Documentation is faster, more consistent, and more complete. The voice recognition adapts well to our team’s speaking styles, and the transcription accuracy is very reliable. It has helped our practice operate more efficiently while maintaining thorough and accurate medical records. We highly recommend Talkatoo for practices looking to improve productivity and streamline documentation. Pros Talkatoo has significantly increased our efficiency and improved our medical record keeping immensely over the past year. The voice recognition and transcription accuracy are excellent, even with detailed medical terminology. It saves our doctors a tremendous amount of time on documentation, allowing them to focus more on patient care. Customer support has also been very responsive and helpful whenever we have had questions. Overall, it provides excellent value for the cost. Cons There can occasionally be minor corrections needed, as with any voice recognition software, but overall accuracy has been very strong and continues to improve with use. As a specialist reviewing records can be time consuming reading out the pertinent parts of a record saves a lot of time. Cons Still working on some of that nuances of the program. Talkatoo has an excellent support staff to help us with any technical questions or issues that may arise. Pros It is nice to be able fill out the patient record immediately after the appointment with just a few minutes of transcribing to the App. The notes are stored in the inbox until we have time to input them. Then, it only takes a few seconds for the staff or myself to proofread and insert into our practice software. It is helping us stay current with our written patient records. It is also nice that the custom templates can be as detailed and as long as needed to meet our needs. I also really like the "Call Summary" for our patient communications... that is a huge time saver. Cons There was a bit of a learning curve for us. I didn't really know what to expect. We have a strictly equine practice, so we had to make multiple custom templates to meet our needs, but the Talkatoo support staff was very eager to help with that. I think there is room for improvement both on Talkatoo's side and with user error. However, I think with time it will be much easier. Pros It makes record keeping easier, faster, and more accurate. It prevents staff from forgetting important details from the case. Cons The difficulty editing files, especially in regards to custom templates and minor repetitive mistakes. I love Jamie’s training videos. Sometimes you don’t really know what to ask specifically and he goes over so many things that are helpful. Pros Talkatoo saves me so much time but also improves the quality of my medical records. Nothing gets left out and not having to rely on my recall is gold! There are many features beyond that which improve my records and patient care like medical summaries. Cons The AI is very good, but you still have to read it and tweak some things, it it define eats doing it all! They're always improving the technology & have been useful. Pros The technology runs seamlessly overall. It helps improve my efficiency greatly on a daily basis. I utilize it for callbacks, emails, summaries, SOAP notes, & create your own prompt; for example, "Please summarize the following dental radiograph findings into a bulleted list". This has helped me so much with efficiency going from a 3.5 doctor practice to a 1.5 doctor practice with some relief vets. Cons N/A. They're always innovating & open to feedback with improvements. This an amazing app where it can be tailored to each individual. Pros The Transcription accuracy is amazing and and filters out all the unnecessary conversations. Also you can go back and listen to the recordings. Cons The amount of money depending on the number of doctors. Would love to see a feature where practice managers can use is for meetings.
