Pros The possibility of contacting my users via whatsapp and sending multiple message templates directly from intercom. Also, it is not possible to write a message outside the templates, it is good to control the messages that are sent. Cons It was really complicated to set up. Many steps, comings and goings to achieve this, in fact it was necessary to extend the free trial to test the effectiveness of the platform. Reasons for choosing Octopods To be honest, octopods was the only solution, that I remember, that appeared when I looked for options in the intercom app store to communicate via WhatsApp with users. There were a few problems I run into in the setup process as well as later down the road. They hopped on a video call with me and had things up and running in no time. Not to mention that they talked with me briefly about other software that could be helpful to our organization— feels like a group of people who truly want to help you succeed. 👏 Cons Octopods solves a very specific problem— bringing third-party messaging into Intercom. It does that very well. That being said, the price tag does feel a little high. But when you need this functionality, Octopods can deliver it for you.
