Highly satisfied. The system is very user friendly for the agency and the client. You are given instant notification of payments. I especially like the ability to email prefilled payment pages so the client can complete the transaction on their own time.

Pros

ePayPolicy has filled the gap with credit card processing for a low monthly fee. No more waiting on a "check in the mail" or having to advance funds and trust that the client is good for it. The payment portal is branded so the client will trust the payment portal. It doesn't appear to be a third party processor, but looks and feels like an in-house solution, giving added trust on the client's end.

Cons

I have had no complaints with ePayPolicy, the company or the platform. It has performed as advertised.

I have had a very good experience with ePayPolicy for transactions under $10,000 it's my first choice company to use.

Pros

Epaypolicy is the best insurance platform to accept payments from clients. Their Customer Support is great, the Learning Curve is really easy and intuitive, the clients information is held with the highest Security. Epaypolicy is a great Financial Management tool. It makes taking Credit Card Payments and check payments ACH very easy. I have not experienced any Bugs and Issues to help make the Sales and Purchases for clients using ePayPolicy the best available option.

Cons

I dislike the link you get from epaypolicy to add to emails is really long. There are other companies and one I use is Anddone, when using them they have a shortend url code to add to emails. The reason I use ePayPolicy over Anddone is the money becomes available in my Trust Account Much Faster than using Anddone. Also the other Major dislike about using ePayPolicy is it has a $10,000 transaction limit, whereas Anddone has no limit and their fee's are lower. I use epaypolicy first to get the money first but for larger transactions I use Anddone.

Reason for choosing ePayPolicy

Anddone wasn't on the list for insurance payments. I just put Adobe as a placeholder I didn't consider any of those other companies. I've been using ePayPolicy for several years now. It's great. I get paid faster using ePayPolicy for transactions up to $10,000 I still use Anddone for larger purchases it costs less to the client and they don't charge me the $25 monthly fee/$300 yearly fee ePayPolicy charges Insurance agents to use the service.

Nothing to like about the system, customer support is poor, fees for credit card is above what other systems are charging

Overall, I've had a great experience with ePay's services. It certainly has helped me bring in more income that I would otherwise missed out on.

Pros

Adding ePay has made it easier to close more deals. Before I would have to turn away customers because I couldn't accept card payments. Their rates are competitive. It's easy to use payment links.

Cons

My biggest gripe with using ePay is that emails are rquired. I work in an area where most of my customers don't have an email and only recently obtained a bank account. There should be a way to bypass this with a check box saying "a printed receipt was provided." in my insurance business, I always provide an itemized receipt including ePay's fee for the transaction. Another issue I have, is that deposits are not always deposited in a timely manner. some deposits will be broken up, even if they were taken on the same day.

I made the switch because of the higher cost to use their services. Instead of passing the transaction cost to the customer, they would deduct it from your deposit.

Could not be happier. Saves us time, easy to use, easy to teach, can void if mistakes are made, and saves our agency money. Near perfect!

Pros

What we like the most about EPay is the ease of use for this product! From teaching the process to new employees to instantly telling us the credit card payment is invalid, it says us time and saves our agency money.

Cons

Only con is not receiving instant notice if an ACH or ECheck is insufficent.This might not be a item that is available yet but sure hope it does become available in the future.

I tried 2 other payment providers and the ePay Policy experience has been the best. And least expensive!

Pros

ePay Policy has made my agency billing so much easier. It is very simple to use. It integrates with my AMS. And, it allows my customers to choose their payment method, including premium financing and takes care of the merchant fees for me.

Cons

No direct payment to my carriers. Which I heard is changing. And not integrated with my Premium Finance company of choice.

ePay Poicy has been a wonderful tool and has allowed my staff to scale accounts receivable at a rate that would have otherwise required additional payroll dollars. It also opens up additional payment methods that we are not currently set up for i.e. Credit and Debit Cards.

Pros

ePay Policy has a fantastic user interface and the communication from their team is top notch. They call to check in and are always quick to answer any technical questions I may have. Site integrations are very robust and we're able to plug in other tools like premium finance and back end processing.

Cons

Can't say that I've found anything yet. About 6 months into the platform and I find it to be one of the best decisions I have made in scaling my MGA.

Reason for choosing ePayPolicy

Customer service. The epaypolicy team jumped right in and answered every question quickly and effectively. The technical implementation team was knowledgeable and quick to respond. The people made the decision for our company.

Overall, it's a great system to use and it does save a lot of time. Pricing is very competitive and it helps my agency run more efficiently.

Pros

I like ePayPolicy's ease of use especially sending out an invoice to the customer to pay directly online. I use to absorb the credit card fees and now it's all included on the invoice. A lot of my vendors also use ePayPolicy to accept payment so no more mailing checks!

Cons

I wish my starting charge limit was bigger. They want me to send some financials and since I'm not necessarily caught up, I can't send those in so I'm stuck at lower limit.

Overall it’s been great. Nice, easy tool to use to allow our clients to pay manually. This has been a simple solution to a past obstacle we faced.

