This system is my go to GPS Tracking System. Pros One Step GPS has the easiest history search in the reporting system that allows you to bring up reports and data that you need for on or many vehicles in your fleet by key points you are seeking out which makes the system so advanced especially for anyone that has a fleet of 4 or more vehicle this makes it easy to manage track and keep an close eye. The setup and maintenance of this software and equipment is super easy to set up in any vehicle you need to and even change out into other vehicles as needed. The software allows you to custom name each device and or vehicle in the platform which makes it easier to identify each tracking unit. The app and web version of the software allows you to monitor from your desk or on the go which no restrictions to either version. Cons Customer service is not the fastest or the best to respond but when they do the issue is resolved. The speed of the support needs improvement but overall it has good support. Pros Cost effective, ease of use, and support - they are always available and can help with any unique issue or request you come up with! Super easy to swap devices between units, order/deactivate them as the fleet grows/shrinks. Reporting is effective and easy enough to use. Cons The interface can be a little laggy/buggy sometimes - often fixed by reloading the page, but sometimes icons won't display on the correct spot on the map, video stream previews are inaccurate. Not the biggest deal and does not make it unusable. I used to use Geo Tab and that service was not great at all, One step has certainly been a huge improvement. Pros Real time tracking is great, I love being able to see my drivers at all time as well as their speed. I love being able to see if they break hard or take a corner to hard. being able to see how long they stop and where is a great feature for me. Cons Theres not too many cons to One step. All the features work good and are very helpful to me. The physical devises would frequently stop working and need to be reset, this would often happen while I had a driver on the road, and I would no longer be able to see their location. The cost is about the same as the competitor but the actual GPS service is vastly superior and always reliable. Also, OneStep GPS gives us a TON of customizable features for our trackers (geofencing, notification customizations, user restrictions, and so much more). Pros Reliable real-time tracking and long lasting battery! Cons Cost per device is a bit high. Would like to see a tiered package option based on how many devices a company requires. I always know where my fleet vehicles are, as well as how long they are there, and if my drivers are "ahem" doing what they are supposed to be doing! I know my equipment is safe, and I dont have to remember when we had oil changes last. Plus I love the fact that I can send my teams short msgs. Cons Honestly, I haven't found a downside. In the beginning we had a few units that stopped working and had to be replaced, but since that time they have been perfectly with no issues.
