I upgraded from a single license to a team license because of how good it is! Pros The Content analysis tool showing the heatmap of keywords is amazing. The ability to create briefs and share them with specific writers whilst keeping their work separate is wonderful, as is the answers machine. They're constantly innovating and bringing in new tools and functions so stay glued. Cons It's a shame that SEO scores (DA/PA analysis) of the top 20 competitors in the SERPs aren't included in the core offering, as multiple alternatives offer this in the core offering. Pros Some of the best ideas are the simplest (no offence Frase). But this is an inspired yet simple concept. I type in the keywords for the blog or article I'm researching. Then Frase pulls together diverse sources from across the interweb that feature these - alongside stats etc. I can pull the info together into a brief - for me, or to send to a copywriter. Easy. Things get a lot more fancy pants with the Answers Assistant and questions based on Google Traffic (awesome feature). Looking forward to getting my teeth into these features. But for now, the briefing tool works a treat. Wish I'd got an extra code now! Cons UI isn't great. It's very basic - but easy enough to pick up. Review Source Joshua J. Pros How much time it saves us creating quality, relevant content. Cons Some of the language used for the different settings/features wasn't super intuitive at first - but picked it up very quickly. I get an idea for an article or a podcast, and it takes just a couple of minutes and I have all the material and references I need for a very targeted piece of writing. Pros Very easy, even intuitive to use. My first test search found material on all of my competitors' sites, and some material I had never found before. I've been doing some more detailed searches, and it definitely finds in 30 seconds what would have previously taken 30 minutes, by the time I copied and pasted everything useful. Cons The promotion bills the AI as somehow doing some of the content generation. The AI does a great job finding material, but it is still up to you to do some writing, unless you are shameless about plagiarizing others' material. Review Source TB Tobias B. But, my favorite feature is the content map. Hands down, best feature I’ve seen so far from many content creation softwares. Pros I liked the ability to research a specific subject, it scans the info available on the web and generates a summary of places of interest with good content. Of course, we can find this content on our own as well but certainly not as quickly. From there we can start drafting a document for editing and final review right within the results. I think the biggest feature is the ability to scan your own website and provide quick answers to your users but that's something we aren't using at the moment. I read through a couple tutorials and had it down within 10 minutes. My favorite part of this software is how it summarizes other top ranking articles for a keyword. I like scanning through the subheadings to see what type of info is being covered. I also like loading up my current content to see how it compares to the top ranking content. I don't use all the features, but the ones I do use are very helpful. Cons I wish it just analyzed the top 3-5 positions. It appears to be using data from the top 30 sources, and I don't really care about anything ranking on page 2 or 3 in the SERPs. Review Source MH Markus H. I can write better articles with simply rephrasing some words by a bit. Pros I mostly use the topics tab for improving my topic score compared to the top 10 google ranking articles. Looking at the questions tab helps me to pinpoint questions that I need to answer in my articles on \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] Cons I would definitely need an Export to Markdown feature, because currently I export to HTML and then convert it to Markdown. I think the document view has too many tabs and could need some reworked layout for better UX. Pros I love that within minutes of creating my account, I was able to start generating valuable research for future articles and blogs. It eliminates several steps from the online research process with thorough content briefs. I also like that the answer engine feature will help my website visitors more easily find the information they need. Cons So far I haven't found anything to mention that I don't like.
