November 19, 2019 5.0 Kronos has solved so many problems from keeping up with leave time, to fixing timesheets in a hurry. Pros Kronos has helped our workplace in so many ways. Clocking in and out, days off, vacations, and all the extras that would normally make life hard are made easy. Cons Kronos does have so much to offer and that means it takes some trying out and working with, but once you do it is so simple. Review Source JB John B. System is relatively easy to use. We are a staffing company and have about 300 people on the system at any time. Cons At various times throughout the year, we've called customer service and found the process to be a bit frustrating. The WFR platform is very customizable as well which is plus. Cons Kronos website seems to run a little slow/sluggish sometimes, but it's usually for a very short time and not often. I would just suggest a little more carefulness with the implementation. A bonus code was set up incorrectly by Kronos tax department and caused issues with W2s at the end of the year. Pros It is very comprehensive and easy to use. I like that you can learn it yourself. I loved the interface, the reporting capabilities. Cons Some limitations with performance management process. It seems like a pretty good product for simple and complex pay rules. Cons I don't like that a few of the reports do not have the same options to choose from, example I use the Calulated Time Summary and the Meal Premium Report to gather the information of what day a California meal penatly was received for a particular employee and who rightfully did not waive it, answered no instead of yes. You can clearly see the times clocked in and out, and you can track your hours easily for each pay period. Cons When attempting to create a "time stamp", the software often does not process certain stamps. You must refresh the page multiple times, and often a notification will come across the top of the screen saying that your time wasn't process, prompting you to again create a time stamp. It was easy to navigate and see all of my paystubs. Cons No history of changes are kept. Was told it was difficult from management view to determine overlaps in scheduling requests (couldn't view from my side if shifts were available or conflicting either). Pros What I like most about Kronos Workforce Ready software is that is allows you to streamline timekeeping tasks for many employees of all levels. Immediate help should be given for technical issues. Not days later. Pros The customization options for your individual company are vast. You can build the software to suit your needs if you can figure out how the complicated menus work. Cons Customer support is NOT immediate and requires a call back at a later date at their convenience. Certain issues require immediate attention and to be told you will receive a cal back the next day can make the difference of employees being paid on time or not. From an admin perspective, Kronos was user friendly, simple design, and easy navigation. From a user perspective, also very easy to use. Cons The only con I can think of is the application piece. This may or may not have anything to do with the actual system but the way the app was set up. I found it to be user friendly but not all had the same feeling. Review Source KF Katie F. Limiting time punches to the tablets is a nice feature. We are looking at face recognition next. We have had very little down time with the software and I have not run into a single problem with my employer about keeping track of the time I have worked. Pros The best part about the software is the ability to check in and out from my desk. I love the ease of signing in/out without using the time-clock at my hospital. Additionally, the functionality of looking at current/previous time schedules to know exactly how much you have worked, how much over-time you are getting, and when paid-time-off is being used is excellent. Overall the software works as it was intended and I have personally had no issues whatsoever with it. Cons I do not have any cons to report on this software. Review Source AN Alex N. Once I had the necessary information from my district it was very way to login and set up the app. I am please with the simplistic look and it makes finding what you need quite easy. I like that it saves my username and I just have to input my password. My only wish is that I could use my fingerprint to sign in. Pros This app is easy to set up and use Geolocation to prevent stealing time Straightforward interface Remembers username Displays time accruals Cons The one complaint I have about this software app is that I cannot use my fingerprint to login. My work password changes every 28 days so it would be nice to have the option of an alternative way to login.
