Pros It's free to use, there are options for most countries/gift cards people are looking for (I don't get a lot of feedback that xyz is missing), the sending is easy and the redemption is easy for the recipient. Cons The PII/GDPR/security isn't great - there was a security breach at Tremendous and there wasn't really a lot they could do to either check our account, assure met, export the contacts who were effected etc. Their only solution was that if someone wanted their data deleted with us, we would have to delete our ENTIRE account and start over. Not ideal. Also, it's kind of sneaky how making a gift card for India (Visa INR) cost an extra $5 for each time it's offered as an option - not just used, but OFFERED. Additionally, the balance doesn't decrease automatically when a reward is approved. Instead it decreases when the reward is requested, which might require keeping a higher balance in the tool. Pros What I like most about Tremendous is that it is incredibly easy to use and meets my needs to pay out honorariums to research participants. I have never run into trouble while using Tremendous. I can easily do what I intend to do using this platform without running into constant errors. These days, it's hard to find a platform that easily performs it's function and saves time - but Tremendous is one such platform. Pros Tremendous makes the process of distributing gifts and prizes to customers extremely convenient, with an excellent assortment of redemption options for recipients around the globe and a customer service team who is ready and willing to help resolve any issues on either the issuing or receiving end of the process. Before landing on Tremendous as our digital prize issuing system, we examined and tested many of their competitors. While they all had similar features, there was simply no platform that could offer the type of package that Tremendous provides for both the customer and gift card recipient. Cons There were some hidden limitations where gift cards could be redeemed based on the value that was not clear when joining the platform. In particular, this meant that if the amount of a gift card is above a certain threshold, it could only be redeemed at a limited number of retailers. This issue required the reissuing of some gift cards to recipients in smaller denominations, so they had a more comprehensive selection of redemption options. While indeed a challenge, the customer service team was delighted to help resolve this issue promptly, which was appreciated. Review Source TGR Tali Greenberg R. As I said above, it has helped save me time by making the process of giving out gift cards to my employees so much quicker, and has saved me the work of tracking them. Pros I enjoy using Tremendous because I give out gift cards to my employees often. Tremendous has made it easier for my employees to receive their gift cards, has given more options for them to choose from, and has saved me the time and effort of going to a store and purchasing a stack of varied gift cards. Also, I no longer have to go through my receipts and turn them in on an expense report because all of the tracking is done on tremendous. Cons Sometimes the gift cards can be confusing to redeem. Another con is that they go to spam. It seems as though everyone eventually figures out each individual redemption process, and I just give them a heads about about the tremendous e-mail going to spam. Review Source NV Nhu V. That saves me so much time in regards to recurring rewards and deliveries. It's so easy to edit, I have maybe 20 different campaigns set up that I am able to use as templates with small tweaks every time. It's been marvelous. Cons Really, it's all been great! I really don't have anything bad to say. The only thing I had - slow processing times - hasn't been an issue at all over the last several months! It's gotten much faster, if not instant. It allows uploading of recipients in CSV format which saves a lot of time and hassle. Making sure everyone gets their rewards is simple, as the product offers good ways of tracking sent rewards. Cons I'd wish that there'd be an option to be invoiced instead of just adding funds to the account beforehand. The interface is super intuitive and sleek, nothing distracting, nothing overwhelming. Cons It would be nice if the list of countries expand as well as the list of charities available and vendors outside the USA. We had a couple of interviewees who wanted to donate their reward sums to support Ukraine. Still, the choice of available international NGOs wasn't good enough: some because of bureaucracies and some because of their outrageous actions (Red Cross, for example, suggested opening a shelter for Ukrainian refugees in a Russian city). My company has a small research team that researches with our B2B customers, and sending rewards through Tremendous gives us more professionalism and legitimacy. I love the ability to add the company logo to brand the rewards. Cons I dislike how you have to create your own unique order number. Cons The processing fee - Amazon gift cards are typically free to purchase for US based gift cards! However, if you pay without a credit card - then there is no processing fee but our company process requires us to use our company cards to pay. Reason for choosing Tremendous Do not need to purchase gift cards from different country websites. Easy workflow with sending multiple gift cards. Do not need to know what country the customer is from to send gift cards.
