The ease for the employees to use and see what they have invested in the company they work for. They can see all the benefits and a click of a button. The reports are amazing you can create all you need to keep the flow going. This is by far the best payroll program I have seen in the 20 + years I have worked here. Cons It would be nice to be able to put alerts in certain places for items not done for an employee. Other than that I can't think of anything at this time. Review Source TS Travis S. They have a strong reputation and know their way around HR platforms. Managers and help desk associates are attentive and they do have a process for escalation. Cons Kronos is trying to get to the cloud and has bolted on products. Support is a struggle for any legacy products. Review Source KJ Kim J. " December 17, 2018 5.0 I would recommend the product to others who are looking for a new updated pay system. Pros The software basically manages itself so there is very minimally you have to do to manage it. The system works with very short update periods. Cons Sometimes the biometrics have a hard time reading finger prints for some staff members. We then turn off the options to accommodate those employees. Review Source MR Melissa R. HR Retail Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Powerful and Advanced System" May 11, 2018 4.0 I would recommend this to other clients, but would recommend doing 1 phase at a time. We tried to do 3 at one time and it was way too overwhelming and our timeline that we wanted in completed in was unrealistic. Pros This program offers so much good information, but can be difficult to find what your looking for and set up. The customer service help is awesome and is always willing to help get things the way you want. Cons The accruals portion needs some updates. They do not recognize future time off and give incorrect error messages. The mobile app for clocking in/out needs some updates- does not seem to work for all employees, but does for most. Payroll Administrator Management Consulting Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Kronos WFR makes job easier" December 5, 2018 5.0 I recommend Kronos WFR to anyone with a large number of employees. Pros Kronos WFR has made timekeeping a breeze. My payroll goes so much smoother now that we use Work Force Ready. Cons The only complaint I would have is the lag time Kronos Work Force Ready gets about once every week or two. However, i will say Kronos is quick to respond that they are working on the problem. Software Programmer and Security Officer Information Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Easy managing of your entire workforce" September 29, 2018 4.0 We use this system to distill the whole process of paying all employees to a total of two mouse clicks. Pros I have not had any experience with setting up this application, since it was already in place when I started. This application is mostly used for HR/finance purposes and manages everything related to employees' benefits (salary, paid time off, etc.). You can set up report templates with auto-filled in details, which makes the work of completing a form easy and straight-forward. This is one of those tools that you can continuously keep improving and expanding its scope. Cons The training period before a new person is comfortable with the software is quite steep, primarily because the system is very extensive. Although I have to say, once you know your way around, the interface is intuitive. Review Source DA Debbie A. Pros Reporting is the best. Cons How to documentation. Step by step basic instructions with screen shots would be nice for ACA. Works well with punching in as a time clock system for hourly employees Cons Wish the punch in was done by when you sign in and out of computer. They have a good reputation and the basic functionality is there. Cons I believe the user interface is antiquated, and it doesn't flow nicely. Pros Payroll, time clock, workforce management, benefits, there are SO many functions under the umbrella of UKG. All in one place, one app and made so simple to use. Cons Once you have left the implementation stage it is very difficult to get a quick response if you need t o make adjustments or changes to your settings. When logged into the application on my phone, all menus I need are easily accessible. I don't have to spend time clicking around to find what I need. I also like the format and ease of printing schedules. The paper format is easy to read and is easy to print. I have also worked with customer support and this experience was fairly painless and was able to remedy any issues. Cons The mobile application as well as the computer version can sometimes lag or timeout. When using the scheduling feature on the computer, set scheduled days do not always show up on the mobile application. Review Source JC Jeff C. It's a big company within an even bigger corporation so for them it's incredibly important to keeping things running smooth when it comes to the human resource department. Pros The implementation process didn't require too many hands to get completed. Minimal IT involvement and our account manager was awesome. Cons I hated using this system where I worked. I feel like it failed 50% of the time logging people in.
