### "User Friendly, Amazing Customer Service"

I have used this software for years and have never had a complaint from an office manager nor issues to deal with.

Pros

The best part about having this software is that, while it is already easy to use, I know that when I call customer service for assistance on the rare occasion I require it, I will get someone fast and who knows what they are doing. They are professional and courteous always.

Cons

I have not found anything I do not like.

It has always been so easy to use and so well serviced. The Customer Care is exceptional.

Pros

It is very user-friendly, easy to use and quick to use. Also, the support is exceptional.

Cons

I don't integrate with my accounting system. As there are so many parts to my reporting, I don't think this would work regardless.

I wasn't aware of options but, had used this product in another setting, so it was an easy decision.

okay - their service team is great but the software itself seems to be missing some features and others that it has feels like they are added after the fact so it doesnt flow well

Pros

My bookkeeper can submit payroll with ease

Cons

No software integrations meaning my bookkeeper has to post payroll manually

Pros

The payroll calculation and the payroll taxes are all taken care of. the only thing you need to do is create employee data base and the rate of pay. If you have problem creating that then just called the customer service and they will guide you. Once set up - the only work is submitting the hours and the rest is taken care of.

Cons

I would say - you cannot customized you reports to specific employees. But that is less of worry to me

It has been very smooth. Everyone I have contacted on the team has be knowledgeable and given me the correct answer.

Pros

I find the powerpay associates are always willing to help when I call in an answer my questions in a flash! I think it was helpful to refresh on the ROE information at year end, and they always offer this as a tutorial, which I appreciate. The other piece I like is setting up a new employee.

Cons

I wish the new employee set up had a reminder for direct deposit.

We are glad we switched to Powerpay. It's a bit pricy, but the support makes it worthwhile.

Pros

Online so can work from home. Can customize fields to track hours the way we need. Support is great and easily accessible.

Cons

Needed to work around only one type of sick time drawing from the accumulator, can't print out employee's transactions for the year without going into every pay period separately.

Appreciated extensive webinars and info session on covid-19 related measures.

Pros

Rapid entry is convenient to use. Automatic T4 calculation is helpful.

Cons

Vacation accumulator is hard to use especially when change in wages take place. We are now keeping the record in-house. Hard to reach customer service reps -- inconsistency in customer service quality. Wish there was greater integration around timesheet, onboarding etc.

### "Covid 19 Subsidies were confusing...Ceridian to the rescue"

We applied for the cews subsidy, and didnt know how we could call employees back, while helping payback some losses for some employees. There were 4 different situations, and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], your representative in Nova Scotia 'Owned our experience". She took it one step at a time, making sure myself and the administrator fully understood what we were doing and why. They went through all steps, and made it exceptionally easy...all while being professional, polite, and friendly. These are the people you want on your team. Very well done.

Pros

We were impressed by the many things the software could do, with vacation pay calculators that we did not know we could automate, to setting up three different types of employees easily

Cons

I dont think so. The staff made all the difference, and the software did what worked for us.

Cons

The system takes some getting used to and is not the most intuitive. For a small organization like ourselves a system like Wagepoint might be easier to use and have the same features.

I like that changes and important information appears on the home page.

I haven't come across anything I don't like

I find it quick and easy to use and whenever I have a question, it's answers right away and I am able to move on to other work.

Pros

I like that they listen to their customers and make this very easy to follow and user friendly.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind, I find it user friendly and the staff always polite and helpful.

Good so far. The transition from manual payroll to automated has been the most complicated part, and so far it's going well. Looking forward to having everything automated moving forward!

Pros

The customer service has been STELLAR. Personalized help, they answer any and all of my questions, even solving technical problems with login when they came up. They're available as often as I need someone to help. The software itself is pretty straightforward and simple to understand.

Cons

Sometimes it's hard to know if a feature is something I'm missing using, or just don't need at all. (Thankfully my customer service person is there to help answer those questions!).

Pros

When combined with the Dayforce applications PowerPay is a complete payroll and HR system for our organization

Cons

If you have an employee on leave you are not able to view or edit their file within PowerPay which is sometimes required.

Pros

Ease of use makes payroll inputting fast and convenient. When I do run into a problem the Powerpay help desk is very helpful, knowledgeable and walks you through each step.

Cons

I sometimes run into difficulty navigating the system when inputting information. However the Powerpay helpdesk is always there to help.

ease of use and cost. We use this for 3 Canadian employees and it is exactly what we need.

Cons

It is really basic and there are a few things I would like to see added, like storage of termed employees. But we pay for basic and it works excellently for what we need.

Easy to use. All tax forms completed at the end of the year

I will miss not being able to use the mobile version on my phone. This could be a game changer.

Pros

It is easy to use and I can call with any questions about payroll. It makes tasks such as ROE, Taxation, SPP & EI contributions a snap and I honestly cant imagine functioning without it.

Cons

Just that I don't use it enough to know all of the features at this time.

We have solved almost all of the manual process with payroll. We do verify the hours and enter in some additional earnings codes but otherwise the rest is automatic - even the accounting entries generate automatically for us to import in to our accounting software!

Pros

The ability to have all transactions automated! I do not need to manual transfer payroll funds, tax remittances, or pension contributions. Powerpay automatically does this for me so all I need to worry about is entering in the data!

Cons

I've asked for this feature before but with pensions that have split contributions based on YMPE there needs to be a way for the system to know an employee has hit YMPE to adjust their contribution percentage accordingly.

Pros

The product is easy to use and web-based application has been a key factor during 2020. It has enabled me to work from home without and problems

We were doing payroll manually and submitting remittances manually. Powerpay greatly shortened my time spent on payroll preparation, and ensured our remittances are filed on time, every time.

Pros

Powerpay is very easy to use. Support is great! A simple phone call has solved every issue I've had very quickly and respectfully. They talk you through everything as needed.

Cons

No cons at all. I've only had positive experiences using the software and with the support staff.
