Pros The reporting features are great. You can auto schedule reports to send and navigating through the software is easy. Cons There seem to be a lot of communication problems. Things you would expect to be linked aren't and it is designed by software developers and not end users. They are updating the software frequently so you log in one day and everything has changed. Pros We recently shifted to kronos from excel timekeeping. This has made life so much easier. Now we don't need to submit time sheets. It is also easy to apply for leave through this software and the scheduler functionality of the Kronos makes it much easier to punch in and out. Cons The user interface of this software is not intuitive. It is difficult to understand. The mobile application is easier to use than the web application. It would be amazing if the UI of the web application matches that of the mobile application it would be an amazing application for timekeeping. Review Source KD Karie D. What started out as a "HR" software that "HR was stuffing down our throats" has turned into a great tool used by the entire organization. Many team leaders are now taking time to look through Kronos to see what other processes they could put into Kronos so that we can go more paperless. We call it "electronifying" our processes. Pros I like how Kronos is continually investing in improvements and enhanced features. I love that clients get to vote on items in the Community and that we can see what's coming down the pike. Cons I'd like the job aids to be in an editable format so that I could add to them with more company specific information. Currently, the pdfs aren't editable so I use them as a guide to get me started on created my own. We'd really like a project management solution. We looked at the Scheduler module but it does not allow for the tracking of projects or scheduling of equipment, only employees. Review Source Kaila E. September 26, 2017 4.0 Continue to improve the system and we will be long term customers! Pros The use of the system and reporting functionality are pretty easy to learn. Benefits setup is really nice and I am eager to see how ACA works for 2017. Our implementation specialists have been pretty good and attentive. I like how you get the same support specialists repeatedly as they begin to understand your company and can relate to ongoing issues you have. Cons The wait time on some cases is not always the greatest. I wish there was more functionality with the custom columns with reporting and also creating one line reports for payroll purposes. Some features are not as diverse as we expected such as the HR action items, no option to print if you use electronic option. Workforce Ready is a proven, reliable solution that allows us to apply our specific payroll policies to the systematic platform--thus eliminating the risk of human calculation error. Our experience has been very positive. Pros The functionality to calculate break times, holiday pay, and unique company-specific pay-policies across our departments. The mobile clock in/out functionality on the app is also helpful for employees that work remotely. Easy to add new employees to the time clock or mobile access. Cons Sometimes difficult to add new managers. Manager visibility of mobile clocking in / out of employees (need alerts to the manager). Also, the call-back delay to speak with a help desk rep can be annoying. Reason for choosing UKG Ready Current industry utilization. I've seen the name used at well-respected, large organizations that have already done the research. The system is pretty user friendly and you can access it from your mobile device. I use it to manage my timesheet and ensure my accruals for paid time off are being tracked. The system syncs with other programs for payroll and communication purposes. April 3, 2019 4.0 The software is a good product that provides a lot of options. I'm able to process my payroll timely and with minimal problems. Pros This software has A LOT of flexibility and functionality! There are endless ways to do things, and the reporting is amazing. So much ability to customize the reports to what you need/want. Cons It tends to be glitchy at times, and sometimes there is slowness within the software. I find the response time with customer support isn't always great either. That is by far the best feature of this software, especially on the log in page that contains the "Clock in" and "Clock out" buttons right there. Cons The request time off interface seems too busy and is difficult to understand. But the over all learning process is great ! Once you get it, there is more that will tie into the one thing that you learned about that day. You have to explore and get into the process and you will see that Kronos has a lot to offer. When our company first signed on with kronos we were just using the timekeeping module and later we signed on to use the payroll module, and Wow that opened up a lot of what Kronos can accomplish, We are a company with a lot of different issues that a normal company would not have. But Kronos was able to accommodate us with our needs. They have a great support team (The Application Consultant) (Technical Support team). Pros I like the way this product ties in and gives you what you need. You can create any kind of report. Cons I am a little disappointed in the timely status of customer service getting back to you when you call or put a ticket in through the kronos community. Sometimes you need to know something at a moments notice and we don't have the option to get that answer right away. I think there should be different levels of customer service techs. However, customer support and follow-up has not been a pleasant experience. After implementation and the transition to customer support, I feel we were thrown to the wolves. There is no follow-up available from the project manager who built our system to offer any assistance with updates that come about. Basically, what is built is built is how I feel. We are not in the software business, and I feel it is key to have that support to be able to provide tips and tricks based on updates and new features that come about. Pros Recruiting