July 6, 2026 5.0 UKG (the web experience) used to have a clunky, old interface and it was difficult to navigate, but now it looks nice, it's quick, and it's easy to find things! Their AI bot helps direct you to the right page or resource. The mobile and web integration is nice. Pros What I like most about UKG Ready is that the app allows you use your mobile device to clock in and out and request time off. Cons Since UKG revamped its site and interface, I can't think of much to say against it. UKG Pro (the web experience) used to be a clunky, old interface and difficult to navigate, but now it looks nice, it's quick, and it's easy to find things! Review Source JS Joy S. We came from another provider with awful customer service, so it was great to be able to get the help we needed. Pros It is a great value for the money. Customer support is great, if they don't fix it, the case will not close until you are satisfied. It is also very customizable. Cons There are some weird one off issues that cannot be explained by the support team. However, they do fix it but cannot tell you what/how it happened. I also with UKG was more user friendly for people that do not do well with computers. AVP, Human Resources Financial Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "What was sold to what was given" November 4, 2025 3.0 Overall it is a better experience than our last HRIS but I was disappointed with what we were told we would have compared to the product we received. Pros Functionality first. It was one of the reasons we decided to move to UKG over our last HRIS. Reporting is more robust, timekeeping is more seamless, and customer support is quick with responding and setting up times to troubleshoot. Payroll is a much quicker process. Cons Implementation was less than ideal. We were sold product or oversold product that would have at least basic functionality for the product. Once we implemented we were told any additions come with a cost to us. An example of this is in the ATS portion of the ATS. The ATS does not track the sourcing location of a candidate and where they come from as all is listed as UKG. We were told in order to track that, we had to ask candidates to report that or pay more money to get it tracked, however, that is a basic function of any ATS and should not cost extra. The system should be smart enough to track where the candidate came from. The performance management model feels very dated. Switched from [ADP Workforce Now](https://www.capterra.com/p/155895/WorkforceNow/) We had a rough go with ADP. I spent months (almost a year) trying to get ADP to help us update and I never got any answers. I was setup with 9 different demos as an existing customer and eventually they shut us off. We had tickets open for a year with no one to help us. Our Rep only would help with Payroll, but Payroll was awful and full of mistakes ran by the system. April 7, 2026 5.0 Excellent...we have been a customer since 2017 and I would not change for anything. Their support is tremendous and we love the fact that the entire user experience is in one system. Pros All in one software as a service which allows us to customize to fit our needs and scalable as we continue to grow. The app is also great and allows our employees flexibility to move from one job to another. Their customer support is fantastic and we usually get quick turnaround for any issues we may have. Cons The only con is really around the additional cost for modules like the LMS or the AI tools. It hinders us as a nonprofit to be able to utilize some of these tools. We have not found any use case their team was not able to find a solution for. Pros The platform can do just about anything you need for business. Customer support is very good and normally find our problem fairly quickly once they are engaged. The platform is good about releasing details of issues and bugs so that you can determine if a case is required or not. Cons The platform can do just about anything you need - while that is also a positive in my survey, the availability of so many options can be a challenge if not mapped out properly. Very helpful when we do have issues and work hard to communicate with us. Pros Ability to communicate with staff continuously. Use of tabs on the home page to bring new ideas and reach our employees. Cons Small hiccups. Things work one week but not the next. Call pay & Holidays in Radiology and lab are still not correct. (We are equally at fault for not following up to get them corrected). FMLA - would love to get FMLA to work correctly, just does not track in Ready. The checklist for payroll or quarter end work are super helpful. Cons The one thing I like least about UKG Ready is that customer service is is outsourced and sometimes there is a language barrier. Customer Service is lacking & it takes forever regarding integrated files for vendors to be set up and work as they should. Pros Easy to use. Reporting ability. Being able to auto email reports weekly, monthly, and yearly to yourself, others, as well as outside vendors as needed. Cons Customer Service. It could be better. We are fairly new clients to the platform. But based upon our previous experiences with other HRIS over the last 10 years - we are finally in a happy place. We still have a few hiccups here and there that we are working on- but overall, we are excited about the plans we have envisioned for our staff using UKG. Pros The ability to customize different modules to fit our company needs. I truly love the Reports. I thought ADP had the best reports until we implemented UKG. Cons Right now, we are having serious issues with GL Module (grant allocations) and our payroll JE. I'm happy that UKG has an integration with NetSuite. UKG is the first HRIS that has allowed us to integrate our NetSuite software. Our payroll JE has been on an Excel spreadsheet for DECADES and we were required to copy one line at a time into NetSuite... couldn't import the JE. The customer service is also very helpful and quick with responses. Pros The payroll processing is seamless and it is very simple to look at time cards and fix mistakes or add PTO to a day. It shows you each area of the time off you have accumulated and not just a generic message. Cons It was very difficult to get to the benefit section or figure out how to edit your time that was already added. It is simple to fix the time card but getting to the section needed was confusing. I can check my timesheet and correct it with ease as well as make sure it has been submitted. Pros The interface is very user friendly even for beginner users. It is easy to check and correct your timesheet as well as using to clock in on mobile. Cons Loading time on mobile can take a bit longer than I would like when trying to clock in quickly which can be a bit of an issue. The dashboard that shows your schedule/time off/ etc is a one stop shop for viewing the most pertinent info. Cons Some things can be difficult to find.
