Pretty impressed overall! I would highly suggest one try Frase for at least a month, you won't be let down!

Pros

I'll be honest, going into trying out Frase, I had my reservations on its success. After a few weeks of use, it's just amazing for content creation of all different sorts!

Cons

They're a growing company with an expanding roadmap - there are some features missing, but let's give this some time to grow!

This great tool takes out hours of research on my part in figuring out how long my blog article should be and what information I should include. There's so much more to this tool that can help improve the content of your site including their answers tool.

Cons

I would like a little more instruction about specific words I could add, but I alternate between another tool to do that.

Frase is not only a time saver, but allowed me to communicate with our writer exactly what was needed in our content in order to match the search intent of the target keywords we were aiming for. We used Frase to complete a content updated for a piece of content that was not performing well. We created a brief based on the target keyword, and used it as a reference to update the content. Once the article was published and re-indexed, it went from position #37 in Google to position #7 within the hour of republishing.. My project manager was thoroughly blown away by how quickly we had the article created, published and bringing in traffic.

Pros

The software is crazy easy to use. I literally clicked a few buttons and had exactly what I needed. I was able to ship the brief off to my writer. Both of use saved a lot of time when it comes to research, planning and creating something that not only made our client happy, but allowed us to rank the article on the first page of Google

Cons

The software is new, so I am sure new features are down the road, but what I would love to see is integration with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, so that while creating the content brief, we can also see some solid competitive metrics to make better content decisions.

Pros

The Frase tool helps me not only write an SEO-optimized content but also design my content and its flow. I no longer need to go through the internet and do competitor research. Also, the tool makes sure that I do not miss a single point to include in my article. The concept map feature is impressive too.

Cons

A feature to organize my pages project-wise would be useful. The lack of proper organization of my content can be somewhat disappointing.

Amazing!!

Pros

I love how easy it is to use. I trained my team to use the best features of frase in under 2 hours. They are now up and running and producing great content that we can all be proud of. Tell me what other AI software is that easy to train people on.

Cons

I would appreciate if they had content curation with AI too. Some of their competitors do this. I would also like if they could leverage other SEO related keywords to give us an overall ranking in terms of Keywords. They have an algorithm that compares with other articles, however I believe this needs some work. They are very hard working and communicate extremely well so i am very pleased to be a part of their journey as they will definitely shape this space moving forward.

Overall I am enjoying Frase and loving the new changes and updates from everyone's thoughts to make the product even better.

Pros

Frase makes content research a breeze saving loads of time gathering content to form my own curated article or enough content evidence to create my own article and score it against other related articles. The best features I like most is the content brief outline that sets the stage for my article and the Summaries where I can quickly grasp if it's the content I need.

Cons

Would love to have incorporated is an api integration to the question wheel from Answer the Public site where lists all the who, what, where, how, when questions and a link to instantly find answers to these type of questions.

I love Frase and the team has been really responsive to all my requests. I also love the fact that you can connect to Search Console to get a quick overview of holes in your content-marketing strategy. That is really powerful.

Pros

It's very fast and VERY easy to set up a content brief that you can send to a freelance writer. This is the true value of this tool. You can get high quality and well-referenced content laid out really, really fast.

Cons

There are just a few things that bug me, and I know they will be fixed in the future. What I would love to see, however, is support for different languages. Choosing the locale in Google to be crawled is good and all, but drives limited results compared to a language-specific crawl that is not in English.

Pros

Frase helps my content research and writing so easy and fast. I love the concept map and the research features to a bit. Highly recommended!

Cons

Well as much as it's VERY HARD to see a flaw with this awesome content research software, I would love the "save" option in the content editor to be able to be clickable and a pop up prompt Reminder to save current document. Also an option to choose typography and fonts. Apart from the content editor save option and the fonts option FRASE just simplify what it takes to rank very high in Google SERP.

Overall frase is a really promising product. It tackles content generation (and also on-site content discovery through a q&a widget) in a fresh and useful way.

Pros

For content marketing teams that need to build up content for technical SaaS products, Frase can be a significant productivity booster. It allows us to put in typical user questions (or questions that users have) and have an all-in-one interface that already collects content from around the web that can be quoted and used for structural help

Cons

The sidebar interface with questions, topics, summaries is not really intuitive - it takes a bit of a learning curve to understand what is beneficial in what context. The "topic score" in addition is too much of a black box

This software has helped improve existing content, speed up SEO briefs for my writers, and is helping me improve the standard operating procedures I had in place for my business. I am extremely happy to have found Frase, and I'm excited to see what the future holds!

