April 30, 2025 1.0 Pros Could potentially be useful in some cases, but I wouldn't risk using them with the kind of support they have right now. Cons Horrendous support. Guy called \[sensitive content hidden\] goes on ego trips to just to try to show you who's boss. God forbid you disagree with him on something. My experience with the tool sucked and I had a 1-year subscription with them. I asked for a refund on day 1 of the subscription (even asked them to subtract all my trial usage) and they refused—blatant theft. The guy \[sensitive content hidden\] they have handling things will be a chargeback magnet and will end this company if things continue like that. Last time I did a chargeback was so, so, so long ago that I had to figure out how to do it all over. They're that bad and left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I felt I needed to share this on every review platform on the planet. \[sensitive content hidden\] seem like reasonable people but they refuse to overrule this guy and he absolutely has no business running a company for sure. O the consulting side, we have developed voice-of-customer surveys to send out which have returned results in line with expectations both in deliverable rates, open rates and completions. I researched several email append options and happily landed on this one. Pros The software delivers what it promises, and is easily utilized. The simplicity makes figuring it out quick. The unlimited unverifiable emails is a godsend, and truly works. I have found an >80% deliverable rate when combining both verifiable and unverifiable emails, and response rate to be consistent with industry expectations/ norms. Cons There really isn't anything least liked, especially for the cost:value. One feature to add might be matching names to unverifiable emails returned (once an unverifiable email is returned from a general company search, perhaps being able to then upload the results file to see if a person's name could be matched to that email). It was a massive help with link building and outreach campaigns. Create your spreadsheet with author names and domain names—then just upload it and wait. It's been very accurate and simple to use. I have my entire team on here using it as well. Pros You only have to "pay" when the tool can confirm an email address. If it can't find or it can only come up with a suggestion (i.e. most people at the company have first.last@domain.com)—it doesn't cost you a credit. It's basically the same as Hunter.io, except with Hunter you do have to pay for their "best guesses". Cons As great as the credit structure is, the monthly handling of credits is a bit frustrating. You can subscribe to get new credits monthly (say, 500) and the credits do carry over—but only if you stay subscribe. This means if there's a few months where you don't need to use your account, you either keep paying anyway or lose all of the credits that have been carried over. Pros What I like: simple interface pay only for verified emails works pretty often; no email finder is 100%; I target hard to reach folks anyway, so don't have high expectations for this tool. Cons Their pricing model is not a fit for my needs at all. Understandably they want you to sign up for a recurring monthly subscription. But I have no need for the number of credits included in even the lowest tier plan; if you buy a one-off, the unused credits expire in 30 days. It keeps me from using them, to be honest. I exhaust every other means of finding emails, and only buy a one-time use when I've got a batch of prospects to hunt down that i can't locate any other way. I'm not an email spammer, I don't send 1000 templated junk emails every month/week. My needs are for a targeted number, probably <100 month. I would not recommend. Pros They only charge for verified emails. But the amount of verified emails they are able to find in the lists I upload are very low. We have long-time subscribers who have changed jobs and who continue to use a personal email address. When we market to them this can be awkward. We also have many situations where we have a meeting scheduled by one person but there is a large group in the room who we are introduced to by name only. If they cannot confirm the emails you don't consume your credits. then if I don't consume the credits get's carried over the next month. They also have an open API which we can use on our automation which is a great help. I'd say about half of the unverified emails that I've gotten from anymail have not worked. However, they don't count towards the number of emails you purchased if they are not verified which is nice. It is also affordable in comparison to other email finders. Pros I love how easy it is to use & it is pretty affordable compared to some others. Cons There are quite a few unverified addresses that come from anymail. Unverified addresses only work about half the time for me.
