I thought they wouldn't be able to scale this thing for very long because I know how much a crawl is pain in the \*\*\*. Regularly checking posts and reading comments and new tool implementations like log file analyzer, which i didn't use yet, I am sure that one will be great tool too. A community grew up around JetOctopus and it seemed to me this Octopus is not going t stop spreading its arms. It gives me a lot of capabilities that I was looking for, and at a very reasonable price. It's currently my cloud-based crawler of choice, and I use it along with Screaming Frog, for the few features that I need and JO doesn't currently offer. Pros I love that all my projects are stored in the cloud and that therer are no limits in how many projects I can create. Also, the numer of urls I can crawl monthly is pretty high compared to most other crawlers in the market. I especially love the huge variety of filters I can apply to the data. and last but not least, the Google Search Console is excellent, one of the best ones I've seen yet in this kind of software. Cons Mostly, the fact that neither your filters nor your columns settings in the data explorer can be saved, so you can later reuse them in other projects. That would save me a lot of time, but I'm still hopeful that they will implement that shortly. If they do, Jet Octopus will almost have no flaws in my opinion. Also, I would like to be able to easily export a CSV with all inlinks to internal 404 or 3xx codes, like Screaming Frog does. In my experience, everytime you play with the links data table, the software is not very responsive.
