I am overall very happy with how simple everything is.

Pros

Simple is the name of the game. It integrates easily with My Invoicing software and Clients are easily able to make payments with it.

Cons

Fees charged to clients are high. $10 fee for ACH is too much

Pros

ePay makes processing payments seamless for the staff and client's when sending a link for them to make their own payment. For us this was more expensive than our older service but well worth the price.

Cons

The system does move a bit slow when you are logged in to your main portal. But never on the payment processing side.

Pros

The ease of use with an email invoice or the use of clicking on a link designed to receive payment for the client with ease. They can pay via credit card or EFT. The client receives an email of a receipt and so do we as the agent.

Cons

I don't see anything negative that comes to mind. The system is one of a kind.

Delay waiting for funding (not their fault but still can take a few days to get funded).

Pros

The User Interface is simple to use on both sides of the transactions. The fee structure is simple and cost effective.

Cons

The only con was we needed to update out single transaction processing limit. once that was complete, we were 100% happy!

THE TIMEFRAME ON HAVING THE MONIES DEPOSITED INTO BANK ACCOUNT. TAKES A BIT OF TIME TO RECEIEVE MONIES.

We have found that ePay is a very convenient, easy to use platform. They have a very straight forward website and as the admin, it is easy to look back at previous transactions to find things. I also like that so many other companies use them to process payments.

Pros

We are able to email our personalized ePay link to our insureds so they can make a payment quickly. Most of our customers use the ACH/Check feature which has a low fee, but it does give the option of a credit/debit card if needed.

Cons

When we get the email alert about batches sent to the bank, they don't break down what is included. We often have multiple at the same time so it would make it easier to verify all the amounts went through OK.

Overall it has been great. We have shifted a large share of our payments online with this vendor and the costs are paid directly by the insureds. We do not have to deal with the regularity fees and such.

Pros

This allows our clients to pay however they want and when they want. The recurring feature lets insurers set up their payments and not think about the monthly invoices. And now with COVID-19 our company is so happy we have this set up to receive payments when we are all working remotely.

Cons

When setting up recurring payments there is no ability to edit anything. It is either what you set up or cancel it and start over. It does not pull from our client manager either. So insurers who have endorsements have to cancel and set up their payments again.

Reason for choosing ePayPolicy

The effort of payment and setting up recurring payments is o. The user and not our staff.

Great, except for the 1099 at the end of the year. Premiums collected are not "INCOME" to my agency, they are gross premiums, 90% of which is the carrier's premium. Not taxable.

Pros

Efficient collection of insurance premiums

Cons

sending me a 1099 at the end of the tax year, which the IRS thinks is unreported income!

The experience has been good. The system is easy to use and if you need to void a payment or make a change, the system is pretty easy. The few times I have spoken to customer support they have been able to assist quickly!

Pros

Ease of use for the agency and the client

Cons

There is a cap to the amount you can take for a payment. You can get it raised but there is specific documents that need to be sent it. Some of our commercial clients have higher premiums and they have to make multiple payments if they want to pay online.

Amazing, it was something we ABSOLUTELY needed and I didn't realize how much we actually needed this

Pros

Easy to use, simple to teach others and provides all the things we could need.

Cons

Wish we could process payment faster, wish that we had a longer timeframe to cancel out a payment.

Pros

Just wish I had gotten started on ePayPolicy earlier. It makes AR and AP so much easier and in turn, it frees up a lot of time for getting new business! It is super easy to setup, use and the fee is very reasonable.

Cons

I don't have any complaints, the customer service has addressed a few of my requests for edits right away.

We've been very happy with the service. It's paid for itself because we gain clients who otherwise wouldn't have to mail payment or come in person with cash.

Pros

It's easy to use , and the fee is right on pint.

Cons

The only con is the multiple emails received when a payment is made. Perhaps a box that says send me confirmation email or don't send me confirmation email. No true complaints though. It is good to know the payment processed.

Pros

My favorite feature about epay is the fact that we can prefill a link with an invoice page and our name shows up. I also like that the payment page shows the price fees for ACH versus card.

Cons

The system seems to lag sometimes and delays our processing time
