Pros

Very easy to use from an accounting perspective. Our clients love the option to pay for their agency bill invoices online.

Cons

The credit card fees are high. The ACH fee is higher than Applied Pay, which is just a flat $4.00....with Epay it can be up to $10.00.

Pros

I like the ease for our customers to make credit card or ACH payments without having to come to the office.

Cons

I have not had any problems using ePay policy. I would recommend everyone try it for themselves to see how beneficial it is.

Pros

The ease of use for us and the clients. It is great how we can link invoices with our operating system.

Cons

The high credit card processing fee and three-day waiting time for funds. Clients seem okay with the $10 processing fee.

WOW! We love .com. We have been accepting credit card payments at the insurance agency for over 20 years. Before we started working with Epay in 2018 we either swiped the card through the machine or manually entered it in. Now we use our epay link to text or email the insured so they can process their payment and we receive an instant email when they do. The amount of time we save equals more than 150 hours per year. Not to mention the savings of cc fees charged by the banks and card companies of approximately 5k per year. I tell all my insurance agent friends about how much we love epay. I have never experienced the type of excellent service from a software company. The fact that it works exactly like they said it would is incredible. The features, integration, ease of use, and savings have taken my agency to another level. The fact that we can take Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover at no cost to us is amazing. The funding and tracking of fund availability is the best.

Pros

The ease of use combined with a big savings of credit card fees.

Cons

I’ve been using since 2018 and I cannot recall any issues. A technology tool that works 100% is mind blowing.

Reason for choosing ePayPolicy

The fees charged by our bank and credit card company were taking 3 to 4% of our 10% commission. solution to pass the fee to the client was my primary reason for switching

Great so far. It looks like it has a lot of features that I don't use or even understand.

Pros

Before EPAY clients had to mail us paper checks for agency billed policies when the company that didn't have their own payment system. This caused massive delays. We had to wait for the check, then deposit it, then wait for it to clear. What used to take 1 or even 2 weeks has been shortened down to 15 minutes.

Cons

I wish the link to make a payment page was right on the main page. I have to click several links to get to it, which is annoying since it's one of only two features I use. I also wish I could send payments to clients, and not just carriers. Sometimes we need to send refunds to clients, and I have to hand write checks which I hate because it is time consuming. The ability to copy/paste the clients name, check amount, mailing address, and memo and have EPAY send them a check for me would be a huge time saver.

Engaging with was a game changer in my agency. It provides for a much super-efficient way to bind new business and makes the renewal process much easier. In a world of customization, online payments is one more option we can offer to our clients.

Pros

The convenience to our clients making payments online leads to more efficiency to my team. Given the increasing unreliability of the postal service, the small fee my clients pay for this convenience is well worth it. The integration with our agency management system provides immediate documentation when a payment has been made.

Cons

When the maximum EFT payment amount is reached, and another client payment must be made for the balance, it's frustrating a client must pay the fee twice. It's fine for credit cards since it's a percentage of the total.

The integration and online administrative capabilities.

Pros

The ability for us to offer several types of payment methods to our clients is imperative to running a smooth operation. The ease of use is second to none and coupled with the reporting makes transactions clear and concise.

Cons

The hefty increase in the check processing option was a hard pill to swallow - Had that increase been done in 2 smaller increases, it wouldn't have been as hard to convince clients to use -

The relatively quick turnaround of receiving funds is great. the overall ease of use is great for both our staff and our customers. And I love when our MGAs/Brokers use it for allowing us to see our open invoices with them and pay those premiums quickly online.

Pros

Like the title says. Its is simple to use for our agency, for our customers, and it is much safer than sending checks through the mail.

Cons

the fees for processing payments, both ACH and credit cards, have increased quite a bit since we first started using the product a few years ago.

Reason for choosing ePayPolicy

Fees have made us look again at one point but the ease of use that epay offers is second to none.

The fees of Input 1 are lower than . However, ePayPolicy is reliable and our major business partners are using ePayPolicy. It gives us confident to keep using ePay.

Our clients can easily access which has reduced our physical check processing by half and enhanced timeliness of payments!

Cons

The few errors we have had occur have been on the client side with input error; however, the transaction declines are appreciated.

Recommendation: I think you could innovate further. By allowing for a shortlink, or partnering with a someone like TinyURL. I typically take the link from the green E pay button, and shorten it. I then rename it, and text it directly to customers. This allows for a shortlink, with a specific link, this streamlines the process in which we can send customers invoices and adds a level of personalization. You go from having a link that is very long, to a very short link like this. TinyURL/customerpay341

Pros

The ability to integrate directly into your CRM is a game changer. By doing so, it allowed our agency to innovate in many ways. Not only did the agency benefit from it, but our customers reap numerous benefits from it aswell. Thank you ePayPolicy!

Cons

This is a 5 star product, no complaints on our end, the only way it could be better, is if it were free!

Pros

Ease of use and customization. Our account representative suggested and set up our logo and company colors to coordinate with our brand. The "Pay now" button is simple to insert into your email signature line. The cost of Epay is lower than most other options, and their customer service is responsive and helpful. I receive email notifications when clients submit payments, and funds are typically received the next business day directly to our bank account.

Cons

Epay is a great payment platform, however the preset limits are a bit low for today's insurance premiums. It was a bit of a hassle to get those limits increased, BUT the customer service reps were amazing, very knowledgeable, and explained in detail the need for the lower limits so I was able to make an informed decision on raising the limits we were comfortable with.

Ease of implementation and continued use of the program has been fantastic, and the timeliness of the customer's payments getting routed to us is quick. I'm quite happy with !!

Pros

I can provide a credit or debit card option to my customers to pay their premiums without it affecting my bottom line. The ability to pay agency bill broker statements was a huge bonus. I hardly write trust checks anymore!

Pros

is easy to use for both admins and payers. The interface is streamlined and simple to understand. Fees are very transparent.

Cons

I wish we could set up invoices with more than one payment amount option so people could select the amount which is required for their preferred installment plan. Also, most of our users don't remember that they can set up custom invoice links so they spend a lot of time typing out emails with instructions to send with the basic link. Maybe they don't feel like they are "allowed" to sign into our account or they just forget that it's an option? Better training on that feature would be helpful.

I have been using epay for years now for insurance premium payments. Many of the GAs I work with also use them. Best value or cc or echeck processing that I have been able to found and super easy to use!

Overall my experience has been spotless. ePay Policy has helped increase my book of business by offering a safe secure payment link. I have a clients across the US so a mobile payment option is a must.

Pros

Having my own secure link to send to clients. Having clients across the country requires me to have a safe secure mobile pay option.

Cons

Max limit of any one payment. Increasing the limit is a careful process which I understand but it is still a con at times.

Reason for choosing ePayPolicy

I didn't search for any others. I had used myself to make a payment for a product. I loved the platform after doing research.
