Technology Coordinator Education Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A great solution for busy offices!" January 21, 2022 5.0 This has been a great solution for our particular situation. We are able to keep the schedules of all staff members up to date. If there are changes, employees can easily use the phone app to update their location or schedule. We really like the "future status" feature where a staff member can plan ahead to ensure that transitions between schools are made automatically at the set times. This has also been a great way to let all staff know if someone is out sick, or taking personal leave, or has an appointment. We truly use this as an Electronic In and Out board. This product is BETTER than advertised, in my opinion. Pros Using the EIO Board is a great solution for tracking the location of employees that move around a lot throughout the day. This is essential for our K12 special education consortium that serves 12 rural school districts in the midwest. EIO Board is user friendly, and available in a variety of formats including an app for phones, for people on the go. Cons There are so many features that we have not yet tried them all out. I know that more and more features have been added since our initial purchase, so getting regular updates about new features and how to use them would be great. There are a lot of resources on the web site though, and I've been able to find what I need on Savance's comprehensive main website. Reason for choosing Savance EIOBoard We did look at about three different products from other companies, and EIO Board was by far the most visually pleasing, had the exact features we need and depend on, and is user friendly. I recommend EIO Board to anyone who needs to keep track of many schedules and large groups of people. The bonus is that the HR departments can use to track absences, sick days, and so much more. We have used it as a "Resource" scheduler and tracker for our state vehicle usage and to book meeting rooms in our building. The Savance employees are very responsive and provide great support. IT Admin Government Administration Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Great receptionist system" January 24, 2022 5.0 Pros We use the system as a digital receptionist and time keeping system. We did away with emails going out to the whole organization asking "Is so and so here today?". The EIOBoard shows the schedule everyone works, it can group each employee under their supervisor, and also lists their phone extension. It's a very easy central location to find out if an employee is here today, what time they should be here, and what their phone number is. It's very easy to go check and see when someone clocked in and how much they've worked. Cons There really isn't anything I don't like about the software, everything we need or want this system to do it does. Pros I like the user-interface is very easy to navigate and it can help me to track how long I have been working a particular day. Cons Sometimes my coworker logged as me and /herhis name was on my time sheet. That made me felt unpleasant. I don't know how they did that or just the app has flaw. Review Source BS Brian S. Pros Many options to choose from - Outlook plug-in, web app, mobile app, standalone app. Makes it very easy to use the tool. Does exactly what we need, which is to keep up with remote worker's schedules. Cons Could use a fresh coat of paint. Certainly not a dealbreaker, but the interface could use an update/freshening up. Reason for choosing Savance EIOBoard Others seemed lacking in some way with a scan across similar products. Administrator Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Savance EIO Board Is VERY User Friendly" March 30, 2022 5.0 The simplicity of this software makes it so nice to work with for seasoned users as well as new users. The Savance customer service is WONDERFUL, however, last time I needed to speak with someone I found they implemented a 'Call Service' where they take your information and have someone call you back, which took much longer. I used to call and speak with someone right away. I assume that is because they are growing, which is good for them, not so great for me as I was spoiled with immediate service for many years. :) Pros We love the ease and simplicity of utilizing the EIO Board for our company and the mobile app is a great tool as well for our Project Managers. The hardest part is getting the USERS to actually USE this software appropriately - LOL!!! Cons Nothing to dislike about this software comes to mind. We are quite content with it. Pros I like the fact that you can easily go in and add or remove staff members as they come and go. It has an app so that staff can easily sign out. They are extremely knowledgeable, are always right on top of our requests, and are great about responding in a very timely manner. It is one of the few tech support experiences I don’t dread. Pros We have been using EIOBoard for many years now and it has continued to meet all our needs for an electronic in and out board. It was very easy to set up and has been very easy to maintain. Pros It's nice to have a live view of who is the building and it connects to two of our locations so you can see who is available and who is not and who is working from home. We use EIO board as an Outlook add-in to easily view in-office status. Kiosks/key fob readers at entrances make signing in easy. The add-in for Outlook is almost seamless and the phone app works great. Easy to administer and very customizable. We have used this product for over 7 years and have come to count on it every day. Customer support is responsive and a pleasure to work with. Pros Easy to use and customizable for our needs. Cons None to mention, however, integration with our payroll provider could be helpful. Pros implemention was easy with a lot of support and communication. Product was easy for staff to learn how to use. Cons Using the app on smartphones does not always work well, so workers just use website on phones instaed and this works better.
