customer service for SaaS companies, but this team handled my needs within five minutes of my request. I am so appreciative. Pros I appreciate how durable the product is and how it seamlessly integrates into my workflows and tech stacks on Notion. It allows me to stay fully engaged in my meetings, and I receive a summary of key takeaways right afterward. Cons I wish there were a Discord integration. I use that product for internal team communications like I do with Slack, but it doesn't connect to Discord, so we use Google Meets plus Discord for text-based communications. If you integrated with Discord, it would make my tech stack even more streamlined. If clients explains a project, we often watch the meeting again to hear even more details. It is great for onboarding people on a running project. They can listen to several meetings. I often send client the meeting minutes immediately after the meeting, they are awesome. And now it is also easy that FireFlies supports many different spoken languages. Pros Easy integration with all the different kinds of online meeting tools. So we can use it easily with all our different clients. With the strong search tools we can also find items we mentioned or agreed in very old meetings, which is very helpful. Cons At some point Fireflies entered all kinds of meetings in my calendar which I didn't attend and which should not be recorded. I received some complaints about it. Pros As an product leader I want to alsways keep your finger on the pulse regarding operational activity however this can sometimes feel like micromanagement and take significant amount of time to dive into a lot of details and Fireflies allows me to focus on agenda and high-level overview of initiatives, Fireflies manages the rest — keeping track of actions for each of the call participants, keeps it in memory and even reminds me of activities priopr to meetings. It is great in summarizing meetings, it is multilanguage and easy to configure from the platform itself. It also allows to integrate many services like Slack, task management suites, calendar, your inbox – you name it. Cons As LLM's may make mistakes there's still a chance to face an error in interpretation of different interactions which doesn't necessarily occur in my experience in using Fireflies however it should also be a routine to proffread the meeting outcomes yourself before firing them as action items on your colleagues. Pros This is a great program for taking notes, I like it that it does not record everything that was said at a meeting, but notes. Works great at our board meeting I am also surprised that it almost always gets the person who is talk correctly and only takes a little work to correct any mistakes....alway minor Cons takes notes at every event I am invited to, I do not have very much negative to say, I think the price is fair. Cons One downside is that the transcription is not always perfectly accurate, especially when there are multiple speakers, accents, background noise, or technical terms. I have transcribed hundreds and hundreds of meetings. I also transcribe webinars so that I can import the data into LLMs Pros Fireflies is more useful than other meeting transcription services because it can be used to record in-person meetings in addition to online. I don't think any other service offers that. The transcriptions are very accurate and the summaries are good. Cons When recording a meeting in which Fireflies is not invited to the meeting, it lists speakers as "Speaker 1," "Speaker 2" etc. Usually I go in and enter the speaker's names manually. But it is certainly much, much easier than that and the ratio of 'added value' to 'maintenance burden' is high enough for me to think this application is pretty good. Pros Most of it is pretty convenient — inviting it to meetings either automatically or manually; correcting wrong transcriptions; storing, indexing and searching the contents of sessions. I also really like the robust features: automatic summaries (which can generated in various optional formats/styles/templates) and transcripts downloadable in various forms (e.g., PDF). Cons Sometimes tasks related to including Fireflies in a given meeting and/or kicking it off of a meeting can be confusing. (For example, the button that says "Invite" at the upper-right of the desktop web-app screen \*looks\* like it's the button for inviting Fireflies to a meeting, but instead it's to invite other people to the platform. Whereas the button I'm actually looking for is the 'Capture' button and I think the fact that these two buttons are right next to each other creates confusing/irritation, particularly when I'm in a meeting and want to quickly get Fireflies into the meeting with minimal hassle/frustration. I use it mostly to transcribe meetings, masterminds, individual coaching and podcast episodes. The most important part are the coaching and mastermind. I use those to reflect on what I did well or poorly. I've gotten better much faster because of this. Cons There used to be a feature that analyzed talk time, emotional sentiment on a call, number of questions etc. I miss that feature.
