Pros It is helping us go paperless, look more professional, easy to find information, really helps me analyze employees pay, and all benefits in one system. Cons It would have been great if we could have imported more date and "rules" from WFC. There are a few items that can be improved on and our team has passed them along. I would strongly encourage organizations to use this when tracking information, training, etc. for employees. Pros The mobile-friendly ability is one of the best time management tools I have experienced in the health & wellness industry. I appreciate how my company has migrated many of the other tools we use into this platform; including communication, personal information updates, tech support issues, security issues, upcoming training, online training, seminars, etc. I really appreciate how modern the tools are. I would expect nothing but the best working at Lifetime Fitness. Cons I have had a few issues when I am locked out of my account. The process to unlock my account takes too much time to log back in. Human Resources Generalist Retail Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Workforce Ready" October 20, 2018 3.0 Cheat sheets for yearly maintenance items (i.e. ACA, Benefit Plans) would be invaluable! We do not touch these often so helpful hints/tips are needed (separate from the sea of documentation). Pros Kronos reporting is flexible, customization is decent in WFR. Team Members can see their personal information and make some changes. Easy to Unlock a user or rest password. Cons Security does not cross over different modules. Salary visibility is not structured the same in Scheduler, this is a huge problem allowing Managers, Asst Managers and Supervisors access to Scheduler. Service Provider Documentation in WFR is not user friendly, I can rarely find what I am looking for. Documentation is not laid out in a logical manner to search. Team Members have said making changes is confusing in part because buttons move all over the screen, consistency would be helpful. More training to keep up with the changes would be helpful. Last years' changes in Scheduler making Labor Levels and Skills mandatory was not a useful enhancement here. It made to original setup less useful (labor level 3 essentially needs to be removed). Configurable and easy to use for management level. Pros Easy to use for members and easy to configure when it comes to logging in and out during work shifts. Leave applications are available and visible for members as well. Total work hours displayed and members can summarize their total workhours in certain pay periods. Google for work integration is a great add on as well. Cons Too many features available for members to use which might result onmebers getting confused on what to do. Review Source KK Kevin K. Workforce Ready is easy to navigate. I enjoy the mass edit feature and the customization of the timesheets. The tables within the system are pretty easy to use and manage. Kronos Technical Support has always been very helpful. Cons Kronos Workforce Ready has a few areas where it can improve. One feature that I would love to see is a tool at the Company Administrator level that would allow a review to be moved to a another supervisor. Another item I would like to see improved upon is being able to bring all fields into all reports. There are some helpful reports that Kronos Workforce Ready allows you to run that are pre-made with some limits on customization. Being able to bring in a few key columns could be very helpful. Love that I can customize reports Cons The tax software Kronos uses -BSI. Not user friendly and felt like I took 10 steps backward when we switched. But it’s the only option Kronos gives unless you use their payroll service which we are not interested in doing. You can also organize for a long time ahead. I used it for my production technicians, which travel all around the world and all have different schedules and diffferent pay. It was great because it calculated the pay for everyone according to their job title and level in the company. Cons What I liked least about this software is that we have a really complicated salary scale and each year I have to upgrade it in the system, but I have to start from scratch everytime. Pros Kronos is a trusted and reliable vendor with a trusted product - you know what you are going to get from a Kronos product. Kronos has met our needs when it comes to a timekeeping software. Cons Kronos software (and maintenance and modifications) tend to be on the higher side when it comes to cost, but you do get what you pay for with the product and any customizations needed. I have seen this company do more things wrong than right especially from a Customer Service perspective. From 2013 to 2016 they sent out defective parts and expect some people to pay for their replacement services. I would literally go with anyone but Kronos from my personal experiences. Pros What I liked most about this software is that it makes an easy tracking system for employees to log hours and pay. It also makes it easy for them to track days out. Cons This software can be finicky. It is relatively easy to use but at times it can be challenging for employees to fix their time off if it is past the time or they forgot to clock in. It’s intuitive and easy to use. Easily switch Direct Deposit info, manage benefits, etc. it’s all laid out and easy to figure out. Cons There isn’t really a downside in my opinion. Company Admin Philanthropy Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Workforce Ready, great product" April 26, 2017 4.0 Overall I am really glad we switched over to WFR from WFC, it has made my job much easier as well as allowing new functionality that was not there before. Not having to wait on our internal Database Manager to update patches is nice, Kronos takes care of all that now. We have been on WFR a little over a year now and have been very happy with the product. Pros The reporting is much improved over Workforce Central with so much flexibility to customize reports. Love the ability to customize views for end users and the overall functionality to customize the program the way we need to use Kronos for our business without needing a lot of additional programming costs. Cons Response times are a bit slower than on Workforce Central but nothing that has caused business interruptions. There are some fields that are not options in some reports that I wish were there but we have found workarounds. Review Source AT ATHENA T.
