Administrador de sistemas Food Production ### "Base anticuada, parches problemáticos, soporte deficiente." 2.0 Overall Rating 2.0 2.0 Ease of Use 3.0 3.0 Features 3.0 3.0 Customer Service 2.0 2.0 Likelihood to Recommend 3/10 April 12, 2024 Me ha tocado heredar una implementación de todos los productos base CONTPAQi: CONTPAQi Contabilidad / CONTPAQi Bancos, CONTPAQi Nominas, y AdminPAQ (en su momento, ahora CONTPAQi Comercial). Originalmente mi opinión del programa era altamente negativa, sin embargo muchas de las problemáticas presentes fueron problemas de una implementación muy genérica y de poca especialización por parte del proveedor de servicio. Una vez que me encontré desarrollando nuestra propia implementación con el contexto de nuestra operación, el sistema mejoró de manera substancial. Un elemento notable es el hecho de que el sistema únicamente permite operar 2 años al mismo tiempo. Desconozco si esta limitante tiene sustento legal u operativo, sin embargo esto apunta a ser una solución operativa al ser bastante común ver indicios referentes a la necesidad de crear una nueva instancia cada 2 años para evitar este problema. Esto es algo visto en muchos de los sistemas ejemplo, y se tienen herramientas incluidas para facilitar estas migraciones. Una expectativa sería que al ser un programa Mexicano, sería altamente capaz de operar con CFDI de manera excepcional. Sin embargo, parece que mucha de la funcionalidad CFDI no se encuentra definida como parte integral del programa, sino como elementos ancilares que permiten la operación con CFDI. Ciertamente es área operable, pero al ser que la operación no se encuentra inherentemente centrada en torno a CFDI se vuelve fácil tener incongruencias o errores no detectados. El principal motivo por el cual me encuentro buscando una alternativa refiere a los múltiples problemas durante actualizaciones. En múltiples ocasiones se ha realizado actualizaciones (incluyendo ocasiones bajo indicaciones o con aprobación de nuestro proveedor de servicio) que resultan en errores críticos que resultan en paro de operaciones. La existencia de estos errores puede no ser publica o encontrarse escondida solo mencionada de paso en la carta técnica, no se hace ningún esfuerzo proactivo en notificar o advertir sobre estos potenciales problemas. Ha existido al menos una ocasión en donde el aviso de arranque del programa y nuestro proveedor nos recomendaron una actualización importante debido a un cambio próximo referente a nómina, el cual resultó en problemas para trabajar la nómina actual. El proveedor de servicio atendió en deshacer los cambios y actualizar correctamente. Tiempo después, el proveedor de servicio menciona como esa actualización realmente contaba con un error fatal, por lo tanto fue retirada y reemplazada con la versión corregida. Esto significa que fue error de desarrollo, sin embargo toda repercusión fue empujada hacia el cliente. El problema final, ha sido la última actualización anual. Un cambio interno del programa ha causado que nuestras bases de datos de CFDI sean quintuplicadas en su tamaño. Siendo una actualización anual, la licencia de la versión anterior ya había quedado inoperante. Después de mucho diagnostico interno, se nos brindó de la herramienta de solución... la cual no operaba con nuestro sistema debido a una discrepancia menor de configuración. Fue necesario solicitar servicio pagado para que realizaran el mismo diagnostico ya realizado (y altamente tardado, debido a la misma naturaleza del problema y decisiones del programa) para que finalmente se nos brinde la herramienta de solución agnóstica a nuestra configuración. Las indicación posterior es tener mayor precaución referente a los tamaños de nuestras bases, siendo que este problema fue originado en su totalidad por la actualización. Nuestro distribuidor nos menciona que los clientes de volumen cuentan con la versión corporativa del programa de bases de datos para no tener problemas de espacio. Sin embargo, conociendo el rendimiento del programa con su naturaleza mononuclear y diseño que no permite uso en redes de área amplia, no tengo confianza en que el sistema fuera a verse beneficiado por un aumento en rendimiento del manejador de BD cuando la limitante de rendimiento permanecería siendo CONTPAQi, mismo programa que se encuentra rezagado en el pasado y por diseño pide que se manejen múltiples DBs divididas en 2 años cada una. Debido a estos problemas de rendimiento, actualizaciones que resultan en paros de trabajo, y falta de responsabilidad en admitir sus errores y ser proactivos en soluciones y comunicación referente, no me es posible recomendar cualquier producto de CONTPAQi para cualquier cliente que fuera a utilizar cualquier tipo de volumen significativo. Pros A grandes rasgos, fácil de implementar y configurar con conocimiento previo del área y del programa. Fácil de interpretar. Cons Pocos indicios de operación, poco flexible para operaciones realizadas. Paros operativos debido a problemas inesperados con actualizaciones (aunque estos ya sean conocidos para el desarrollador), y las soluciones únicamente se encuentran disponibles en soporte pagado. Pros No existe ninguna ventaja, si vengo a dejar mi opinion es para ayduar a esas personas que busquen un sistema de verdad, y no gasten en algo inservible. Cons TODAS!! es un sistema totalmente obsoleto, no ofrece nada, hasta incluso para realizar una factura seria mejor hacerla en el SAT, contpaq es solo un sistema que te abren multiples ventanas para hacer UNA sola factura, no sirve para control de inventarios yyyyyy muchas veces se desconfigura, se desconecta de la IP y el servidor, si tienes los 3 meses de prueba todavia te ayudan a volverlo a configurar, si no, preparate para desembolsar 600 pesos que ellos deben cubrir por un sistema basura que nunca funciona, conclusión, si van a tirar dinero, NO COMPREN ESTE SISTEMA. It took two weeks just to install the thing. It took months to train people to use it. Multiple calls to the vendor. Multiple chats and emails. We never made it to the integrations with our physical points of sales, let alone the online business part of our company. Had I known this, we never even bothered. It may be a standard in Latin-American countries, but it´s a horrible standard. Pros I made our accountant happy (for the most part). It can be viewed as the standard in Latin-American countries. Cons Extremely difficult to run, and upgrade. Their support system is decentralized, so you get to chat with the vendor (most are not well trained), not the company that designs and programs the software. Their business model is antiquated: need another module, get a different license; need more people, get different license; want to manage more than one company, get a different license; need online compatibility, get a different license. You get the point. The interface is unintuitive and, there is no other word to describe it: hideous. It takes so long to train people on it. And when you update Contpaq, dont believe it is going to be straight forward, oh no, it is going to be sooo painful. Pros Doesnt take a lot of Computer Resources, so it will be fast on any Server it is installed on, manipulation etc will be fast to do (When it works) Cons Everything Else, we have had a lot of issues with Contpaqi Contabilidad, Nomina and Commercial. Issues like, lost Buying Invoices, Lost Sells, Wrong Reports, Hacking, from no where the AD stops working, When we need Help, can pass days Even Months for an issue to be solved, Really Hate it.
