Cons Product update suggestion: it would be helpful to get the high-level notes that's emailed after the meeting available in the UI. Customer service is good/adequate. Pros It does a great job transcribing. It seems to get 90%+ of everything that's important in meetings in a group setting. Daily Stand-ups is what I use it for. It may not get the names right all the time, but very VERY close, and maybe a few find/replaces or manual updates. But the content... the content is nearly perfect and thats really all that matters. I'm surprised, and impressed. I've also tried a handful of others and Fireflies is hands down better. And by better by a long shot. I like the fact it can process HOURS of consecutive audio, and not just an hour or two, and also not plagued by and file size limitations. What a joke for other softwares to even have such ridiculous limitations!!.... but not Fireflies. Fireflies is a VERY logical and useful and accurate software. I love it. I also already recommended it to 5 different people. Cons Not really much of anything to not like, however the find and replace could be expanded to be a more permanent basis. For example it always seems to get one persons name wrong, and I have to always change it. I wish it would have a global setting to where anytime it detects the same person, it may do a cross reference check or something or keep that persons name as a suggestion to use for the actual real name. But this is not that bad of an issue. It consistently saves me time, improves my meeting workflow, and allows me to stay fully engaged in conversations. I would highly recommend it Pros Fireflies.ai has significantly improved how I run and participate in meetings. It saves me hours of note-taking and follow-ups, and more importantly, it allows me to be fully engaged and present during conversations. The summaries and transcripts are accurate and easy to reference later, making my work more efficient overall. Cons One area for improvement would be the ability to edit transcripts and summaries directly within the platform. Adding this feature would enhance an otherwise great experience. So easy to use with both Teams and Zoom and the accuracy was beyond my expectations. I rely on the summaries it produces which are done as I would have summarised a meeting. Voice/speaker recognition is great too. I compared Fireflies to three other products and on paper it was slightly ahead however when i cam to trial them - it was much further ahead. If the free tier were slightly more generous, it would be the perfect entry-level tool for any professional. Pros I’ve been using Fireflies recently and wanted to share some positive feedback. As a recruiter running many meetings, Fireflies saves me around 70% of the time I used to spend on note-taking. The notes are excellent and the summaries are spot on. Everything I actually need after a meeting is already there. Cons Occasionally, the transcription may miss context or small nuances, especially with accents or mixed languages. When I analyze the meeting with AI, it pretty much reproduces everything the way we discussed it. This is a significant part of my AI stack. I use it to combine create project files for Claude, ChatGPT and NotebookLM, when matched with other documents it really helps bolster context for work I do in AI. Pros This is a fantastic app. I can focus on my clients and actively listen, knowing the notes are being taken form me. This allows me to engage with people and give them my full attention. I use the web app, IOS and apple watch apps and they integrate well together. Cons The transcription is generally very good, but it can attribute statements to the wrong speaker when there are multiple speakers on a call or in a meeting. If two speakers are on the same line on a teams or zoom call, it may not realize it and it does not always allow you to add another person to the transcript. It doesn't happen often and doesn't change the note taking feature effectiveness. If you want a 100% accurate transcript, you may need to download the transcript to word and make the changes manually. This could be improved. Review Source Kevin S. I find fireflies easier to use than fathom and less expensive than otter. Is the perfect recorder for me. Pros The transcripts are accurate. It's very easy to use and also very visible so people know they're being recorded. No complaints at all. Cons Fireflies does everything I needed to do while also being very easy to use. I have yet to find anything I do not like about it. It pops up all the time. It also had a more difficult learning curve, which I don't need to take courses to learn any more products. This is supposed to be easy and fireflies is easy. What makes it really useful is the summary. It pulls out the key points and actions so you can see what mattered without reading the whole transcript. It saves time, reduces mistakes, and gives you a clear record of every call. My favorite tool is AskFred and I am enjoying the new multi-language feature, hoping this becomes a standard as I specifically have English and Spanish conversations within the same conference. Wondering if there's a way to set up specific words so that FF understands them as commands (i.e. "I need to make a note of that" = Make a note of it to later display in summary, "This should be a task" = Make a task and assign it accordingly, etc.) Pros Love the platform, has been improving consistently. AskFred feature is amazing and only keeps getting better. Cons At first sight the UI isn't as polished as Otter, but it does the job really well. I couldn't complain much about it. For the amount of meetings I have the Pro plan has generous storage capacity for recordings and transcriptions. Pros Very simple to setup and install. Connects to all the applications that I need it to (Notion, CRM, browser extension). AI summaries are generally highly accurate so I know I can focus on the meeting and issues at hand. Cons Two things come to mind: 1. I can't connect multiple email accounts, so Fireflies doesn't know to join automatically. Inviting the notetaker to a Google Meet meeting via the Chrome extension is possible, but then it makes it obvious that you're using an AI notetaker since the group is alerted that Fireflies is trying to join the meeting. 2. Sometimes it's hard to get Fireflies out of the meeting when you are not the meeting owner but it has joined automatically. You can remove it, but from time to time it's difficult to remove or takes a minute or two to remember how to remove and makes it awkward when someone requests you remove it.