and Onboarding have made our hiring process much easier. Cons It is not user friendly from the employee side or the administrator side. September 20, 2018 4.0 Pros Clocking in before and clocking out after your work hours is the main role of Kronos workforce. It is efficient and user friendly. But it's way more than a time stamp tracker. You can access your vacation credits, request for one, track it and link it to your schedule viewer. You can approve and review your time card, payroll cannot process your time card unless you approve it. It assures that discrepancies can be fixed before it moves forward. It has tons of features, i don't think i can cover everything in one go. Cons Some of my coworkers advised that they can access the clock-in capability of the program outside our closed network. I understand that it's web based but this might cause integrity issues. I'm not sure if that featured can be tailored to be locked out if your not logged in the company's network. " February 15, 2018 4.0 Pros I liked the time caps it gave and the layout of the timesheets. I was able to navigate my specific time count easily and make changes if necessary with ease. Cons I didn't really like the tabs; I could easily assume that certain features were under many tabs. I wish it were more specific but I assume that could be adjusted if needed. Pros Their customer support is very knowledgeable, patient and friendly. It gets our staff of 300+ paid every other week and prepares the files to export for taxes. It has features (Like HR capabilities) that lookhelpful, but we have not implemented them. Cons I was not with this company when Kronos was set up in 2014. What I've heard is Workforce Ready was a program purchased by Kronos, not developed by Kronos and we were one of the first healthcare facilities to use it. The initial set ups were not done in an efficient manner, leading to some cumbersome processes. We have found work arounds for issues. My hope is that 5 years later the implementation process runs smoothly and the experienced staff knows the tricks for success. Review Source CW Corey W. This product would get a much better rating if the overall quality with things like that and automated reporting for our needs would make me rate it higher. Pros The system itself for payroll purposes is very easy to use and manipulate. Reporting for the most part is simple. Cons They sell you on how easily you can customize, however this was not what we have witnessed. Setting up an automated report can generally be simple, but doing a simple birthday pull monthly cannot be automated due to limited options within the product. Review Source WG Wendy G. Vacation tracking is also very simple to use. Cons Reporting is too complicated. Extracting data that Kronos is collecting should be more user friendly. I also wish that there were more HR functions available. For example, I formerly worked for a large corporation who used Luas & Clark. Not only did it keep time, but it allowed us to keep employee records (coaching/counselling etc.) besides just attendance in one place that was accessible to those who needed access. It didn't take long at all to figure out and get my payroll information plugged in for my academy to pay me. Pros As a part-time teacher for an online academy, this system made it so clear, that it was like being at a brick-and-mortar school. It's real easy to find what I need, particularly in terms of tax information and paycheck details. Cons At least from my end, there aren't a lot of bells and whistles. Payroll Clerk Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Exceptional Time keeping" October 2, 2018 5.0 General note to anyone considering Workforce Ready: We have been using this product since 2012. I seldom need to contact Support for assistance as this product tends to work great with minimal problems. When I have reached out for assistance the staff has done a great job resolving problems in a timely manner. You can expect a great product, courteous and professional service. Pros We have a wide variety of pay codes and rules. We have built in overtime, shift differentials, Differentials for field training, etc. I have worked with other software programs and Workforce Ready is a program that has been extremely accurate for time keeping. Workforce is one of the best software programs I have worked on for payroll. It is easy to use and understand. Cons The only issue I have encountered is when I have employees with multiple codes that fall on a holiday. An example would be: Patrol Officer, who is an FTO while working a holiday. Some hours just don't move over to payroll. However I understand the problem because we are "over-loading" the program with multiple codes. Review Source LJ Lindsay J. It has been such a help to have the one-on-one help of the Kronos implementation team. We couldn't have done it without them. We are in the transition stage, which has also been very helpful. Overall, we are excited for the possibilities of what we can do with KWR, but still learning where things are, and the differences of how to complete tasks compared to our old processor. Pros I like the idea of customization of the different pages. I like the centralized information found on the employee information page. Cons I dislike that it doesn't have the same features across the whole software. Some reports can pull any columns into the report, and some reports don't have certain columns. It makes for a lot of jumping from report to report. It would be much easier and more convenient if you could generate the same columns into different reports. The other thing that we have disliked is the lack of customization on the dashboard. Review Source Christina D. December 7, 2018 4.0 I'm not really using it to solve problems but have used it as an associate and as a manger but it does work well for the companies needs. Pros The system is easy to navigate whether you are on a phone through their app or on the computer. Cons There are parameters set by the company using the software and instead of alerting you that you can't do something right away it let's you go through it all before telling you that so you waste time.
