So far we have had positive feedback from our appraisers. Pros The features I like the best as administrator is the ability to customize to our company's most frequent appraisal request. i.e. report, loan and property types, Task management is absolutely wonderful. As an example we are surrounded by water and to able to list a property as waterfront is helpful for future research. The notification system cuts out the need to retype emails and messages. I believe the Tag feature will also be very helpful in researching past jobs to refer to . Cons I haven't used this long enough to say there are any definite negatives. i believe if I find something I don't like or can't use, that customer support will be able to direct me to correct use and or place to find it. So far couldn't ask for better customer support, access in the chat room is always available during extend business hours and there are multiple articles that can also help. Appraiser Real Estate Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Overall Wonderful" April 1, 2020 5.0 This company has been overall wonderful and their customer service has been often easy to connect with and helpful. There are occasional times when they do say the same things, that they are going to make a suggestion to their technical team regarding some option or change that we need. Pros This is a fantastic software to track all of our daily appraisals, our currently paid and outstanding invoices and to see that larger picture of each of the details of our business over the past week, month and year. Cons This software was seemingly developed for a massive team of appraisers, in a business that has multiple members in a large variety of locations. Therefore the training for using the software included bells and whistles, options and features, that may never apply to us and certainly did not apply to us when we started. March 26, 2021 3.0 When I canceled and asked for a refund, they notified me that I had selected the “pay for a full year” option which was previously identified on the order tab. I did not notice a separate tab that allowed monthly billing which is what I would have selected as I was interested in trying it out. Anow did cancel my subscription services but declined to refund any balance for the year, rightfully so, considering that I had inadvertently accepted the defaulted option for the year service… Please try this software out first and only try the month-to-month option until you determine it is the right software for your business!!! Pros The IDEA that it was cloud-based... And that it should have been more affordable then Win total Cons This software requires a full-time employee to manage it. You need a person to forward your client's emails, or create the clients for the orders, and then manage the Calendar to updated inspection dates and due dates. If you are a small office with 1 or two appraisers and a few trainees the costs of this software are as much or more than Win total when you include all the additional “services” you need to pay for. Without a full time “Office manager “managing this software, you will be forced to create all the orders in Anow, adjust the calendar for the inspection dates and the due dates of each file, and you will still have to update each of your AMC with the status of the orders making this a full-time job. It is much easier to use the “Free” Microsoft teams for your calendar. The appraisal software was no easier than Win total and the mobile app crashed while I was doing an appraisal inspection which did not make me confident in its use. Reason for choosing Anow After working with ANOW for 3 – 4 weeks, my assistant and trainee and I determined it was more work and hassle than helpful; and we went back to Win total as our software provider and we use Free Microsoft Teams as our calendar and file transfer system. Certified Residential Appraiser Real Estate Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Great Service" March 31, 2020 5.0 There is a bit of a learning curve but the user interface is very intuitive and with just a bit of research we had the system up and running and customized to fit our business within a couple days. Pros The service is great. It really helps keep our office organized and assignments on track for completion and delivery to our clients. The service saves us a tremendous amount of time and cuts down on the amount of data entry work necessary for each assignment. In addition, our appraisers have mobile access to their schedules and work files with the mobile app. All around great service. Cons The costs for add on services are a bit confusing and the overall cost is slightly high for a website subscription service however the time savings the service provides helps make up for the added cost. April 7, 2020 5.0 Love it, plan to keep it. Pros The software is very intuitive. I had purchased it before I had an assistant just to get better track of my appraisals and automatically input my orders through MailNOW. When I hired an assistant it became invaluable. I have a workflow set up so that I don't have to even tell her what she has to do next, she knows. LOVE IT. You must get MailNow with it or you are truly missing out on a time saver. Cons The one thing that I know I need to figure out is the easiest way to do billing. Sometimes I have missed outstanding invoices because they have partially paid (ex the final inspection). Office Manager Real Estate Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Valuable product that needs some work" March 31, 2020 2.0 Our goal was to go paperless and we have mostly achieved that goal except for revisions due to the inability to see them so we've had to work around it with emails. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been friendly and usually helpful but when we report a bug we are asked to do a lot to document issues and we really don't have the time to be doing QA that should be done before releasing updates. Pros We are pleased to have found a product that allowed us to go paperless. That being said, we find the product has been buggy and at times performance is poor. For the most part we have been able to work around some of the deficits in both the app and desktop software but it definitely needs more to work to make it more reliable and use friendly. Cons At times performance is slow, fields won't update properly, creating duplicate client records, generally buggy at times with no warning of updates made to look out for issues. Some features like revisions and reporting are not as useful in how they work. Opening multiple windows to work in a real world environment that requires being able to toggle between multiple orders or areas also doesn't work well. Needs more of a windows/widgety approach that has more flexibility to customize and have multiple items open at one time. Reason for choosing Anow Features seemed more complete and testimonials made it sound like a stable product. Any issues we've had technologically have been resolved in a timely manner. They've become a part of our team! Pros The software is customizable to your workflow. This makes adapting to it after converting from our old excel logs much simplier and easier. Cons The mobile app is limited in functionality. Pros We are able to stay organized as a team in one place. This was a huge issue for us as the team grew. Cons The calendar feature could be improved a bit more to include outside work/blocking features in a bit more detail. For work purposes it is great. The app doesn't work fluidly like the site - that would be helpful to improve. Reason for choosing Anow The calendar is a huge feature for us and this one worked with our work flow. We need all members on a single space for calendar and orders. Anow also has a bunch of other features that are very useful for the business that we weren't looking for. Pros Set up was super easy and it's streamlined our appraisal office. Before Anow, we had to look in multiple places (Outlook, Total, File folders, etc.) for assignment information. Everything is in one place which makes it so much easier to manage our orders. Cons The Android application needs work. The Apple application seems good and could use a few tweaks (example: add a revision to a file from my iPhone). Cons The mobile app is a little less readable and is very limited width wise for use with my iPad. Pros I really like the graphical user interface. It only took a couple of minutes to be up to speed and using the software. We are also using at as our electronic work file storage vault for completed appraisals. Cons I don't like that you can either get notifications every day or not at all. They have no urgency with any issues. AND you will have issues. There is no such thing as technical support- the first line customer service reps, have no clue how to provide support. They are nice people, but everything...and I do mean everything has to be handed off to a "developer" - which by the way, may or may not ever get back with you. Pros I like some of the admin and invoicing functionality. Cons The Nexus form filler software is a disgrace. It looks pretty, but it doesn't function well...and there is no support for it. Pros I can appreciate all the bells and whistles that this website provides for someone. But I use this for receiving appraisal orders only. Cons It's too busy. There is no tutorial on how to navigate this system for appraisers. There doesn't appear to be a simple way of accepting an order or declining an order. It is full of problems. So sad to see UWM is trying to use them and it is a mess. Cons Difficult to navigate, require multiple folks cancel to get it out of the system, when a job is bid it does not upgrade in the system and they pay wrong amount, folks on phone not friendly.
