(Department set up, reporting) Cons Reports are very limited, even the custom reports addition is barely useful. Customer service is great, they answer quickly and most are very helpful. However, more than once I asked the same question and got 2 different answers. Representative should have payroll certification to be able to help with code set up. The software is easy to use and if there is any question at all, the support staff are extremely helpful. I would definately recommend this product to any company looking for an accurate, user-friendly, payroll system. Very happy with this product. I would recommend having it for anyone who has employees. After the initial set up of new employees, it's very easy to pay them and everything is calculated for you. Further they are proactive in keeping with the legislation updates and inform you of them. Pros Makes dealing with payroll very convenience. We don't have to worry about remitting withholdings to CRA and preparing of yearend reports. Tech support is very helpful the few times that I called in. Cons It does take a bit of time to remember where to input the various earnings, contributions and deductions. I am new to using it and I wish I had been introduced to it sooner. I can't imagine going back to my previous system. I also appreciate that Powerpay seeks out and actively responds to customer feedback. Pros I love that important information is at my fingertips. From the simple but secure login process to the clear and well-organized information, I am able to access and manage my information in an effective and efficient manner. I also feel the my information is secure and safe which is a number 1 priority. Cons Anytime this software could be integrated with other platforms would be great. It has been a little tricky to reset my password without going through my site administrator so having an option to do this on my own would be great but I do appreciate the security. The cheques are not issued and waiting for collection. Powerpay also simplifies the year end reporting process for T4's and other payments based on payroll at the federal and provincial levels.
