Easy reports are easy to customize. Cons Implementation is awful. They do not send any reps on site to help with implementation. Reports that require Kronos assistance take forever to receive. The on-line time entry for employees works very well. Pros The Workforce Ready system is extremely user friendly and easy to run canned or custom reports. Cons It would be helpful to have a feature in the software when an employee misses an in or out punch, that would highlight the error for the Manager as necessary to fix prior to the end of the payroll week. Reason for choosing UKG Ready The flexibility of the software, competitive price and Kronos registered in the System for Award Management system, which was a requirement for our Company to issue a purchase order for the Time & Attendance system. The implementation process was so easy and customized for us. I like how much I can customize reports for my business needs. Cons It can be a bit clunky for the end user. Also, wish there was more consistency across all parts of the software. For example, I'd like to be able to pull a tag in from an employee record for different types of reports, sometimes something will be available under benefits but not under employee information even thought it relates to the employee. Pros Clocking in and out made easy remotely by phone and compatible with my firm’s VPN. Cons The fact that I have to clock in! However it’s made easier and quicker. Creating reports is great. I like options to expand sections or reduce section I don't want to see. Cons Date issues, it seems that Kronos has problems with effective dates and pay dates. The systems clearly and simply displays the clock in/clock out functions. Pros It is simple to clock in and out every day. Upon logging in, you are taken to the main page where you can punch in and out. That makes it easy and quick to do this task. Cons It is hard to view certain information and reports. For example, you have to "view reports" in order to tell how much remaining time off hours you have. The system has a very roundabout way to view this information. Review Source AR Andrew R. We had to integrate with Taleo for onboarding to fit our needs, and also a custom solution for an LMS. In terms of managing the employees data and handling timeclocks / timekeeping / payrolls, it does the job efficiently. Cons Too many customization options leads to a longer turn on process once you select their software. We've had their software for years and are still working on getting scheduler put in place. Every corporate document is within the system. The ease in which it allows us to perform Open Enrollment. The ACA reporting module is amazing. The best payroll system I have ever used. The implementation team does and excellent job training and setting up each module so that it functions exactly how you need it to. Pros I love how easy the payroll is processed. The ability to have all our time entries flow into payroll without issues is such a huge time saver. The continuous improvements and enhancements that Workforce Ready makes. Cons I least like the BSI module that is used for tax reporting. It is very difficult to use. It is a clunky system and does not make sense when trying maneuver through the software. Several items still are not working. Our implementation team was replaced with a new team mid-build. What was supposed to provide efficiency at every level of the organization has become a huge time sucker. After so much time to build, the program is a huge disappointment and frustration. Pros The hope of streamlined HR, Time and Attendance and Payroll. Vacation/sick accruals. Cons So many items don't work correctly. Our 'deal breaker' item that we were told the system could do, does not work and the implementation team has disappeared. The software is very 'clunky', there is inconsistency in the way things are done from one item to another. It is obvious the pieces were built by different people and then all put together with no uniformity. Reason for choosing UKG Ready It was an 'all inclusive' package and we were told it could do the items on our punch list - it does not. There are also different views such as weekly, monthly, and yearly. This is very helpful. I also like that you can change your schedule during the open block after you have saved and submitted it. Cons I would like there to be notifications so one knows when to input scheduling. When inputting a schedule there is one view and it is very confusing and not user friendly. While there may be a better option, I think it works fine for what our organization needs it for. Pros I can easily go in to edit employee time, enter PTO, vacation and more! It's not terribly hard to learn or pick up on. There is also training available. Cons Kronos, while working like a champ, is not visually the greatest. The blue and gray schemes get old very quickly. Also, it is pretty slow for software. Perhaps it is due to the sheer number of our employees, but it could be faster in my opinion. Super user friendly and simple. can be very customizable to your company. The comp I worked for before this had Kronos and it looked and worked differently than the company I am at now, which shows how customizable it is. Great time and attendance program that can be made exactly how you need it based off your companies needs Cons It has gone down a couple times now on the day supervisors need to approve timecards which was very inconvenient but they do keep you updated the whole time on when they are fixing it Review Source DJ Danny J. It has worked good and we are still playing with it to make it work its best. Cons I don't like that you have to click here and there just to get to where you want to be. " October 9, 2018 4.0 Overall we really like Kronos. There are just a couple things that would really help the SAS to be great - mainly making the user interface more intuitive and simplified. Pros Timekeeping works really well and does everything that we need for our business. Reporting functionality is really robust. Love it! Mobile app is getting better and better. Glad to see new hire paperwork on there now. Lots of good reporting options now that we're using the scheduler and timekeeping. Cons Workflows are difficult to build and the functionality can be limiting Advanced scheduler needs a lot of work. Too complicated for the end user - managers and employees. Makes it easy to approve payroll hours for your employees, too. Pros Everything an employee needs organized in one place, and easy for either an employee, their supervisor, or the HR admins to all use to serve their own needs. Cons They made it more difficult for employees to calculate how much PTO they will accrue by a certain date. Trainer Computer Software Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Kronos Workforce" April 13, 2019 4.0 I like that it's cloud base and I can check my schedule and paycheck from anywhere as long as I have my phone or computer near me. Great scheduling and payroll software! Pros I like how user friendly this software is and how easy it was to learn. I am able to view my schedule, hours worked and my paychecks from anywhere. I work part time so i like that I can log in and check my schedule at anytime. I can also log in to see my paycheck for that week and not have to wait on my check stub anymore. Cons I personally have not had any issues with Kronos.
