I have used a different platform of Kronos and it wasn't as user friendly. I like the reporting capability as well. Cons I wish the training material was more updated. I find it a bit hard to find exactly what I am looking for. I also wish we were notified when updates happened and what exactly it effected. It has allowed us to keep all of our information for our employees in one place. It is very easy to use and design based on our companies needs. We use Kronos as our employee database as well as payroll. Cons Not many cons, but I suppose the navigating through the system just takes some time and effort to learn. Which this is to be expected. Pros Able to handle all aspects of HR. Timekeeping system is easy to use, handles all of our PTO types and schedules. Cons Training and education on products and features. Would like to have more classes available before implementation. Just because you helped build the system doesn't mean you understand situations you run into on a daily basis. Pros I love that Kronos allows me to get through timesheets very quickly, as long as the employee has done their part. It's very easy to use. Cons The only thing I don't like is that we are not operating on a more up to date version. However, the version we have works great for a company just getting their feet wet, so to speak. Pros I love using Kronos. It is amazing. We use it at my work to check our schedules and even request time off. I use both the mobile and desktop version. Both are very easy to use. Pros Kronos WFR is a great product to combine major HR functions, like the employee database, timekeeping and payroll functions, and performance reviews/employee management. Bio-metric time clocks helped to prevent fraud and incorrect punching. Great software if you need all the payroll bells and whistles, but difficult to implement and expensive. Pros Data Extraction and Reporting Features. Lots of information available for export. Time Off Requesting was a good feature. Cons Difficult to implement. Had a very problematic setup. Took almost a year to get set up. Technical Support was slow to get back with you and software was expensive. Had to call and get a case number and wait 24 to 48 hours for tech support to call back. When payroll problems occur, usually need help asap. Very expensive. Did not use all payroll features, mainly exported time out to another payroll system. Very expensive for the limited use. I would recommend that your implementation team spend more time on educated users rather then blasting through the set up process with little or no explanation of what they are doing and why. Pros Kronos is very user friendly; easy for employees with little or no computer knowledge to navigate. My favorite feature is the reporting tools, running reports is easy and there are a variety of reports that can be pulled. Cons The system still has limited capabilities and some features seem to be a work in process. Our biggest complaint has been our lack of a contact from Kronos since we completed our implementation. We would like to use Scheduler and the new recruiting program but we are unable to get a dedicated team member to assist us. Review Source JS Jenny S. June 12, 2018 4.0 To have a solid product every aspect needs to be seamless in my opinion. If we were to go back to the drawing board on choosing a time keeping system and I knew what I know now we would go with someone else. Pros Once it is up and running Kronos Support is great and very helpful. General system/software is easy to use and has a lot of very useful features. Day to day it does not have much upkeep once it is up and running. The overall software itself is able to be tailored to our needs to an extent. Cons Implementation team was terrible. Kronos outsources to a third party. Communication was horrible, very little explanation behind what goes into setting up the system. Our system is now filled with a ton of mess ups that were not able to be deleted due to miscommunication or simply not understanding what the other was saying. It was a horrible experience. Employees and managers like it. Pros This is by far the best time keeping solution we have used at our company. Employees can easily request PTO and see their hours. Cons I have not had or seen any significant problems with Kronos workforce ready. Cons I'm on a new platform that is being rolled out to all customers later this year and I find it much more difficult to navigate than our old platform. I thought that it was a solid and reliable product. It didn't have any feature that I foud impressive though. Pros I used Kronos in the past. It was the workforce management product of a former employer of mine. As a user who only used it to enter my timesheet I found Kronos to be straight forward and to the point. It didn't impress me as having any fascinating features or capabilities that competing software wouldn't have, but it was simple enough to make time sheet entering simple. Cons there is nothing in particular that I considered a downside to Kronos. As many other similar products, it didn't offer any impressive features that made my life easier as a user, but it wasn't clunky or complicated as to make my life difficult either. As a multi-EIN company, we needed all of our data under one "roof", and Kronos WFR has provided just that. We quickly realized the benefits of this robust system and decided to not only adopt TLM and HR, but Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Accruals, and some of the Marketplace add-on features. This software will enable us to streamline processes and share a single platform across dozens of locations in different states. Pros Customization, Reporting, Employee Self-Service, time saving, process streamlining. Cons Some challenges with integrating with external payroll platform (Great Plains). Resolved by purchasing the WFR Payroll module, which proved much more flexible and time saving for our payroll department. Review Source Diego D. It is very accurate and easy to use and is hardly ever down. Pros I like all the feature it has when it come to PTO and requesting time off. I also lie the ability to review your past time punches and pay periods. Cons I do not like the way it rounds up and down, it can really hurt you of you are not careful. When punching in be very careful not to be later or early, the closer to you actual time you need to clock in or out is when you want to punch in or out. Review Source MS Mayra S. Cons Reporting capabilities I find very cumbersome. The timesheet view is also very busy and I actually miss timekeeper central in that respect.
