The layout of the program is overall organized and concise. The employee can also create reports. Cons The badge reader function does not work all the time when employees are clocking in and out. Pros It processes payroll and the reporting is okay. I can't think of anything else positive for this product. Cons No control to process manual checks, execute accruals, too many fees for wrong SSNs and direct deposit issues. Plus the employee interface is the most user un-friendly scheme ever! Pros This program is great when keeping track of employee's time cards and making sure they get compensated. Cons At first this program might seem a little complicated. Pros Hard clock in and out; allows EE to review their PTO; will eventually be able to upload PBJ Cons not flexible enough for what we have in place; wants a hard schedule but ours is more fluid to meet the needs of our staff and our residents. April 3, 2018 5.0 Pros World class platform that is constantly updated. The Kronos community website is an interesting portal for general systemic updates. The implementation team is an outstanding team. Cons No operational issues at this time. One point of concern, we previously had Empower which was purchsed by Kronos. Pros You can’t find a pro when you can’t get it to load properly. I’ve tried every internet browser available and it still will not load properly. Cons Won’t work on a Mac. Their IT can’t figure out why and wants to blame JavaScript. I gave them complete access to my computer and they couldn’t get it to work. Review Source KH Kim H. Pros Kronos allows each employee to log into their account to track PTO and then Kronos notifies the supervisor for approval. This is a very efficient and effective process for managing employee PTO. Cons Kronos is not very user friendly and can take awhile to find all the tools and menu items. Its menu pages are not clear and not easily navigable for a new user. Review Source BJ Brenda J. Our Application Consultant knows the Kronos system but cannot answer day to day process questions or provide solutions to issues that arise with benefits/deductions administration. I am able to access it at home and keep track of the hours I work and vacation time I have, Pros It is a self-serve way of managing your vacation, sick, and personal days by the hour. You can review all the time stamps for entry and exiting work and correct any errors for the entire year. This saves time, because I don't have to reach out to our payroll manager for every discrepancy. Cons There is a learning curve to use this. For example, selecting specific days to take off require highlighting a row of data and switching to another menu. However, there is training video on how to do this, Review Source NT Nina T.
