### "Great product for non developers "

August 6, 2025

5.0

Great value for money and super exiting to start building once you start to understand the concept a little bit more

Pros

Ease of use compared to other alternatives, flexibility and ease to integrate with different backends on the same page

Cons

It’s still hard to learn but amongst other alternatives and considering its capabilities, it’s perfect

### "Design production grade frontends with confidence and speed"

September 3, 2025

5.0

I built a niche SaaS on WeWeb and moved from idea to a first demo for prospects in very little time. From there I took the MVP to a fully functional and complex platform with minimal changes and without a heavy redesign. The system is aimed at online businesses and online coaches, and it supports running an online summit, managing speakers, scheduling sessions and interviews, and planning the event from start to finish. It lets me organize complex offerings into clear packages and serve dynamic elements automatically so users see what matters at the right moment. WeWeb also helps beyond simple creation by allowing conditional display of elements, which works like a feature flag, so I can expose functionality only to selected users and keep building without disturbing the production environment, or turn on a capability for a small inner circle of testers first.

Pros

The recent AI features make it remarkably easy to move from a blank canvas to a polished first implementation even if you are not a seasoned frontend developer. The visual builder feels intuitive without dumbing anything down, so you can create interfaces that look professional and feel robust. After a short learning phase the workflow becomes fast and forgiving and designing screens starts to feel natural rather than tedious. Connecting to backend services like Xano, Supabase, or your own REST APIs is straightforward and thoughtfully laid out, which keeps momentum high when you are stitching together data and UI. Beginners find their footing quickly while more advanced builders still get the control they need to structure, scale, and refine. A basic grasp of web technologies, APIs, and REST calls helps smooth the path, but it is not a hard prerequisite to start shipping real products.

Cons

At times components behave a little differently across browsers, which is understandable given differences in browser engines, yet it can reduce the sense that everything will just work everywhere. The online documentation is generally strong but can lag behind new feature releases, and in day to day work the community and video resources on YouTube usually fill the gaps quickly. Some official examples lean toward beginners and can leave advanced users wanting deeper patterns and recipes, although with experience and community input you can usually assemble solid solutions. These are small complaints about an otherwise impressive toolset, but they are worth noting if you plan to push the platform hard.

very good when it comes to the platform, their integration capabilities as well as the support system!

Pros

Ease of use and setup for new users have made it simple for us to adopt. Their assistance from a support side was also very good.

Cons

### "The real deal to build web application."

May 16, 2025

5.0

I am satisfied and it has been fun for me, I love learning how to build as well as how things work ⎯ the development and other supporting infrastructure.

Pros

It's intuitive! All the function and features work to how I need them to be, or otherwise you can just build your own custom element, function, or component. Also, the team and community have been nurturing each other.

Cons

You may need to dig deeper to figure out how things work as their documentation and tutorials may have not catch up to their updates, or what are the alternative of solving your problem.

### "Definitely building better websites with WeWeb "

April 16, 2020

5.0

Things that seemed to be difficult while using other CMSs turned out to be easier with WeWeb. My websites performances increased dramatically and it was easy to set up.

Pros

\- very visual & the interface is easy to use - no limitation for building your website, allows you to explore & implement your creativity - no need to install or maintain any extension/plugins, everything comes out of the box - the built-in version management system is just amazing - excellent customer experience & support, always available & happy to help

Cons

I am one of the early users of WeWeb and back in the days they didn't have enough templates to start with, but now there are plenty of them and the library of pre-built elements keeps growing.

### "A powerful visual frontend for real products — not just prototypes"

June 17, 2025

5.0

WeWeb has been central to building our product. It let us go from concept to MVP in a matter of weeks, with full control over branding, layout, and user logic. We paired it with Xano and Outseta to handle backend and auth, and the stack has worked extremely well. For anyone building a modern SaaS or data-driven frontend, WeWeb is a strong choice — especially if you need flexibility without giving up speed.

Pros

The best thing about WeWeb is the combination of visual flexibility and backend power. It’s not just a drag-and-drop tool — it allows serious developers to build structured, responsive layouts, integrate with real APIs, and add custom JS where needed. WeWeb’s expression system and logic blocks strike a great balance between no-code and low-code. It let us build a highly dynamic investment platform without needing to compromise on performance or customisation.

Cons

Lack of a great integration with a headless CMS makes that part of the product a pain, but once that's built out, it's straightforward.

My overall experience with WeWeb was positive. It’s a great tool for beginners and small projects, though it lacks some advanced features I’d hope for.

Pros

The intuitive interface and drag-and-drop functionality made website creation fast and enjoyable, saving time and effort.

Cons

Limited customization options for advanced users were frustrating and restricted creative control.

### "Super Fast, Powerful, and One of the Best Front-End Tools"

May 9, 2025

5.0

Our overall experience with WeWeb has been amazing. The platform is powerful, intuitive, and truly accelerates our development process. Their team is also awesome. Super supportive and responsive.

Pros

What we like most about WeWeb is how incredibly fast it is to build production-grade applications. You can deploy on your own server, which gives us great flexibility. Honestly, it’s one of the best front-end tools we’ve ever used.

Cons

As a partner, one downside is that we need to pay for licenses for our developers. It would be great to have more flexibility around that.

### "The best visual coding frontend builder for production applications"

November 7, 2024

5.0

My experience with WeWeb has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s made the process of building and deploying web apps incredibly fast and easy. I love how much control I have over the design and functionality of my apps. The learning curve was smooth and after a year of use I feel proficient in it thanks to that ease of use.

