Pros The recordings and transcripts do really well, but I mostly love the open developer experience Fireflies allows by providing a webhook to send the transcripts to a custom API of ours to perform further AI and workflow actions in our internal business processes. Cons I don't love that if multiple people from the same company have a firefly recorder we get several duplicates - I would like it to know to only invite one and share amongst the group. Also, I'd like the fireflies agent to not appear as a user, but just an indicator that it is recording on the meeting. If I worked in a busy team in a bigger business it would be way more useful, as it is, it isn't a day-to-day essential because I'm only doing 1-2 interviews or meetings a week max. that I really need it for. Pros My go-to for meeting recording and now I use it for transcribing lots of types of recordings, voicenotes etc.. Transcription is very accurate, meeting notes are genuinely helpful. Cons Could be more affordable. As a solopreneur and small business every £ counts and I find myself pausing the subscription when I don't need comprehensive transcription i.e. unless I'm going to be referring back to specific quotes and need word-for-word records. Also recently I've found the settings sometimes revert back to defaults so that it starts adding itself to all meetings by default. Review Source César T. It is now the official tool for almost all of my online meetings. Pros The interface is user-friendly and intuitive. It recognizes various accents and languages, which is great for my work with international English- and Spanish-speaking clients. The AI assistant is very useful for getting me up to speed mid-presentation or answering questions as they come up. It also includes an upload feature, so I can record my meetings and upload the audio later. Cons It’s a bit pricey compared to other transcription services, especially for organizations with many members, but it’s much more useful overall. It is very useful to have Fireflies do the note taking while I listen because meetings require a lot of concentration with the number of people speaking and the various accents. The summary is extremely helpful. I've used Fireflies for other meetings not related to the UN and the action steps have helped move projects forward Pros I like the summary and the actions steps that are assigned to each person. The summary helps give the overview and the assigned action items are very helpful in letting everyone know what needs to be done next. Cons I don't have any thing that I dislike.
