It is easy to use. I only needed assistance once and found their support to be wonderful. I have no complaints. Pros There is so much I like about Tremendous! It was easy to setup and is easy to maintain and use. We pay almost nothing to use it and, if we chose to pay another way, we could avoid fees altogether. We were able to create a template with customizations which is saved and can be quickly and easily selected for reuse in the future. Our employees LOVE receiving the Tremendous credit as it can be used for almost any retailer or can be donated to charity. This also takes the work off of us as we don't need to stress or run around town getting a reward our employees will like. It's an all around great product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low-cost reward program! Cons There is almost nothing I dislike about Tremendous. If I had to come up with something, it would be the 3% Credit Card transaction fee. This is the only fee we pay for using Tremendous and it could be avoided if we chose to purchase via Purchase Order. Reason for choosing Tremendous Honestly, I can't remember the names of the other similar companies I considered. However, I can say that Tremendous stood out over the rest as there were no minimum usage requirements and (almost) no fees. We ask our customers to send us feedback, complete surveys, leave reviews, etc. It's a big ask for a busy customer to take 10-20 minutes out of their day to help us. We find that with a small gift card, we can show the customer how much we appreciate them. But also - we can incentivize their behavior and get a higher response rate. Feedback is so important to our product-led growth company, and by sending a gift card via Tremendous, we can thank our customers and get more quality responses. The major challenge they are resolving for us is how to collaborate with and compensate individuals in the most remote regions of the world without encountering any logistical or legal problems. They provide gift cards to approximately 220 nations, if I'm not mistaken. I had no idea there were 220 nations in the world. The scope of their influence is that. The option to get incentives in the form of an actual Visa card is an additional bonus. Even if this isn't offered everywhere, it's still a fantastic choice. Pros We have enjoyed using the Tremendous platform for its use of ease and ease of rollout to our administration teams. Sending gift cards to multiple Recipients is very easy and user friendly. The ability to download and upload CSV files is extremely handy for my work where i would have to send out to 20 gift cards to different Recipients. The CSV files make this very easy. I have had no issues with the system timing out. The Website is always extremely fast on my laptop which is great for my work where i need to send out gift cards to our clients quickly and efficiently. This system was extremely easy to learn! I have never used a system before which took me no time at all to learn the basics thit quickly. The layout of Tremendous is very eye-catching and Pretty. The cancel a gift card was extremely easy to use although it is understandable that it is final. I really like that we receive email notifications for every order which i have manually triggered as it allows me to keep a separate record in my emails and to keep track of how many gift cards i send. I have yet to hear from clients who have issues when receiving these gift cards (not working etc) which helps to enhance our client experience. Cons I think my main issue with tremendous would be the support function. Compared to other products the support function just an email. I think the ability to maybe have a call support would be helpful as for some issues it would be necessary to call the tremendous support staff instead of emailing. When canceling a gift card i did not like the fact that we do not get a notification or an email that the money has been transferred back into the account. I think this would be very useful to have. It is really important to us to have international capabilities and having that option included within a campaign instead of having to send them separately was a game changer. Adding our branding to campaigns was incredibly easy. So nice to have options to carry out actions in bulk by CSV as well. I haven't had to use customer support as I've always been able to find answers in the help guides. Cons Haven't had any complaints yet. January 5, 2021 5.0 Tremendous is a huge improvement over our previous vendor for everyone on both sides of the gift card process. The set-up and training were easy. We get great customer support. We are getting better redemption rates and less complaints than with our previous vendor. The platform is so easy that my entire team is now enabled to order gift cards for themselves and do not have to go through an admin. Pros Tremendous is easy to use from both the perspective of the person ordering the gift cards and the recipient. There is no cost or fees to use Tremendous. You can make great looking custom emails with as many mail merge fields as you would like to easily send custom emails to many recipients at once. You can also add other actions like redirecting to a web page or video after the recipient claims. There are tons of gift card options and you can even limit them to a few options to fit your campaign. Finally, the best thing about Tremendous is that they can collect W9 tax info from your recipients that received large denomination cards so that you can easily issue 1099s at the end of