I have tried a lot of writing tools out there, but this is the best I found that makes my process easier. I admit there are other tools that does some of the task better. But Frase does everything under the same hood and still gives a great result. Pros I am absolutely a fan of the question explorer module. I used to look up SERP results, read those contents one by one and get back to my editor to write the content individually. With Frase, I can simply check the top ranking contents and websites and get the questions I need to answer in my content to beat them in ranking. It doesn't get easier than this. Cons The UI is a little bland and takes a little time to get used to. But this is not a deal breaker. Enabled Our Team To Post New Content Regularly" September 10, 2020 5.0 Pros The software is easy to use and learn. It really saves you so SO much time when writing new blog posts that are optimized for SEO. My team used to dread writing new blog posts, however, frase changed that for us and it really has facilitated us being able to post new content regularly since we started using the tool. It is extremely useful to be able to create a content brief in a few minutes and outline the structure of a blog posts that can then be assigned to a team member to compose. Being able to do all of the research needed to write a helpful article without leaving the software really simplies the writing process. You can also add quotes with citations by just clicking on the ones provided. Incorporating some of the questions related to your topic which are easily provided by the tool also helps a lot with the content flow. Really happy we discovered frase and looking forward to more features and continued improvements to the tool! Cons I really don't have any complaints about the software, so far it's only been helpful to our team and has saved us so many hours of work. Similar Content does have a lot of potential but I really like how fast and powerful Frase is, and the interface is a bit more intuitive and easier to use than Similar Content's. It's only going to get better and better from here. Pros I really like the insight Frase gives in to a topic. Within 5 min I can get a good idea of what sort of questions users are asking for almost any given topic and I can make a very nice outline of an article. Cons Other tools like Surfer SEO give more insight into how the competitors are doing when it comes to ranking on Google. Frase is currently only focused on the content itself and less on ranking factors. Also, I feel Frase is spreading a bit thin with confusing tools like an AI chatbot... Pros Frase is the kind of app that will become a necessity to your business pretty soon, and become part of your workflow. Everybody and their dog say that content it the king, but, in order to this become true, you need quality content, content that people want to hear and read about it. Just empty words, will not move the needle of your business. Frase will help you to research for high quality content and give you the directions to write blog posts or documents that will work with real people. People ask questions, and most of the time, those questions, are not so obvious to guess. Frase will do all the hard work, and make your life waaaay easier. You need this to grown you business. Bonus: you can look at this from different country-specific perspectives. Pros I tested the bot and it was super impressive. If you have a knowledge base for your company, Frase is an absolute gem. I work regularly with the brief portion of the tool. If you have any need for content marketing or SEO that \*works\*, Frase is a must. It helps you learn from the best ranked content online while giving you the opportunity to make their content and copy writing mistakes. Cons If you use it for non-English briefs, it removes accents which is maddening. We could use it for other languages if it didn't do that. Out of the gate I was impressed, and as I use Frase more and more, I find it hard to think about managing without it. Pros Being a busy entrepreneur, I'm always short on time. So, when Frase popped up, I decided to give it a try. Best thing I ever did. It saves me so much time and effort trying to find and curate content that I can use related to business. I'm blown away by Frase because what used to take me hours, now takes minutes!! Also, I love how I can use Frase to help my customers quickly find content on my site using the Frase AI, which not only helps visitors to my site find answers, it also helps improve SEO. Cons There is a learning curve with anything, but that said, Frase is simple enough to understand. Give it five minutes, and you will have your content curated in minutes. Pros My favorite thing about Frase is how it does most of the research for you. Just feed it your keyword or question then boom! You'll have an instant outline and summaries of the top ranking content on one side then you can work on your own content on the other side of your screen. As you're writing, you can check how well you are covering the topics that would help you rank higher because Frase also has topic scoring. Cons The only drawback I experience (which is not so painful to work with anyway) is the lag saving the updates to your document -- something you won't even notice if you've been working on it for a long time. For example, is there enough content? Should I break the item into several documents etc. The end result is it helps me make a better tutorial for the reader. Pros I like that I can get a good overview of the topic. The service pulls in the top 20 results and allows me to see what other people think are key concepts. I also appreciate that they have an AI writer if you wish to use it. It's good for those times when you're stuck for words. They also have a matrix that shows where you might be missing concepts in relation to your competitors. I was also impressed with their learning materials and I thought they did a good job explaining issues you can encounter when using the AI writer. Cons When I optimize for an existing document, it doesn't always translate my HTML elements. For example, it converts ordered lists to bulleted lists. My biggest caveat is that discipline is required to avoid using research as a means of procrastination. Pros Frase pulls in a wealth of data based on your search, including briefs that detail keywords, questions, sections and links from sources. But wait. It also brings in summaries that provide you with all of the headlines from the sources pooled. Want to go deeper on a particular source? You can open the link, add the headlines to your own document as a place to begin your own content or blacklist the source if for some reason you find it not helpful. Topics, questions, links, stats and news are additional tools provided to you based on your initial search. With all this on one side of your screen, you can begin creating your own content using the sources to help get you started and as guides for you to create unique content that answers the questions or uses new angles on the subject. You get all of this for every single search topic you engage in. Building a course, a blog post or creating a script for your next YouTube video, Frase very quickly arms you with all you need to create compelling content with a minimum of investigative effort. However, the UI is fantastic, clean and fast. The briefs are almost effortless to create and I like them more than what my other more time consuming processes were generating. Pros Frase exists in a market that is highly saturated. Some competitors make the process of keyword research and content briefs overly complicated and time consuming. I thought this was just something that I had to live with until I found Frase. Generating the content briefs is a breeze and I can put together months worth of briefs in minutes instead of hours. Pros I'm not sure if Frase coined that "Close The Gap" catch phrase, but it was the first I'd heard it explained this way. Previous to Frase, we had to do "normal" Google searches to investigate topical content that we wanted to publish about. It was so much more time consuming, and much less efficient that what Frase allows us to do now. The research functionality functionality of Frase, really has changed our entire workflow with content research, for the better. Highly recommended! Cons Still trying to wrap my head around the "answer" technology that Frase is developing, and how we may be able to integrate it into our content site as a search tool for our visitors. In my tests so far, the answer results are not delivering the quality of results I would want from a tool like this. But... I don't want to be overly critical at this stage since I know this feature is still in early stage development. The chatbot assistant was a bonus and turning out to be very necessary to the overall process for creating blogs. I highly recommend this software. Pros The software is very easy to use. I was able to get the chatbot assistant set up on my website in no time. The dashboard is very user friendly. I am just touching the surface as to what this software can do. Cons If you try to figure out how to get started with out looking at the tutorials you'll be a bit lost. Thank goodness they did some very details videos. It did hang up a bit at first when saving.
