Once running the system is very stable and reliable, but more in depth changes than what a day to day employee may use can pile up and bury higher users in a large number of requests Pros software design is easy and straightforward, the system is easy to learn for basic functions Cons More advanced features and controls are limited to users and administrators can be overwhelmed with simple requests Review Source BR Betsy R. Prior to the purchase of Kronos Workforce Ready, our payroll processing was outsourced and what little HR information we had was either in paper files or length, inaccurate Excel spreadsheets. Kronos Workforce Ready provided the most robust functionality at the best cost of our size company. The Kronos implementation team worked with our non-tech savvy HR Department to get the system up and running in very few months. Through the implementation process, we identified policies that needed to be developed as well as flaws in existing policies that needed to be more detailed. By the end of implementation, we not only had a functioning system, we also had a much more mature set of HR policies that our team members could easily understand and our HR Department could easily support and enforce. Pros Kronos' Customer Support is perhaps the best I've ever worked with. They never failed to respond promptly. They followed up with us when we failed to respond promptly. At the end of every call they always open the conversation to any other questions we might have on any part of the software. They were happy to log into our system and review functionality we had enabled on our own and look for ways to streamline. Cons When we made the purchase, there were no integrations with other systems. We use an external Benefits provider so we have to manually enter enrollment information and updates. Exception reports make it easy for deductions with our bonus program. Cons Some codes don't show on an exceptions report. Membership Director Hospitality Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Kronos Workforce" January 7, 2020 4.0 Tracking and reporting is great, unfortunately new system did not pull over all of our old records, including time cards. Pros Kronos offers a multitude of options for managing workforce, all in one place. I used Kronos for 7 + years so was very comfortable and familiar with it. Recently we changed to an updated version that allowed more options. Cons Once upgrading to the new Kronos system there were a lot of issues with set up which we did not get the proper assistance from Kronos customer service with. Pros The software is very logically setup and navigating thru the system is quite intuitive. Cons Resetting user dashboard isn't available on the administration side and needs access to user side. June 2, 2017 5.0 Pros We are a multi company organization and the fact that all employees are in the same database is very helpful and fast for us on running reports. Kronos is user friendly for us admins. Cons The VCA- it does cause problems for us and our work force as not all of them are tech savvy. August 14, 2020 5.0 My overall experience with Kronos Workforce Ready has been positive. Pros My hospital uses Kronos for scheduling and since it is a very large unit with a lot of employees, Kronos provides a great way to manage our schedule so that we know exactly when we come to work. Our "specialist" was in another county and it was hard to understand him and he had a hard time understanding our questions as well. Pros Workforce Ready has some great features such as being able to clock in and out remotely via smartphone, reviewing schedules and time via smartphone or computer and on-site with the kiosk. The fingerprint clock in is great- it keeps employees honest! Cons I miss the feature of employees being able to review their entire pay week on the clock - this isn't available online or via smartphone for employees either, which results in employees requesting a lot of printouts. It is very easy to use and the rewards are easily redeemed. Pros The site itself is very easy to use and there is a vast array of options to use your rewards! Cons It can be difficult to navigate when you first start using the site, however, there are walk throughs and once you are used to the platform, it becomes very easy to use.
