There is a steep learning curve when using this software if you're new to it. Pros Lots of functions available that lend themselves to scheduling large teams. The ability to group team department views for quick scheduling is handy. Cons Some functions can be overcomplicated which in turn requires more time in the software. Review Source CS Carl S. July 13, 2018 2.0 They need to hire a decent UI person to revamp the customer experience. Pros It opens on windows. It's capable of double verification using Okta. Not much else I really like about it. Cons Scheduling a vacation is so much more complicated than any system I have EVER used. They must have had a moron working on and approving the user interface. It fails to show when and where you have vacation time without some cryptic lookup. Then you end up double booking a vacation because it does not show it. Absolute royal pain to have to use this software. Such a time waster. The logging of daily hours is not much better. Review Source DL Dawnne L. The Kronos Community is a helpful tool and customer service is great. They are always quick to respond and help. Since it is rather new to me, I plan on getting the additional instruction that is offered. Cons We really have very few problems with it. Cons Using the system as a ATS - I found that setting up work flows was highly difficult and the webinar was hard to follow (different user at different level so stop and start and answering questions during the presentation made it hard to follow). Cons The calendar view for checking monthly staffing could be set up better to view. We would like to see (seconds) added to the time of submission for time off requests. Having been live for just over a year, we are still finding new and exciting ways that Workforce Ready is positively benefiting our company. Thanks! Pros Kronos workforce Ready is so much more advanced than our previous dinosaur system. The possibilities for improvement in functionality are very positive. A majority of the support team are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Cons There are still many common sense glitches to be corrected/updated. While I do like the Kronos community, certain problems with functionality should be directly prioritized without the recommended submission for review in the community. We get notifications ahead of time which allows us to plan accordingly. I have been on kronos for a long time and it has never gone down. Our servers have but not Kronos the program. Great investment. Pros It is soooooo easy to use. And the user guides walk you through step by step. You can not get any better than this. Cons Nothing, it is perfect and you just don't fix perfect. This is by far the best time keeping method for a large group such as ours. It helps to keep your team organised. Easy to make changes and updates. Cons The app has a different layout than the computer version. It makes a bit confusing to manage shifts and absences. November 23, 2018 5.0 I'd never heard of it before I joined the company for which I now work, but I will use it here on out for the rest of my working life. I really like it, and its ease of use and ability to have everything in one place is really useful. Pros Kronos is intuitive, easy to use, and reliable. I like that it keeps all of our employee information in one, easy to access place. I can check schedules, request time off, check accurals, make requests, and do everything I need to do. Cons When there are updates to the app and its related hardware (like the timeclock), we invariably can't use it for a day or two. That can be frustrating, especially on busy days. The hours must be approved by a member of management at the end of the week in order to determine payroll and the corporate office receives them easily. Pros This program contains everything the business needs to schedule employees, track time, and also contains profiles on each employee so management can find numbers and contact information easily. It was only recently introduced to us, but now it has quickly moved to the top of my list of tools for showing appreciation for my coworkers. The employee and manager self-service components are the main reason we switched software and there are no regrets after two years of using Workforce Ready. Cons If you are a small HR department, the set-up time might be longer than expected because you have to balance implementation with getting your regular job done. We have purchased the Payroll, HR, Time and Labor, and ACA package. Our employees are now able to see their vacation and personal time in one place without having to contact HR or Payroll. The system allows transparency for the employees and the managers. They can view their pay statements, their time off, and their benefits all in one place. The mobile application for KRONOS Workforce Ready is very user friendly. Employees can see their pay statements when they are home and they can request off right from their mobile phone. The ease of use is wonderful. Our employees feel more engaged due to the software and so do our managers. Pros The mobile application is very user friendly. Cons The product is more difficult to use when it comes to transfers of employees between EIN's. There is more manual work involved than we would like for this process. Review Source ZH Zach H. It always seems to work well and the ability to implement locally makes companies feel more comfortable using the system. The physical timeclocks work well with the software and missed punches/errors are rare. Things like time-off requests are also very simple. Pros I love how convenient it is both online and on the phone. It easy to navigate and to understand. Cons I do not like the fact that on the app, when checking your timesheet it only shows the raw total and not the calculated. That is confusing to most all of my employees and I would love for that to be changed or at least considered for a change. Also, when the administrator approves the time sheets it only sends the raw total where it needs to be the calculated total amount. Review Source Joseph A. To do this, I have to fill out each day, one at a time. There are something like 6 boxes of information that I have to fill in in each line. There is currently no option to just copy and paste one row to the next. That would be mighty helpful. But the software does have a lot of useful features. I like that it keeps the last for entries available from the timecard reasons. This makes it easy to remember what you did the last time you entered time. Pros It is easy to see relevant information. It has a lot of useful features. Cons I wish there were a way to copy times reported over multiple days. A better way of seeing whether or not your timecard is approved or not. Pros Easy to use and very efficient on tracking employee tracking entry system. It is automatically feeds employees entry to payroll system for time put in in a weeks time. Cons I can't think of anything negative about the product. However, the application could be improved by giving employees an automated text messaging if they've missed time entry. It takes almost no training to learn to use it. Cons Though I put notes in regarding my time off, my manager doesn't seem those notes easily. This has caused a few errors and has resulted in my needing to email information rather than entering a note in Kronos. It is less than ideal but could be easily fixed by the developers.
