Pros

  • I like that the features are accessible and can be integrated with what I do on a day-to-day basis.

  • The turnaround time with UXArmy was fantastic and the screening was very well done. All the participants fit the criteria and all brought good insights.

  • It is convenient to use, quick replies from customer care, and good monetary benefits as well.

Cons

  • However, I did notice one area for improvement in the survey questions. The inability to pinch and zoom to view static images and screenshots can be frustrating for users.

  • Receiving an invitation for usability testing of softwares, websites or mobile application is very hard. We have to wait for months to receive an invitation.

  • Currently, it's still missing a function to preview the test before sending it out.

"Research aide."

Overall: My experience with UXArmy was highly positive. The platform’s combination of advanced features, ease of use, and access to diverse participant pools makes it an invaluable resource for our organization aiming to enhance its product through effective user research. In a landscape where understanding user needs is paramount, UXArmy equips businesses with the tools necessary to gather actionable insights efficiently.

Pros: UXArmy addresses a common challenge in user research: finding the right participants. With access to a robust user panel across Southeast Asia, India, and Australia, businesses can easily recruit individuals that match their target demographics. "My go-to platform to test prototypes for our Asian user base"

Overall: UXArmy's services are essential to our work as UX designers, addressing key challenges in research such as recruitment and resource management. With their help, we are able to conduct more impactful studies and make data-driven decisions with greater confidence. I highly recommend UXArmy to anyone looking for a comprehensive solution for UX research.

Pros: One of the standout features of UXArmy is their card sorting feature. UXArmy allows us to insert graphics and texts in cards which makes it easy for us to improve our information architecture.

Cons: However, I did notice one area for improvement in the survey questions. The inability to pinch and zoom to view static images and screenshots can be frustrating for users. As a UX designer, I believe this is a basic feature that should be added to make the experience more user-friendly.

"Easy to use app for good price"

Overall: OK if you’re looking for cheap and easy to use tool and you need just a simple data analysis. Otherwise I would recommend using Optimal Workshop.

Pros: The UI is intuituve and simple, but might look a little bit outdated You can upload your tree for treejack test via spreadsheet Easy to use on the phone

Cons: In treejack test there’s mandatory collection of respondent’s personal info that can’t be turned off There is a possibility to enter your own instructions, however there are instructions in English that is not possible to turn off (we’re not using English as primary language) The instructions for the treejack test are burried at the top of the page and some respondent didn’t noticed them. This skewed the results of the test The analytical part could be extended - for example filtering data based on respondent’s sex, country etc. Also it’s not possible to see time per task and it’s not possible to export the data to the spreadsheet

"Easy to use Product"

Pros: UXArmy is an excellent user experience research (UXR) platform that is both user-friendly and straightforward to use. One of the standout features of UXArmy is their exceptional support team, who are always available to provide assistance whenever needed.

Cons: While UXArmy is a decent UXR platform, there are some areas where it could be improved. For example, I would prefer more flexibility in their reports to allow for greater customization. Additionally, some interactions within the platform feel a bit awkward and could benefit from improved test setup.

"Great Tools for UX Research"

Overall: I need tools for the website, mobile apps and design testing and UXArmy solves this problem for me.UXArmy has integrated a calender in their interviewing tool which helps me a lot.

Pros: I am having a good experience with UXArmy. I use their tool for UX Research (Unmoderated and Moredated research). The process of the test setup on UXArmy's platform is very smooth.I have also used their tool DeepDive for the Moderated research. The analysis of the video is very easy and the audio is also clear. I need to contact them only once when I required support.

Cons: They have an auto-save issue for Unmoderated testing but it can be fixed for sure.

"A platform that facilitates user research"

Overall: UXArmy has made it easy for me to do user research

Pros: The interface is user friendly. I easily recognize the function of a feature just by looking at the icon. The process of detecting internet signals, device specifications, and speakers and mics also makes it easier for me.

