I am consistently impressed by the communication, diligence and professionalism of the developers my team collaborates with. The Cloudtheapp team worked diligently to help us build a custom QMS and have adapted the system to meet our requirements. Pros What I like most about the software is how intuitive it is to use. As a user I can easily navigate through the different workflows. As an administrator I appreciate that I can tweak and change the configuration of the applications on the fly. Cons There are a few quirky things that could be improved in the system. Primarily, there is currently no way to perform a system wide search so people have to know which application to search in to find what they're looking for. There is also no way to assign back-up or proxy approvers. We started to digitize our processes using Cloudtheapp platform and have now released 7 modules/processes following our needs and regulatory requirements. The system provided us with huge flexibility to design our own modules and meet our unique needs in the middle of digital transformation of our QMS. There are out-of-box module/processes in the platform to be used directly as well. Overall the implementation process is very smooth. The Cloudtheapp team is very supportive and responsive. Pros 1\. Easy-to-navigate interface2. Completely customizable app/module designs: we have designed many modules based on our own needs and stages of product development following regulatory requirements in the medical device industry. 3. Great benefit/cost ratio: In the early stage of the processes development, there were minimum cost with the user subscription model. 4. Easy for deployment: The Cloudtheapp platform allows us to easily go through the validation requirements as per FDA/MDSAP/ISO13485 regulations by moving the module designs across various stages of the development. 5. Awesome customer/technical support: Cloudtheapp team is super responsive and adaptable to our needs and requests, and we feel our feedback are valued all the time. Cons It will take some time for a user to be good at designing or customizing modules/processes in the platform. But once the person learned all the functions and tricks of "programing" the modules, the value is huge because you will be the true owner of your processes and not just be "forced" to use the form designs or workflows like in some other eQMS platforms. Pros I like that the platform can be customised to our company's workflow as we transited from paper QMS to electronic QMS. We love the document change integration with MS word, this is one heck of a feature converting between PDFs and allowing tracked change on Word. The breadth of the platform is wide, and we can cover a lot of manufacturing functions unlike some Saas in the market that is very limiting in their features. Cons As with FDA validation requirements, the software validation for designed apps is still a major resource drain. There are also minor inconveniences like inability to view files on browser and having to download to local copy before viewing but this is minor. We agree that FDA Validation Requirements for Life Sciences make go-live harder, but at Cloudtheapp we strive to do everything possible to make it simpler including: - The platform is fully validated for every update. - We recently released a new Validation App, to electronically manage the cycle of validating configured modules. - We offer validation of configured modules as a service We urge our customers to innovate their way by configuring modules based on their internal processes, and with that comes the cost of validating this configuration, but also comes the advantage of not changing internal processes to work according to the software. A feature is available in 2022.5.0 (expected in two weeks) that allows opening PDF files directly in the browser. That covers the majority of files you have. Now, it is less time consuming to create and log records and the approval process is now substantially simpler. The integrated analytics is a great tool for quality management review data compilation, and there are easy access and great visibility of all records for all relevant users. Customer service has been exceptional throughout the process. Pros Cloudtheapp software is very user friendly and easy to train our colleagues on its use. The flexibility of the software is also a plus. We tailored the flows to our specific needs. Cons The features I believe can be improved are printing (reports created from data filtering/analysis, the printing of graphs and printing of specific records) and email notifications to users with more details, e.g. title of the record and due date.
