HR Director Medical Practice Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Workforce Ready Review" April 13, 2018 4.0 Need more support time for companies like ours that has unusual or difficult rules to follow/create to make my job as payroll easier as it should be with this system. Pros The software is very good once figured out how to get it to do everything that you want it to do if it has the capability. Cons I would like for it to have more features. Example - once I have entered in all employees schedules I then need it to print out on their actual timesheet which it does not have that capability to do. It is very difficult (and I am computer savvy) to get the reports created without customer support. It just take a little getting used to. I recommend that employees read the manual to get the hang of the program! Pros I love being able to log into Kronos and view my current hours for the pay period and the previous and future pay periods. Cons I feel like you are extremely limited in the views and how far back you can view timesheets. You're only able to view 30 days in the past. The customer support I find it very helpful" January 14, 2019 4.0 In general, I like Kronos and especially the reporting part of the system. It is very easy to change a report. Pros There is a lot that this software can do. When you have an issue, you always work with the same person. if they cannot help you, they get someone who can. Cons We had gotten Advanced Scheduler when it was first put out and there were a lot of bugs. Our schedulers are confused because we have to keep changing. Pros IT IS SO EASY TO NAVIGATE, EASY REPORTING SYSTEM. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE BEST. I WAS NEVER SO HAPPY WITH A PAYROLL SYSTEM AS I AM WITH KRONOS. It offers you custom fields to edit the data if need be. Cons It can be difficult to navigate and sometimes very confusing to update payroll information. I feel like it has also given supervisor's a more accurate glimpse of what their employees' schedules, time and attendance look like. Pros I like that everything regarding an employee's time and schedule is readily available for them through Kronos. I also like that employees can easily access their PTO, and submit for PTO. As a supervisor, I love that I can see my team's accruals and schedules easily. Cons Kronos isn't the most user-friendly program I have used. I find myself searching for things for longer than I need to, as the menus and their options don't always take me in the direction I need to go in. Review Source DW Damilola W. Managing time Off requests , etc . Pros Clocking in and out using this system has been very easy. I use it daily for work purposes . Cons Changing your time punch ins if you forget to clock in or clock out is not easy. I wish there was an easier system than having my supervisor have to do it every time . Easy peasy. Cons I'm not sure if it's just at my location but sometimes there will be an error when I clock in and have to wait a couple of seconds for the message to disappear. It is easy for employees to make corrections as well as the timekeeper. Great software! Pros I love that you can enter an employee's schedule and it will show different colors when the employee is not there for the shift. It could be just a missed punch or it could be an absence and it helps you see that at just a glance. Cons I find it harder to run reports since the latest upgrade. Pros Very little customer service needed. What we do with Kronos has been reliable at all locations and easy for employees to use. Cons I'm sure software is capable of much more than I use it for but it's just not obvious. The few times I did need customer service they were not readily available to answer my question. It does come with a price but easily justified in our case. Pros We find Kronos to be second to none by the functionality, ease of use, intuition and overall price. Solid support and quick responses from Global Support Team. Pros The system is so easy to navigate and to learn as you go. Reporting capabilities are fantastic! Global Support team has been great to work with. Cons Benefits module has room to grow - limited features include system not being capable of pro-rating benefits, each benefit plan needs to have a COBRA plan (where applicable) associated with it and that COBRA plan needs to be elected on behalf of the employee in order to send the COBRA info on the EDI correctly versus simply sending the current plans an employee has at the time of termination to the COBRA carrier. Pros N/A Cons We are a Construction company and were told that UKG could handle Union Fringe reporting. It cannot. we were told we could create reports from any of the data in our system. We cannot.
