Princial Engineer Computer Software Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "The best for collaboration with people that don't use it generally" August 24, 2020 5.0 It was really easy to collaborate on building out the beginnings of a roleplaying game campaign. It didn't require any accounts and it just needed a link to collaborate. Pros It was super easy to get everyone involved in collaborating. Even my Father who's over 70, although he is quite technically literate, found it easy to use. Cons It's missing the ability to add labels to the connections but I understand that they're adding it soon. Switched from [draw.io](https://www.capterra.com/p/166985/draw-io/) draw.io is much more fully featured but I find it needs a lot more configuration to get it to how I want it. draw.io also doesn't make it as straightforward to collaborate as ryeboard does. I still use draw.io for other purposes but ryeboard is certainly my preferred option for collaborating with others. Review Source PJ Peter J. " August 25, 2020 5.0 My overall expereince has been excellent, and this is why I rapidly stepped up to a yearly subscription – after my trial month I found Ryeboard anchored into my business process, and especially into my strategic business work. I have found customer support excellent, and have been able to discuss ideas with the Developers, who have been highly responsive. Pros As a visual person, I use Ryeboard for all my strategic planning, as well as storing links to valuable websites. I love how I can swap cards around, and also bring in audio files too, if I need to record a brain-storm or idea flow recorded on my phone. With Ryeboard, I now have the flexibility of mind-mapping but with good content storage. I can add my content into a highly structured visual format, one that is also so easy to modify. I love having my texts, charts, visuals and now recordings in one place. I used to work a lot with paper index-cards so I could rearrange my ideas – now I can do this with Ryeboard adding links to wesbites and media. Cons One thing that I would love is the ability to access my boards from my phone. Reason for choosing Ryeboard To be honest, I have not seen any product quite like Ryeboard, I think it is unique. However, the two apps that come closest for noting, clipping websites and moving information around would be Evernote and Simplemind. Whilst I continue to use both, Ryeboard has now become my go too app, and I look forward to future developments of this powerful platform. Review Source EL Ellis L. August 25, 2020 5.0 Pros It’s simple, it’s easy to learn the basics, and—to be quite honest—the free trial offered everything we needed at the time. Of course having the full version makes things a lot simpler but there’s a lot you can do with the trial and a bit of clever thinking. Cons The card system was a little difficult to understand at first, but I think there’s a tutorial for it now, so that point is moot. Any other problems that I had I addressed in a meeting with one of the creators, who assured me there would be steps taken to solve Those issues. Review Source MS Mike S.
