The customer service for resolving issues is excellent as I am one of the individuals responsible for maintaining our system. I am able to track time and attendance with this system. Our pay system does smoothly. Pros I like that it is easy to use and learn. I find a good deal of the features to be intuitive. Pros Easy to adjust to business needs...very easy to do set-up of modules and make any necessary changes. We have a lot of employees with multiple pay codes. Pros Very user friendly, robust, and works great for having several offices across the country being on one system. Cons Sometimes service requests take extra long to get back when it's a complicated issue. FMLA tracking is quite expensive. Makes it easy for managers to approve as well. Pros Easy to clock in and out, at the beginning and end of a shift or also for lunch. Also makes it easy to request time off and view upcoming schedule Cons Seems to take a long time to load into the software regardless of internet speed. Kronos seems to miss the little things that could make the product better. Pros It has many items that are very useful. Notes, reports, etc. some of it is user friendly for people who are not computer smart. Has much info that you can keep track of. Cons Too much goes on behind the scenes that affects end results. Front end users can't see these things and it causes many problems. Needed lots of set up to get what we wanted when we started using the upgrade. Cons I don't like that when looking at your current time sheet only one day is available at a time, and that it wont display to show your weekly total. They have no problems. The administration is easy for the administrative users. Cons Some of the technical configuration is difficult. It is hard to achieve some of our requirements through the existing configuration. As a result, we have to built custom applications in our HR systems to accommodate this. Pros Love the time and labor feature of this system. Able to track employee overtime, schedules, worked hours, etc. with reports. Cons Everything takes several steps or has several different ways to get there. It can be hard to teach others about the product when everyone accessing the same feature gets there differently. September 24, 2019 5.0 Overall, I have had nothing but the most positive experiences with Kronos. Their customer service and tech support departments are on point and do a tremendous job. They system is super user friendly, and it gives me the service and applications that I need to run a payroll and time card system of in excess of 100 employees with ease. Pros The ease of use is extraordinary. Once you learn how to add your workers into the system, finding them, and accruing their time sheets and hours for payroll simply by categorizing them is really easy. This by far is the best timekeeping system out there on the market now. Cons Sometimes there are glitches when the information doesn't upload on time. It would be great if Kronos prepared the 941s and state tax forms each quarter. Pros I like the ease of payroll preparation and the interface between time & attendance, HR, and payroll. Once timesheets are approved and any employee maintenance is done, payroll is prepared with only a few keystrokes. Cons I like the reports, but sometimes there are important missing fields, such as Gross Wages YTD and a complicated formula must be done to get the value you want. But overall they are good reports. I also like the multiple download options to excel or pdf. Cons Creating reports and modifying existing setups can be difficult. It would be helpful to have better training or How to details within the system. Also, we have experienced issues with retro updates. If we make a change to a setup, ie change Holiday to count towards overtime, we would expect this change to only impact future payrolls however if we open a previously closed period to modify notes or correct a punch details then the new rule will override previous rules and the timesheet will recalculate. " February 18, 2019 5.0 Just that, after using the product for 4 years, and getting use to all of the functions, I really enjoy working in it. Pros Details of timecards, ease of payroll processing, report writing functions. I like having the weekly timecard view on the detail page and being able to paste notes into the timesheets. Cons Not have the 941 and W2 state files within the system. We had WFC and were use to having these features and used the 941 for balancing on a regular basis. I do believe that the software is robust and can meet 80% of my needs if I just knew how to use them and if some of the reports were more friendly. Pros Search features are so easy to use and adding columns to the all employee view Viewing of information Applicant tracking features Cons Some of the reports do not work together. Thanks to Mo, we can acknowledge employees, no matter where we are. I find the app super easy to navigate, the addition of memes/gifs as a way to respond make it feel moe personal and adds an informal level to the messages. Mainly because we wanted our employees to use there Mobile devices for Employee Self Service with schedules and verification of times. Moving our time keeping to the cloud made sense so that we internally did not have to focus a lot of attention on hosting and securing the Kronos platform with Employees trying to connect from the outside. Overall, Workforce Ready is a great product, but still does not have all the functionality of Workforce Central. However, I know they are working on getting there. February 16, 2018 5.0 I really like Kronos, I would say it is my favorite operating system I have used so far. Pros The all in one aspect of Kronos is my favorite thing, it's all in one package. Having the ability to generate endless reports is so very helpful. Cons I wish that when running reports you didn't have to expand the search query almost every time. The max may run from 50 to 200 but the original return shows the minimum, say from 10 to 20. I end up expanding almost every report I run. I would like it if they just opened with the max.
