I also like to run reports on my leave balances every month. Pros I liked how easy it is to use the UKG app to submit my leave requests and to enter my time every week. Cons The UKG app does not show the leave that I have submitted for the week on my timesheet until it is approved. AVP, Human Resources Financial Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "What was sold to what was given" November 4, 2025 3.0 Overall it is a better experience than our last HRIS but I was disappointed with what we were told we would have compared to the product we received. Pros Functionality first. It was one of the reasons we decided to move to UKG over our last HRIS. Reporting is more robust, timekeeping is more seamless, and customer support is quick with responding and setting up times to troubleshoot. Payroll is a much quicker process. Cons Implementation was less than ideal. We were sold product or oversold product that would have at least basic functionality for the product. Once we implemented we were told any additions come with a cost to us. An example of this is in the ATS portion of the ATS. The ATS does not track the sourcing location of a candidate and where they come from as all is listed as UKG. We were told in order to track that, we had to ask candidates to report that or pay more money to get it tracked, however, that is a basic function of any ATS and should not cost extra. The system should be smart enough to track where the candidate came from. The performance management model feels very dated. Switched from [ADP Workforce Now](https://www.capterra.com/p/155895/WorkforceNow/) We had a rough go with ADP. I spent months (almost a year) trying to get ADP to help us update and I never got any answers. I was setup with 9 different demos as an existing customer and eventually they shut us off. We had tickets open for a year with no one to help us. Our Rep only would help with Payroll, but Payroll was awful and full of mistakes ran by the system. February 26, 2026 5.0 Overall UKG Ready is a good application all things considered, even with it's flaws and shortcomings. Pros I really like all the features in UKG Ready and it's easy-to-use interface. It's an all-in-one platform and has so many uses. Pros Easy to use and navigate. Convenient to use the mobile app and adjust schedules as needed and check time sheets. Cons Although it is convenient, there were various times that it was unusable due to server errors or the server being down. I wish we didn't move providers and stayed with what we had. The payroll features are horrible and have tons of bugs and don't make a lot of sense. I don't think someone with real life payroll experience created this system. Its more features for HR but even those features have tons of bugs. Way to much manual input and not alot of great data. Pros They state they have so many features but they don't function properly - lots of data but the reports don't work great. Cons We moved from Paycor thinking we would get all these upgrades - they over promise and under deliver - lots of bugs and no one seems to know how to fix things. Pros UKG Ready is a powerful App that allows you to track, Monitor and use its Timeclock functions from an easy to navigate app Cons The App updates frequently and loses all of the log in credentials. I have also found very helpful, the availability of viewing overall compensation in various formats for different learning styles and uses. Whether looking at a decade, or a week, this tool allows users to make important financial decisions. Cons The absence of the ability to notate punches for the user.
