We have been using HeartCount across several companies within our group of companies, and it has proven to be a practical and reliable tool for gathering employee feedback. What I appreciate most is how easy it is to use: both for employees and for managers. The platform makes it simple to collect regular feedback and gives clear visibility on engagement and sentiment across teams. It also supports more continuous conversations, rather than one-time surveys, which is something we find particularly valuable in a dynamic environment. Overall, it helps us stay closer to what people actually experience day to day and make more informed decisions.

Pros

Cons

There is still room to further enrich the analytics and make some insights more actionable. Pros

It helps us stay connected with employee sentiment on a weekly basis, providing continuous insight into how employees are feeling and enabling us to respond in a timely manner, initiate conversations with them, and take actionable steps that are meaningful for both employees and the company.

Cons

What we appreciate is that not everyone is inclined to participate in surveys, which is why we continuously explore different approaches to encourage engagement. However, it is also important to prioritize the quality of insights over simply the number of responses.

HeartCount has made it much easier to spot risks early and take meaningful action before issues grow. The platform gives us clear signals when something is shifting in the team, and the recommendations have directly contributed to stronger stability and higher retention. It’s helped us stay ahead of burnout and disengagement in a way we couldn’t before. Overall, it’s a tool that genuinely supports keeping teams healthy and key employees engaged.

Pros

After implementing some team-level actions that the AI feature has recommended, our retention increased by more than 30%. Also, the “People at Risk” feature prevented us from losing two important people this year.

Cons

At the beginning, a few employees assumed every comment required an immediate reply or fix. Although it isn’t a direct tool problem, it can put pressure on HR people if they don’t communicate it from the beginning. It would be great if the expectations were already set within the comments' sections.

Cons

People complain it takes time to open emails or log in, so a mobile app would make them respond instantly.

Overall great. Easy tool that makes collecting and understanding feedback, seamless, easy and part of our culture.

Pros

It’s by far the simplest HR tool I have used so far, it’s three different questions every week and takes just two minutes to complete. I also like that all employees get to see quarterly reports, so we all see the changes, not just filling out surveys for nothing. We get honest feedback from people, and we see their performance improve when they feel their voices are heard. We also love the custom surveys for small engagement-boosting things like choosing team-building activities

Cons

No flexibility on survey launch. Some employees happen to be on long weekend trips when surveys launch (Fridays). It would be great if each company could choose the exact time when the check-in is sent.

Reasons for choosing HeartCount

The price point suited our organization size and HR budget. We still needed to prove ROI for the tool so it was important that it suited our immediate needs but wasn’t a full Hr suite that cost astronomically or had extra features we would never use. Heartcount’s pricing was simple and didn’t require upselling or add-ons for everything we needed

HeartCount is now an inevitable tool in our organization. It gives us clear, data-driven visibility into how our teams are really doing, especially during heavy project cycles. People feel safe sharing honest feedback via this tool because it is anonymous and our team discussions have become more solution-oriented. The anonymous comments in particular helped us catch issues we would have missed before.

Pros

The insights help us see which team members might be struggling during heavy project cycles. Instead of relying on intuition and one-on-ones, we now have clear indicators of stress, motivation, and communication gaps across the organization.

Cons

We would benefit from additional export formats to share insights with our partnering organizations.

Best description for this is that, through using HeartCount, we added the response rate and well-being score into monthly KPIs for managers, as it's easy to monitor. It completely changed the way they communicate with teams. People feel heard and more motivated to be proactive. Some of them have proposed interesting initiatives or issues to be solved since we started using the tool.

Pros

It gives us real-time feedback from our hybrid teams. Managers say they finally understand what is happening with their remote people.

Cons

I think the platform is nice, but some of my team members mentioned the UI could look more modern - not a big issue, but worth mentioning.

Heartcount is user-friendly for both employee and admin roles. It gives a good indication of the trend of employee dissatisfaction from week to week. Heartcount works regularly on new and improved functionalities that enhance the user experience.

Cons

Flexibility in using reports. However, Heartcount has been working a lot lately on these functionalities.

The platform has passed through several positive changes over the past two years and had always being user-friendly. Although I wasn't part of the implementation process, the swift, accessible, and resourceful customer support has resonated over time. Whether I use it on a weekly or daily basis, the platform allows me to closely monitor the mood of our employees efficiently. Its quick and time-efficient solution is particularly appealing, and I'm eager to explore ways to engage more employees in submitting praises and feedback. What stands out to me is Heartcount's dedication to continuous improvement, actively seeking feedback from users like me to enhance its features. As both a user and admin, I find satisfaction in both roles. The consistent recognition with the People First award annually underscores the platform's substantial support for the business and our team. The structured and informative nature of the weekly emails, reports, and other communications from Heartcount significantly contributes to the overall positive experience.

Cons

While my overall experience with Heartcount has been positive, there was one aspect that was not entirely clear to me for a considerable period, specifically the awarding process. However, I'm pleased to note that there has been progress in clarifying this aspect, and I appreciate the improvement. Another area that I initially found lacking was key account care, but that it is now adequately covered. It's worth mentioning that my collaboration with Heartcount has been excellent, and I am currently very satisfied with the platform. In summary, Heartcount is effectively addressing challenges related to employee engagement, communication, and recognition processes. It provides us with a tool that supports a proactive, data-driven approach to workforce management. The timely feedback allows us to take immediate action, aligning well with our company value of 'transparency.'
