The overall experience has been good, the support team has been attentive and empathetic to my needs, which has allowed me to take advantage of the platform.

Pros

The possibility of contacting my users via whatsapp and sending multiple message templates directly from intercom. Also, it is not possible to write a message outside the templates, it is good to control the messages that are sent.

Cons

It was really complicated to set up. Many steps, comings and goings to achieve this, in fact it was necessary to extend the free trial to test the effectiveness of the platform.

Reason for choosing Octopods

To be honest, octopods was the only solution, that I remember, that appeared when I looked for options in the intercom app store to communicate via WhatsApp with users.

Great. I had great support when implementing. And it's super helpful having access to the trial so I could test it and try it to discover it's true potential.

Pros

I loved how easy it was to run the integration with Intercom. It's pretty much a native feature on IC and I can get all the reporting within the same source, which is critical for me

Cons

I integrated with WAB, I would have liked you to have features such as bots to handle conversations, not just to transfer them.

Pros

Makes it simple to connect WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram messages to intercom. Has great customer service making it simple to go through WhatsApp business complex on boarding process.

Cons

It may result expensive if you have multiple integrations.

Really positive experience, the support team are great and reply very quickly. Installation was easy and it's been well received for our team.

Pros

Really easy to pick up and install, doesn't require any work from a P&E team. Great information displayed upfront to internal staff and very easy to train. Makes monitoring multiple channels from one inbox, much much easier.

Cons

There could be a few potential enhancements within some of the channels, for example within Facebook, it'd be useful to reply to comments. For Twitter, it'd be really beneficial to filter through key words to the Intercom inbox, such as when the company name is mentioned outside of a DM or mention.

Cost benefit, ease of use and reliable: a good tool to connect your WhatsApp and social media support channel with mainstream Intercom solution

Pros

Ease of setup, integrate and connect Intercom and Twillio WhatsApp Business API to centralize customers support requests in one single tool, optimizing CX/CS representatives interaction

Cons

At the time of the setup we've experienced a bug between Twillio and Octopods integration, which was promptly solved, but was related with BYON (Bring your own number), a feature from Twillio that Octopods was not yet fully "adapted"

We use this tool more then 6 months and it helped us to make our support much better!

Pros

1\. Fast and simple integration messengers with Intercom app (WhatsApp, Telegram) 2. It works like native integration 3. Good price! Saves lots of $$ compared to develop your own connections with Intercom. 4. Easy to identify to find statistic from each channel. Thanks for autotag!

Cons

It\`s pretty hard to chat in Telegram "groups" with more than 4 participants.

Pros

First of all, I would like to mention \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], the support specialist. She is very involved in working with the client and only because of her I was able to complete the connection process. Second point. I have increased my contact customer percentage by 25% with this app.

Cons

Price. Some services are expensive. For example Instagram. Second. The complexity of the first connection, you cannot do without a support team.

Pros

Hands down the best part about using this software was their support team. There were a few problems I run into in the setup process as well as later down the road. They hopped on a video call with me and had things up and running in no time. Not to mention that they talked with me briefly about other software that could be helpful to our organization— feels like a group of people who truly want to help you succeed. 👏

Cons

Octopods solves a very specific problem— bringing third-party messaging into Intercom. It does that very well. That being said, the price tag does feel a little high. But when you need this functionality, Octopods can deliver it for you.

This tool was really helpful for our long-waited integration with Telegram. Implementing was not really hard and integration is working alright as well. Also, support reacts very fast. That's really important for our company!

Pros

The software was the best solution for integration our company really needed. It helped us to contact our clients using Telegram. It also seems pretty stable.

Cons

There appear some errors in the integration sometimes. But the support team is looking into it for now.

Thanks to octopods I can give better attention to my users, since most prefer to solve their doubts by whatsapp and since I have it, I have not had a problem.

Pros

That works perfectly and the customer service, whenever I have had a question, they answer me immediately and they make sure with the best tools (chat, video call) that they actually solves my problem and they do not simply give me an attention ticket.

Cons