Cons: Record detection if the interviewees are recording themselves

"Good App Easy to Use, but can add more functions"

Overall: Overall good experience, I did earn some money. But I wish to see more activities.

Pros: Simple to use. Simple and clear design.

Cons: Not enough activities or updates from this software. Wish to see lots of tests in the app for users.

"Super helpful to improve Product UX"

Overall: We were trying their remote usability testing tools (specifically task based testing among others), and the entire experience was great.

Pros: 1. Super useful toolset, with no non-sense on-boarding. 2. Most importantly feedback from their panel was super useful for me to refine my product designs. Bottomline, it's value for money and you are missing this in your UX toolkit if you are not using them.

Cons: Arabic and Hebrew are both not supported... but this was of less impact to me as i am looking at english speaking markets for now.

"Earn money with your feedback"

Pros: To register as a participant for usability studies in Uxarmy we have to give a demo test which the company used to qualify us for their platform. The company also pays in money for our valuable time and feedback software and websites.

Cons: Receiving an invitation for usability testing of softwares, websites or mobile application is very hard. We have to wait for months to receive an invitation.

"Thanks for helping my team to do research in Asia!"

Overall: Superb!!!!

Pros: My team like DeepDive where it is like repository for researcher to analyze the recording! Analysis space change the way we work! Thanks for that, also supportive team help us to get things done faster.

Cons: need to be more shareable also I need something I can read to utilize better the tools especially Deepdive, because it is special video call tool for user research

"User testing by actual end users:-)"

Overall: Overall experience with uxarmy was great. Have many interactions with them and their products and services are too notch.

Pros: Uxarmy app has a direct connect with end users and to accumulate end user perspective of a product. The interactive interface takes multiple modes of responses typing, voice and sometimes even user facial expressions. This way you get direct comments from actual users on how the users perceive the interface and design of an end product. Highly recommend to my friends and family. Voice out your opinion on design

Cons: No cons as such. One recommendation probably would be to see how the user's comments got implemented. So the final app or webpage version if shared could help understand what majority of other users suggested.

"Easy to use"

Overall: I have been regularly using UXArmy Platform doing user testing of my Designs using Interactive prototypes in Invision App. While Benchmarking websites, I do not need to do anything special. Enter the URL, and Go! It's so easy for me to analyse the Screen videos and present because I can make video clips to present to my stakeholders. I launch the Tests and get results usually within 2 days.

Pros: UXArmy is very easy to use and straight forward. Test creation is right in 3 steps. The best thing is that they do not Spam my Inbox.

Cons: The GUI can be improved. It looks a bit dated.

"Very useful tool to quickly validate some designs"

Overall: The service that UXArmy team provides is awesome. They are always available whenever we face some issues or have questions with the tool. They are also very acceptive to the feedback that we provide and continue improving the product.

Pros: I like it that UXArmy already has a big user panel. Whenever I send out a test, I can get enough results in two days.

Cons: Currently, it's still missing a function to preview the test before sending it out.

"Feedback 101"

Overall: Overall it’s positive. It does allow for the user to be able to earn money on the side and business’s to gather feedback offline

Pros: That I can earn money from it. Software app without the tests are alright and runs smooth

Cons: App is laggy. Some of the tests are laggy and not as responsive. More tests please.

"Great recruitment for Singapore UX study"

Overall: We are a company based in New Zeland and I was looking for help with the recruitment of participants for a UX study in Singapore. The turnaround time with UXArmy was fantastic and the screening was very well done. All the participants fit the criteria and all brought good insights. The customer service was phenomenal, clear and constant communication made possible a replacement of a participant just 30 minutes before the session. I will try other features of the platform on the next study and recommend UXArmy.

Pros: Efficient process. I didn't use the software.

Cons: The screening criteria is not done online, it wasn't a problem but could be even easier.

Reasons for Choosing UXArmy: Clear proposition on the website, quick enquiry response and affordable price.
Reasons for Switching to UXArmy: They don't operate in Singapore.

"Great product really useful insights "