Pros

Although some features are lacking in comparison to more developed software like SurferSEO, the team at Frase goes out of their way to ensure they are listening to the community and implementing updates CONSISTENTLY. I am extremely pleased to have my voice heard and to see improvements being rolled out consistently.

Cons

The biggest con that I had experienced (which of course, they have rolled out an option to correct), was that when examining a specific keyword, some of the competitors they analyzed were for different types of content altogether. One example is that when I am researching "general contractors in Miami", I'm getting both results of actual General Contractors in the area, as well as Yelp/Angie's List business directories which aren't good competitors. Like I said, they've since fixed this by allowing you to exclude certain websites.

This is a time-saver and research optimizer for me. It also makes sure I'm doing a thorough job for clients, so their blogs, articles, etc. will rank well.

Pros

Frase saves you a ton of time. It gets all the best SEO related content in one place for you quickly. The main value ad is the time you'll save in research. You can also figure out what the competition is doing on Google, so your content can rank better. Will it write the content for you? No. But it builds your content brief in light-speed, so you can get to the writing much faster.

Cons

I wish it had actual word for word ranking help like Similar Content or Clearscope. But I understand the products niche is a little different.

Lovely software, gives a new tool in SEO optimization: Answer Optimization Review. It checks questions asked on search engines and their top answers and what makes them top. Gives you suggestions on your own questions and content!

Doesn't work on Firefox. Only Chrome and Safari

Really good! I had a question about when the document count renews and got an answer fairly quickly (even on the weekend).

Pros

It takes a long time to write a blog post. There's a lot of research that goes into it - from keyword research to the actual content of the piece. Frase genuinely makes this super easy to do. Within seconds, you can see what similar articles are talking about and learn a lot about a given topic. It's easy to see what sort of topics you need to cover to make sure that the content you write is comprehensive and even more so than any other piece - which is important for ranking. When you do then write your piece of content, you're easily able to see how it compares with Frase's tools.

Cons

There isn't much in the way of keyword research which was not overly expected but would be an amazing addition. The automatically-generated content brief is decent but not mind-boggling and so I often find myself manually creating it using the Frase tools. Perhaps restructuring what you pull out and include in the brief would be good?

Pros

Frase just works straight out of the box. This wonderful piece of software has revolutionized my work flow and saved me countless hours of research. Before I used to spend at least 5 hours of research and clicking around the serps, Frase now does it in under 1 minute. You would think I'm exaggerating, but I assure you I am not. I still like to nose around the serps after I have let Frase do it's thing but that's just for my own curiosity. I would highly recommend Frase to any content writers and information content website owners. A true gem.

Cons

There was a slight (and I mean slight) learning curve to begin with just to familiarise myself with what the reports were actually providing - but once I got my head around the information I was blown away with the depth of info I had at my finger tips.

Pros

The ease of inputing a search phrase or topic, and getting all top and relevant data on this phrase/topic laid out for you. Pick and choose, and voila you have written your own SEO optimized article, covering the most important. Great that you can specify your own domains or documents for doing the analysis.

Cons

We usually have done a lot of research about a topic of interest. Would be nice to be able to include only our own links (to articles of interests), links and PDFs.

Keyword suggestions are unbelievable. AI assistant is mind blowing. Google search console integration helps with thin pages of blog. Questions ideas are also very nice.

Cons

A little costly as a new launch I can only add up to 2 keywords while analyzing content. There must be filter for getting results as per the keyword mention per source.

Pros

Frase simplifies the hardest part of running an inbound marketing agency: content research and keyword optimization. Frase gives us a birdseye view of what Google considers 'top content' which makes optimizing content campaigns a breeze.

Cons

The interface seems a little unpolished and is still evolving, which makes it a little confusing to use. So far, the team has been super responsive to bug reports and keeping the community informed of UI changes.

Simply... a very important addition to our workflow that is extremely user friendly.

Pros

Producing articles for several digital publications can be a nightmare if you don't have the right tools and Frase is EXACTLY what we were looking for and didn't know it until we came across it on AppSumo. The ability to quickly prepare briefs via this software will not only save us time, (and understanding that time=money) my company will save THOUSANDS of dollars over the next year. So, I guess the thing I like best about Frase is the fact that we will not only be able to move fast but "SAVE MONEY"! I like saving money. :)