Pros

Ease of use. Very efficient way to receive payments from our clients. Simple, clear, and easily accessible.

Cons

Historically, no option to set due dates, and auto reminders for past due invoices. I would love a function to automatically send reminders for our clients to pay.

It was a super simple process from start to finish, and I am very happy with the decision to make the switch.

Pros

How EASY it is, for both our insured's and for us to use. The onboarding and training were super simple, and the build out was streamlined and did not take much time.

Cons

We have to make an invoice before a client can pay, and they cannot make a payment to us for any amount other than what is invoiced. We are getting used to it, but that was a big adjustment to take the time and create an invoice for each and every transaction vs just telling our client how much to pay.

Very good! The staff is hands on & does seem to want to help. They listen to feedback and seem eager to improve their products and help their customers.

Pros

Overall, EPAY has great customer service and they have a great product. I have tried one of the other features (Epay Financing) -- and while it wasn't a good fit for our agency, I liked it and think it's a good option.

Cons

I dislike the new payment page a lot. It's confusing to many people which deters them from using it and therefore they have to call into the office for help. A self-service payment option is null & void is people still have to call in for help. I do find that some of the funding can also be slow.

Pros

Being able to accept credit card payments and having a professional looking payment landing page for my clients.

Cons

Some check payments take more than the usual couple of days to be deposited into our account, which can throw off cashflow.

Any reticence we had in turning over the control of our payments to a third party have been alleviated by the security and comfort we feel but the transparent and seamless integration into our agency bill business. The support and constant improvement sought by the organization gives me confidence that this partnership is truly a must have collaboration for any agency. It is not just a tool but your right hand in matters of premium collection.

Pros

Simple to use and integrate with your management system and invoicing. Excellent customer support with an emphasis of treating us like VIPs.

Cons

It would be nice to have true debit card capability as we do have customers that come into our office

We've been using ePayPolicy for a couple of years now, and it has made a big difference in how we manage payments. The platform is user-friendly, secure, and integrates seamlessly with our agent management system. Our clients appreciate the ability to make payments quickly and easily online, whick has reduced processing time and improved cash flow on our end. Their customer support is very helpful whenever we've hadd questions.

Cons

The one thing I like least is the transactions fees, which can be a sticking point for some clients...not so much with ACH but with the credit card fees.

We love to use the system. We did try another program but it was not as user friendly as this one. Simple is the key here.

Pros

It was extremely easy to learn the system. We take advantage of all of the features. After 5 years, we have had 0 issues with the system.

Cons

There is nothing we do not like about ePayPolicy. It works perfectly and when updateds or new processes are added, we dont even request help to figure it out.

Overall, I have no complaints about this service. Everything has worked smoothly, and I haven’t encountered anything I would consider a drawback. The features meet my needs, the platform is reliable, and the overall experience has been very positive.

ePay has been a solid solution to managing payments from insureds to our office; with the challenges in the CA insurance markets and more customers having to use non-admitted, agency bill policies, ePay has helped make all the extra work a little easier.

Pros

ePayPolicy is easy to use; it has improve our agency's workflow and really helps with "just in time" situations when policies need to be bound. No more "waiting for the check in the mail"; we know immediately when funds are sent to us.

Cons

We have ePay set up so that is costs our users up to $10 to make an ACH payment; most customers don't mind, but I hope none of customers think it's a "junk fee". It takes a couple of days for the funds to hit our account (unlike Zelle)

Pros

Overall, epay has been a huge improvement for online payments. User friendly and available to all clients to use.

Pros

The customer support is very quick and knowledgeable on the system. Issues are resolved quickly, when they arise. Payment options, including money transfer and Credit card payments are easy to make and overall, everything is very user friendly!

Cons

One con would be the auto pay option. Our billing/ financing does not work well with autopay. Also if there are credits on the account (which are unseen to insured), payment is not taken and can sometimes be overlooked and get behind.

Pros

Payment link creation and payment collection. Very small learning curve. Simple payment processing and clear for users.

Cons

User website is VERY slow. It is hard to get things processed or checked through the admin side of the website.

Pros

The easy system and how we could send a link via email with security and no issues. If any issues occur, customer support is a phone call away.

Cons

the limit of $1000 imposed and the fact we have to go to the payment page to make the payment and cannot do it in the same page as the information.

Overall my experience with ePay is positive. It has highlighted some issues on our agency's side. Such as making sure our system data is correct, and our accounting stays up to date. Customers get emailed notices that a payment is due if the accounting dept. doesn't close it out in our agency system. That can be frustrating but keeps us on out toes.

Pros

ePay has simplified getting payments from our customers. We no longer have to wait for a check in the mail and the option of paying electronically is a great option for our customers.

Cons

It is sometimes difficult for customers to find their invoices if they enter the wrong zip code, etc. Keeping updated information in the agency system is extremely important to make this integration work.

the fees. no one likes additional fees. Of course the fees can sometimes be a problem as no one likes to pay more than they need to.
