Pros UKG Ready is a user-friendly HRM and payroll system. It provides accurate, real-time employee timesheets, which makes it easier to review and manage time tracking. Cons Maybe every new update changes that system’s features. It’s good, but once you get used to how it works, the next update can make it feel like you have to learn everything all over again. It has greatly enhanced the user experience. Pros We use Ready for our timekeeping system. We really appreciate the system’s capabilities, and both employees and managers love how easy it is to use. We previously used UTM, and switching to Ready has been a major advancement for our timekeeping. Cons We recently had an acquisition that will not be on our payroll until 1/1/2027, so we did not turn on WFM option for them when we brought them into UKG. It would be nice to have a way to import the fields for WFM at a later date. Pros I like that UKG Ready keeps everything in one place. It makes it easy to clock in and out, check my hours, view my schedule, and request time off. Pros It is good value for money, tracks time easily, helps keep track of schedule and helps in editing the schedule, make request or changes to the schedule, etc. Another thing is it isactually pretty easy to use and straightforward. Cons The cons of it are that there are bugs and issues with the app in general a lot of times. Sometimes the customization to edit the schedule isn't working properly, sometimes it is not recording the time properly. The other issues that arrise with it is although it provides a lot of help for scheduling, it lacks in the the finer details of it. Their support is tremendous and we love the fact that the entire user experience is in one system. Pros All in one software as a service which allows us to customize to fit our needs and scalable as we continue to grow. The app is also great and allows our employees flexibility to move from one job to another. Their customer support is fantastic and we usually get quick turnaround for any issues we may have. I often found myself being tossed from person to person, to try to solve any issues within the software. The prices were raised every year. There is no accountability from the software representatives when file errors occur on their end. This platform is not user friendly for managers or employees. Pros My favorite thing about UKG Ready is the UKG community. It's a platform to connect with other HR professionals and ask questions. This is where I found most of the answers to any issues I was having with the system. Cons Payment Services. The payment services portion of this software was not great. We had issues with taxes, paying employees on time and W2 generation. We have not found any use case their team was not able to find a solution for. Pros The platform can do just about anything you need for business. Customer support is very good and normally find our problem fairly quickly once they are engaged. The platform is good about releasing details of issues and bugs so that you can determine if a case is required or not. Cons The platform can do just about anything you need - while that is also a positive in my survey, the availability of so many options can be a challenge if not mapped out properly. Very helpful when we do have issues and work hard to communicate with us. Pros Ability to communicate with staff continuously. Use of tabs on the home page to bring new ideas and reach our employees. Cons Small hiccups. Things work one week but not the next. Call pay & Holidays in Radiology and lab are still not correct. (We are equally at fault for not following up to get them corrected).
