It was quick and painless. The pricing is awesome - saving me money not using Quickbooks. I am a small business not needing all the bells and whistles of a major brand. All I need is estimates, invoices, and payment processing. Bingo! Cons Only thing so far is when sending estimates/invoices to customers. The email you create doesn't count your Return/Enter characters. It is just one large paragraph. I see this getting fixed in later updates. Reason for choosing Invoice Crowd There were good reviews on AppSumo. Even thought the platform allows creating recurring invoices, this are not sent automatically to the client. I consider this feature to be a must have. - Email templates. You can send invoices to clients by email from the platform but need to write the text manually everytime. Not possible to save an email template. - For recurring invoices you can schedule them monthly but you have to manually select the day of the month. I miss having an option to select the last day of the month. I consider this a must have feature. - Attach invoices as a PDF to the emails and track emails opened instead of invoices opened - Conditional tags for email templates (i.e. name, company name, invooice number, invoice amount...) I am hoping that this software succeeds and gets developed into a full fledged contender in the accounting software world because the user experience is just so intuitive I don't want to go back to anything else I've tried. Pros It's so intuitive that it took less than 15 minutes for me to have a test invoice sent, and I didn't have to change anything about it at all, everything just works. Cons There are a few other tidbits of development that I'd like to see fast tracked, like more options for automatic payment reminders and recurring invoice timing (I need every 2 weeks which isn't an option yet). I haven't seen enough of their process to be confident that all my wants will be fulfilled, so I can't speak to developmental pace or confidence that my all wildest invoicing and accounting dreams will come true. For one, while it does have bank integration, it took them 3 years to role out the option to attach images or files to bank transactions. They did eventually do it, but one would think that'd be an early step to take in the development of accounting software. What finally pushed me over the edge, away from a free option, in Wave they don't have the option of sending automated email receipts for one off invoices and they seem to be recalcitrant about it, refusing to developing it even though people have been asking for it since 2018... Huh. At any rate, I can live without bank reconciliation in my invoicing software, but it would be really nice to have. Review Source AL Ari L. I found it very intuitive to use, similar to using an iPhone. I was able to get my business setup, from scratch, in less than 5 min. I love this software and would highly recommend it to any entrepreneur looking to get their books organized, without having to learn a new skill. I searched and found Invoice Crowd, which has been the perfect solution. I was able to purchase Invoice Crowd, set up my business profile, add client profiles, integrate my payment options, add my own brand colors and logos, and create several invoices within minutes of joining. I'm pretty amazed at how easy they have made it. I researched many invoicing systems and this by far was exactly what I was looking for in order to get invoices out with a quick turnaround. I'd highly recommend it. Pros I love how I can provide discounts, customize the invoices with extra sections and text, as well as track expenses in addition to those invoiced. Cons Would love to see the links to the online payment options automatically added to the .pdf version of the invoice. As of now, I was able to manually add them so they show up when printed which is needed for company's who merely forward the pdf version of the invoice to their accounting departments rather than forward the original email that includes the links to payment gateways. Reason for choosing Invoice Crowd I chose Invoice Crowd over these alternative products because of the modern and user-friendly dashboard. As small business owner I’m already busy as is. i don't need complicated software. currently using quickbook desktop which is really good but it's not online. and i was going to sign up for quickbook subscription and found this on app sumo. really happy with it so far. I love the fact that i don't need my computer to check my financials. i can do it anytime and anywhere. Would be great if in the future it app with ability to take receipt this will be my only feedback. I am so happy I get a chance to get this lifetime subscription. March 16, 2022 5.0 Pros So I was doing invoicing the hard way; creating an invoice in Canva, editing it each time for the month, and then emailing it to the client. This was cumbersome and bleh. I really hadn't thought of using any other method until a new client wanted to pay with a credit card. OOPS! So I went to AppSumo to see if I could get some help and low and behold, Invoice Crowd came to my rescue. You can connect Stripe payments, Card Connect, and PayPal which was perfect for me! It was super easy to set up each new customer and to also customize my invoice template. The emails are pretty straightforward and nice looking. This has really saved me a lot of time and I feel so "official" using it lol. This is an easy decision, just do it!
