It shows us which customers have been researching vehicles on our website, or when their warranty is close to expiration, making them excellent in-market candidates for an upgrade. Cons With the current inventory shortages, the software is still trying to upgrade customers into vehicles that could be 6+ months away from availability on the lot. There needs to be a disclaimer that a factory order could be required for an upgrade. In our individual situation, we need more tech-savvy sales consultants to maximize our return on investment. I am able to quickly and easily filter our customer database in order to communicate with them most efficiently. Pros I have been so impressed with the AutoAlert program. With it, my salesmen and I can keep detailed communication records simply and easily. We can avoid over-contacting customers. We are able to send on demand emails to extremely specific groups. Cons I have not yet had any difficulties while sing the AutoAlert software, in spite of using it daily to contact customers. Pros It removes the excuses: customers are categorized and made actionable to sales staff, so it is simply a matter of putting in the effort to make the data worthwhile. Cons AlertMiner is expensive when compared to the often free use of CRM data mining. Also, I really wish their email builder was a lot better; it is extremely limited and frustrating.
