We have had two teacher onboarding meetings and all my team responded really positively. Pros I love the user interface and ease of functionality. The value for the cost of the product is great. I think the best part is the customer onboarding process and support you receive as a new customer. Lida has been absolutely amazing! Cons There is not much I do not like about DreamClass. We are still getting familiar with the product but if there is something missing Lida always asks if there are ways to make improvements that would help our school. As an administrator, I have found it to be an indispensable tool that simplifies the complexities of managing a school. After demoing and using dozens of the alternative options out there for SIS's and school management (including in depth experience with one of the biggest names in the field), this was by far the best. Additionally we found the software to be extremely intuitive and very easy to navigate and use. The standout aspect of DreamClass is undoubtedly its outstanding customer service. The support team is not only professional and knowledgeable, but they also demonstrate a genuine care for our unique challenges. Cons No cons. Anytime I have had any issues, customer support has been super helpful! They have such a quick response time, despite the time difference in our two areas. In the beginning, we had a few hiccups with forms and attendance, but support has been very quick to respond via email or zoom to get the issues resolved! No question is too big or small for them! The support team also reaches out periodically to check in and make sure everything is still running smooth on our end. Pros DreamClass is user friendly! I like the gradebook section best. It was very easy for my team to adjust to that part of the system! Cons Not really dislike - but the biggest adjustment has been communication via email. That has been the biggest complaint from our families. I know there is a texting feature, but we communicate a lot and it just isn't in our budget. The software is an all-rounder where school admin, teachers, and parents can seamlessly collaborate with each other. The tool is excellent, especially for managing classes, schedules, and invoices to parents. The invoice tracking (automatic if we choose card payments) and bulk notification features are game changers for us. The automatic tracking of teaching staff hours is incredibly useful – the number of hours and payment details are automatically calculated by DreamClass, saving us significant time and effort. What I appreciate most is that DreamClass keeps constantly improving and releasing new features, which shows their commitment to staying current with school management needs. We had a "wishlist" of features created by one of our admins and DreamClass was the clear winner for value and features. The user interface is outdated. There were complaints from students, instructors, and parents regarding the system. Also, we needed a solution that would integrate payments and replace Google Classroom. Best of all, DreamClass is less expensive so we have upgraded AND are reducing costs. Lida has been so helpful in getting us setup for success. We we forced to migrate mid-year from another platform and Lida helped us to get setup to begin in March. Lida listened to our needs and how our program was set-up and gave practicals on the best way for us to setup our school for the 25-26 school year. They also heard our feedback on what aspects are important to us and are re-programming some features to implement for our 25-26 school year. The team is quick to respond and we truly feel like they listen to our needs. Although DreamClass is unable to fulfill all of our needs at the moment, we have been encouraged that our feedback is heard and that they will look to revisit in the near future. We are happy with our decision to move to DreamClass and look forward to our long partnership! Pros Having the school calendar, student financials, attendance, assignments, SIS and applications all in one place is the greatest benefit. We had 4 different platforms prior to DreamClass and are now able to function as a school in one. This has been extremely effective and efficient. Cons Communication: We are a small private college and our students are all adults. Communication between students is a challenge as they are unable to communicate with their specific classes and have to click each student individually to send a message. Our Admin team are also instructors (professors); however, in order for students to message our admins, we have to be listed as instructors. Due to our size, we need more flexibility with communication. There is not 2-way communication; therefore, you are unable to reply to one another within DreamClass and can only reply via email when the message is sent through DreamClass. It would be more effective to have 2-way communication built in. Also, having communication notifications. If you receive a new message you can see it in DreamClass, but there isn't a notification in DreamClass to notify you of this. Pros I like that is makes my job a lot easier compared to all the data entry and emails I used to send most are automated now. Instead of using 2-3 different platforms to collect student registration, collect payment and make contact with parents, all 3 of these are done in one place. Operations Manager Education Management Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "DreamClass Review (BESTuition)" April 2, 2022 5.0 Our overall experience with DreamClass is very positive, the way that we are able to track students and use our scheduling is far better and more efficient than the way we were doing this before. Pros The features that are most impactful are the scheduling, attendance monitoring, lesson reviews, and class management. Once you have received the one to one training to use and tailor it for your company the product has been fairly easy to use with little complication. Most of the integration was easy to do, hopefully the rest of our staff feels the same way. Cons There were a few changes that needed to be made in order for us to use the system to our advantage. For example, the way that we would classify classes and subjects is different to how it needs to be done on DreamClass as our company is smaller and differs to the average school. The only areas that appear difficult are the ones that we have not needed to use or have not yet used, such as the grading system for our students. As mentioned before the integration was fairly easy to do, however there were little challenges as the features designed for a school have to be used differently for our company as we focus more on one to one tuition. The previous systems we used for school management were disorganized and inefficient. Due to our small size and limited funds, we knew we needed a simple and affordable option. DreamClass was the perfect solution and has so far been working very well in all areas. Cons We have certain aspects of our school structure that do not exactly align with DreamClass. This causes some kinks here and there in using the application for our unique community. However, nothing drastic so far that is preventing us from utilizing the system in the way we need it. Reason for choosing DreamClass We had considered multiple other programs, all of which were significantly more expensive than DreamClass.
