My Overall experience with UKG Ready was very poor. I often found myself being tossed from person to person, to try to solve any issues within the software. The prices were raised every year. There is no accountability from the software representatives when file errors occur on their end. This platform is not user friendly for managers or employees.

Pros

My favorite thing about UKG Ready is the UKG community. It's a platform to connect with other HR professionals and ask questions. This is where I found most of the answers to any issues I was having with the system.

Cons

Payment Services. The payment services portion of this software was not great. We had issues with taxes, paying employees on time and W2 generation.

Overall, it’s a solid all-in-one platform. It has a bit of a learning curve and can feel clunky at times, but having HR, payroll, and time tracking all in one place has ultimately made managing our daily tasks much more efficient.

Pros

I love having everything in one place. Being able to check my schedule, request PTO, and view my paystubs all from the same app makes things incredibly easy.

Cons

The mobile app can be glitchy. It frequently logs me out, loads slowly, or struggles to register clock-ins accurately if the cell service isn't perfect.

I like how easy it is to use to enter my time and save the time that I have completed entering until I am ready to submit it. I also like to run reports on my leave balances every month.

Pros

I liked how easy it is to use the UKG app to submit my leave requests and to enter my time every week.

Cons

The UKG app does not show the leave that I have submitted for the week on my timesheet until it is approved.

At the time our organization used iCIMs with UKG my role was as primarily an Onboarding Manager, but because of my systems, reporting and analytics background I was often asked to pull reporting for our \[sensitive content hidden\] and this is where my experience with UKG was gained.

Pros

I liked the customizability of the UKG setup and reporting. Once you learned the system and how to move around, there were really a lot of things you could do to customize it to better fit the needed operations.

Cons

UKG was not user-friendly. I had to do GOOGLE searches and watch YouTube videos to learn their reporting features.

Pros

UKG Ready is convenient for checking schedules, requesting time off, swapping shifts, and clocking in or out from a mobile device.

Cons

The app can occasionally lag, crash, or have login issues, and notifications are not always reliable. Some features can also be confusing to navigate, especially after updates.

Overall, my experience with UKG Ready has been positive. It has helped improve efficiency in managing HR tasks, scheduling, payroll, and employee records in a more organized way. The platform offers a lot of useful tools that support day-to-day workforce management and reduce administrative workload. Although there are occasional technical issues and some parts of the system take time to learn, the overall functionality and convenience make it a valuable solution for HR operations. Once users become familiar with the platform, it becomes much easier to navigate and use effectively in daily work environments.

Pros

What I liked most about UKG Ready is that it combines multiple HR functions into one centralized system, making daily operations much more efficient. The time tracking and scheduling tools are particularly helpful because they reduce manual errors and make it easier to manage employee attendance and shifts. Payroll integration also saves a lot of time and helps simplify processing. I also appreciate that employees can access their schedules, pay information, and requests through self-service features, which improves communication and transparency. Cons

My overall experience with UKG ready now has been great honestly, it's east and convenient and My supervisor can always go back in and edit the time if need be.

Pros

I like the ease of using it, I feel like it is much easier to use now that they have had an update on a desktop and a phone! It's so much better now!

Cons

My least favorite thing about UKG Ready, is the application itself won't let you see ahead and "guess" on what your PTO will be like a week out.
