Absolutely pleased with it and the time that we save using it. The epay url for our clients that we can insert into emails is also a huge win.

Pros

Easy to use, clients appreciate the click to pay link we send via email, reporting is very easy to review and no issues whatsoever with the tool. Definitely no checks lost in the mail since launching use of the tool.

Cons

No negative feedback to provide. The tool works incredibly well.

SIMPLE AND EASY EPAY POLICY HAS ENABLED OUR AGENCY TO WRITE BUSINESS DIRECTLY IN ANY STATE WHERE WE HOLD A LICENSE. IT IS CRITICAL TO HAVE THE INSURED'S MONEY PRIOR TO BINDING.

ABILITY TO ACCEPT BINDING FROM CLIENTS WHEN WE CANNOT MEET IN PERSON.

Cons

I DO WISH THE EPAY LINK WOULD DEFAULT TO THE ACH OPTION FOR THE PAYMENT LINK INSTEAD OF THE CREDIT CARD LINK. CLIENTS USUALLY CALL ME IMMEDIATELY TO COMPLAIN HOW MUCH IT COSTS THEM TO SEND THEIR PAYMENT. I HAVE TO REMIND THEM TO CHECK THE NEXT BOX FOR ACH WHICH CHARGES A NOMINAL FEE

I've had a very positive experience with in terms of the product features and customer service.

Pros

Having a custom payment portal for our business; being able to provide a custom payment link to our clients; ease of processing.

Cons

Refund processing time (7-10 business days for ACH funds to post). The cost per transaction that we must either absorb or pass on to our clients.

Pros

Using has taken the hassle out of collecting agency bill policy premiums and made the renewal process that much more streamlined.

Cons

The payment amount cap has created a few issues on larger accounts attempting to make their premium payments.

Pros

Using epay makes collecting payments easy-- we can send a payment page link to customers and even a link to a prefilled page where all the customer needs to do is fill in their payment info. Plus, we do not have to absorb any processing fees-- these are easily included in the customer total. The payment notifications can go to any staff that need to record the info and for month-end reconciliations, I can sort payments by our various accounts.

Cons

I wish I could get a downloadable spreadsheet of batches for my month-end reconciliations. The website is slow, comparatively speaking, on pulling up info and reports.

Pros

This service has helped us change the receipt of a payment from the client that took at least 3 or 4 days, and sometimes a week or more, down to an immediate turn-around in some cases.

Cons

The dashboard is not intuitive, even for users in our office who are billing a client on a weekly basis, it is not always easy to find an invoice, or change an invoice if there is a need.

Company change, the new owner did not prefer QuickBooks, and this option was better and faster to generate the bill to the client.

The ease of use and the ability to immediately take payments has made my agency much more productive. It saves us so much time and money, not having to 'chase down' payments from customers promising to mail us the payment.

Cons

I have no cons. My needs are very basic and suits them very well.

It's been a pretty good experience. We thought about switching to a different vendor for electronic payments because it integrates with our management system, but there weren't enough savings of time or money to make the change worthwhile.

Pros

It makes accepting electronic payments easy. We did not have the ability to take credit or debit cards prior to signing up for , and it makes it easier to get paid.

Cons

I haven't been able to send payments to carriers through , even though I know the feature is available. I can't find the carrier I need.

Reason for choosing ePayPolicy

We did not choose over an alternative at the time of original purchase, but since then have looked at Applied Pay because it integrates with our agency management system. There just wasn't enough savings of time or money to be worth the hassle of switching providers.

Very easy to enter the information in for client and explaining to them with fee applies if pay by ACH or creditcard and getting payment confirmation right away.

Pros

It is easy for a client to understand how to make a payment even if they do not know how to use a computer.

Cons

We only use e-pay for payments not policies. It was confusing at first who the payer was and payment information.

Pros

So easy to implement and use. Many of our other Agencies we do business with use E-pay as well so we are proficient with their pay system now.

Cons

We hate that ANY fee has to be charged BUT e-pay is very standard and simple.

Every card that was used had a different fee so we never knew what to charge the customer and many times we overcharged or ended up eating the fees ourselves.

Pros

It is very fuctional and easy to use. It gives instant notification to your email when a payment is received. And it processes the funds quickly through your bank.

Cons

Nothing, it is an amazing tool that I will continue to use.

Very good overall experience with Epay use in office.

Pros

What I like about Epay is one of the most easiest and convienent tools we have to work with.

Cons

The least thing I didn't like about epay was the fee amounts are a bit higher than a few other companies that have asked to switch over and sometimes the amount of time it takes to secure payments at 100%.

Overall we have had a great experience and like how much it has simplified receiving payments.

Pros

We like how easy it is to receive payments from clients. We have the link included on our invoices and our clients pay that way.

Cons

The time it takes for the money to be available. For some of our larger payments we prefer not to wait and will have these sent through a wire instead so they can be processed faster.

This was the first company that reached out about this type of product so we went with it.

The customer service experience is exceptional and I couldn't be more pleased with the decision to engage them for epayment. As the only vendor at the time which integrated with our Vertafore product I initially felt captive in selecting them, but they are a delight to work with and our customers love it as well!

Pros

This software could not be easier to use. The pricing makes it a no-brainer to offer epayment options to clients and the portal is very quickly set-up and customized.

Cons

I wish we would customize the skin or colors for our branding.