Pros

The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, and the level of customization WeWeb offers is top-notch. The team listens to the users and the improvements are constant. The new deployment process is one of the greatest things.

Cons

Sometimes the integration of custom code can get tricky, especially when managing projects with more complex functionality. A more streamlined workflow for the integration of custom code would be a very welcome improvement.

Overall, I’ve had a positive experience with WeWeb. The platform has significantly reduced the time it takes to get a project from concept to production, which is a huge benefit for my team.

Pros

I love how easy WeWeb makes it to build complex web applications without needing to write a single line of code. The integration with external APIs and databases is seamless, which is crucial for the kinds of projects I work on.

Cons

### "WeWeb - great little underdog website builder with modern features ahead of the rest"

July 6, 2021

5.0

I was building my new website on Webflow for my coffee roasting business in a desire to move away from Shopify, but didn't like the fact that I couldn't tie my data in directly with airtable, which I already used for inventory management. I stumbled upon Weweb and it solved my problem flawlessly - I could use airtable as a data source for my website, so I wouldn't need to to use workarounds or manually reenter all the product data, it tied in with the fantastic Snipcart so I could have a great checkout experience, and it was easy to use.

Pros

Weweb is a website builder very similar to other tools such as Webflow or Editor X, but instead of trying to do it all and not being ideal, it focuses on being the best front-end builder it could be. Weweb ties beautifully in to Airtable (and other data sources), meaning I can was able to link it in with the management systems I had already built for my business in Airtable. I was able to build a ecommerce website easily and quickly, with Airtable taking care of all my back-end admin - I can update pages via airtable, I can manage my products via airtable, I can manage my SEO via airtable. It then plugs in neatly with Snipcart for the checkout, which was likewise incredibly simple to do. The developers are very responsive and are happy to help solve any problems I have, and are quick to implement suggestions and feedback.

Cons

It's still early days, so there's the odd bug and quirk, but overall nothing really worth mentioning.

Shopify can be great if you have very simple needs (or a huge budget), but the moment you need to go beyond the scope of what a basic shopify page is capable of the bills start to add up and the pages start to slow down. Do you need to offer subscriptions? You need to add an app; do you need to display products different? You'll need an app. All these things can add up and make what was originally very affordable now very expensive. With WeWeb I was able to create a faster, more affordable, and overall far better website for my users and also myself.

### "Brutus WeWeb a outrepassé César WordPress"

April 23, 2020

4.0

### "A low code leader built to efficiently build web app"

December 5, 2023

5.0

Pros

WeWeb's approach allows developers to add logic to pretty much every component of a web app, whether it be with low code formulas or javascript. Workflows, formulas and variables can be managed in a composable way. UI Kits and classes allow for reusing your work, and custom components open the door to developers, would you need to go down that route.

Cons

The development process isn't always easy in a team environment, lacking branch only deployments and restoring. Deployed apps sometimes have hard time staying stable/up, but one can always download the code and self host.

Reason for choosing WeWeb

We chose WeWeb over Bubble for its ease of use. Bubble has a much steeper learning curve. WeWeb, being just a front-end, allows for much more flexibility scaling up, by allowing any type of back-end. It has great integrations with great back-end services like Xano and Supabase, and supports more barebone approaches.

### "Best Webapp Frontend Development tool I know"

December 5, 2023

5.0

Pros

The empowerment WeWeb provide is huge. On top of building UI, UX and plug to database very fast, the workflow interface added with the ability to write custom JS everywhere is so powerfull. It's the best low-code frontend option when you consider that the true power of lowcode lies in the ability to develop faster by switching from no code components and logics, to coded components and logics. I started coding using WeWeb <3

Cons

Like all "No-Code" they sell that everyone can be a dev now, and launch webapps easily and fast. That's just not true, and when everything you build relies on variables (in WeWeb) I find this speech a bit dishonest. But thats just their marketing right, and every editor does it in the end🤷

### "I've build a full Web-To-Store WeWeb Site with no technical skills"

April 22, 2020

5.0

\- Very good contact with team - I would have appreciated to have better information regarding WeWeb backlog - With "Early Bird" pricing, it was a very good deal for me

Pros

\- Drag & drop and absolute "no code" solution really intuitive to manage, I've just added/changed ready-made assets to display my contents (I have NO technical background) - Dev-friendly features gave me high possibilities to connect BDD and APIs to build the full operational Web-To-Store funnel I needed (with help of the WeWeb team) - High-Performances solution

Cons

\- Lack of tutorial when I used it (it was the very beginning for WeWeb) - The resulting website is full responsive but I had issues with images sizing (trade-offs to do)

### "Best user friendly software ! "

April 21, 2020

4.0

\- Very user-friendly, so it's perfect for people who don't have any skills or experience in building websites. - Team very helpful and reactive. - Precise analytics of the visits on your website. - Lots of different options for the webdesign (effects, emplacements etc).

Pros

I chose WeWeb to build my e-shop, which was complicated for me since I do not have any skills in web design. I was very quickly able to make everything by myself, the software being very user-friendly. I really appreciate that the team was everytime very reactive when I had issues, or questions or just when I needed help. Also, it's possible to link Shopify with WeWeb which was perfect for me since I am using Shopify for the backend. Finally, you have analytics on WeWeb which are very precise since Google Analytics is integrated in the software. I am very satisfied by WeWeb, the software, the team, and the result of my website.

Cons

I was dependant of the team in order to link Shopify with my website, since I was not able to make it myself, so it was complicated. There are some actions which are not very instinctive, and you need to ask help to the team - which once again makes you dependant, so takes more time.