the year. Cons There are few things that I really dislike about this platform. In fact several enhancements that I asked for or suggested were built and implemented in just the first few months of working with them! One dislike is that the recipients gift cards links are susceptible to theft if the email is compromised in some way and ends up in the wrong hands. The API in general is brilliant and fit our needs perfectly - we need to send out gift cards at scale and on demand, 24/7. If we didn't have Tremendous, we'd likely have to pay another service for this. After extensive research, we picked tremendous as they simply had the best offering and the pricing was great too. They also had a great selection of gift card partners and the fact it can all be automated via an API is fantastic. Highly recommend. It is very useful that we can export CSV reports as needed. The coverage of gift cards in different countries is excellent too. We required UK & Ireland gift cards and I didn't expect them to have such a breadth of gift card offerings/brands as they have. Cons We know when a reward has been delivered to a user but we would like to see if/when the email was opened and what reward was chosen. It would also be nice if we could specific which gift card to send to the customer, rather than letting them choose (this might be possible with multiple custom templates, but that's a bit more work). The gifts can be physical cards or digital, which can be sent and redeemed nearly instantly, even through SMS. The templates are fully customizable and there is very little setup needed to start using the product. Having a large number of team members abroad used to be a blocker to sending thoughtful gifts, but Tremendous solves that problem. We also used Tremendous for customer engagement rewards. Albeit one of the first payout products I have ever used, I have had a seamless experience paying out research respondents. The flexibility of payment options is excellent, and the ability to track spending, upload email addresses, create templates, and customize your branding is truly beneficial for the team. The learning curve is generally really low - I was able to get up to speed and learn the platform within 10-15min (incl. respondent payouts, templates, etc.)Overall this is a pretty easy way to pay out your customers, and I think its features go well beyond what I typically use it for. Most likely, for extensive research projects and more complex payouts, I suspect Tremendous would do an awesome job executing the rewards. I also love the ability to customize RGB codes for brands. Cons I don't love the way the campaign feature works. While it is relatively simple, I often had issues with duplicating campaign copy, managing images within campaigns, and ensuring that my organization's pre-built copy was working for new campaigns for different brands I was running. Otherwise, I haven't had issues paying respondents. I would also recommend to Tremendous that they create an FAQ guide to simplify the onboarding process within an organization. I work for a global company and to be able to send egift cards across the globe has been a time and life saver. Tremendous has many vendors they work with to insure a recipient can find a vendor to redeem a gift card. But wait, there's more. An international Visa card can also be redeemed for countries with less vendors to choose from. Checking the catalog beforehand will insure your gift is a success. Tremendous has made my life as an executive assistant so much easier when it comes to gift requests. Pros The ease of sending out rewards and egift cards makes Tremendous worth it's price in gold. Easily sent, easily verified, easily tracked. And the customer service is the best. I receive help and guidance in a timely manner and they have always been clear and concise and extremely helpful. Cons The only drawback sometimes is that a rewards email to the receiver can sometimes be mistaken for spam. But that problem is easily fixed with proper titling of the reward or a pre-email letting the recipient know it's on the way. It has various applications, including marketing rewards, employee bonuses, and more. Personally, I use Tremendous to send payments to participants in my academic research studies. Before using Tremendous, I had to individually send gift cards to participants. This was a tedious process because I had to make sure that I was sending the desired gift card, with the appropriate amount, to the right email. Tremendous has revolutionized and completely simplified this process for me. Now, I simply collect participants' email addresses and copy these emails to Tremendous' rewards template. I then fill in the column for the reward amount. I then upload the template to my account and send out the reward. Simple as that. Tremendous allows you to select just one gift card or as many as you want (they literally have hundreds of gift card options). After you place an order, Tremendous will send individualized emails with a link to gift card recipients. Using the link, the recipient will be able to choose their desired gift card from the options you selected. In addition to the ease of sending bulk gift cards, Tremendous also makes it easy to track which participants have received their email and to resend an email in the case that the participant cannot find the reward email. In all, I highly recommend Tremendous! Cons Sometimes it can be difficult for participants to find their reward email. For example, Gmail usually filters reward emails to the "Updates" tab.
