Pros

Inputting new employees is very easy, inputting time on the rapid entry sheet is great especially since the last major overall of the website.

Cons

You have to have a payroll run open to access certain employee information.

This is a very economical, time-saving solution to payroll for our small non-profit organization

Pros

Being able to add employees, the reports, and mostly the service team - always available and very professional.

Cons

Some options are not user friendly, but with the support team it is easily overcome.

This was a great addition to our business. Our company has doubled in size this year, and it allowed me to offer a direct deposit service for our employees, that was easy for all of us to adjust to. I love how helpful all the Powerpay Employees are. I know that whatever issue I might encounter, someone is always there to answer the phone and help me immediately. Love that I always get to speak to a live person!

Pros

The software is very user friendly. I like that I can enter net pay quickly and get in and out very easily.

Cons

I don't think there is anything I can pinpoint that I don't like.

Reason for choosing Dayforce Powerpay

I have never found dealing with Financial Institutions very helpful. I can never get quick answers from them and hate having to wait on hold for hours, to only be pushed off to someone else.

The product is easy to use, it is fairly intuitive and the reporting meets our needs

I did not set up the payroll so there are some pay/ded items I would have changed

Pros

Easy to use. Access is easy as it is an online portal so payroll can be done from any computer. The app is a plus for quick reference as well.

Cons

There are things that could make entering payroll faster.

Overall it is great. Anytime I have a problem I just call in and its direct to a live agent.

Pros

Worry free. I just enter in the hours, it literally does everything else from stubs to direct deposit to T4s!

Cons

Because I usually only do simple payroll every 2 weeks...when I do need to do something such as ROE or bonus, etc, the software can be a little unintuitive so it takes a bit of playing around.

Ceridian Powerpay was quick to setup and easy to use. There representatives are always quick to get back to you if you have any questions. It's an amazing service.

Pros

Each employee has a portal in which they can access all there payroll information including there T4's with ease.

Cons

It can be overwhelming to look at initially but the interface is easy to use and representatives are always there to answer questions if you need help with anything.

I like that it calculates all of the deductions for me, and populates the ROES, and T4s are easily generated

Cons

I would like to have the option of time and attendance tracking, which is a feature i am eagerly awaiting

This product is easy to use and any questions what so ever were quickly answered by the Customer Service Team. What a relief that I don't have to know everything, I can just ask!

It has been recently (year ago) updated so now I find what I am looking for easier.

Pros

Once you get a hang of it the software is easy to use. Our company has been using it since the year 2002 when we outsourced our payroll. Extensive help is available and this year especially with Covid the information available has been extremely useful.

Cons

This is the only software for payroll I have used and since I do not have experience using other software I do not have any criticism.

The customer service team is just amazing, very friendly and help with any and all questions I have had. We moved forward with Self Service this year and that has been great. Tons of help from our rep \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\].

Pros

I like the rapid entry time entry, it is a time saver.

Cons

I dislike that to make changes to employee's wages or personal changes I have to start a new cycle, it would be nice to be able to do that without having to be forced to start a new payroll cycle. Especially at year end. As well, when submitting payroll, it would be nice if it would not allow you to submit until you have done all the steps to verify the information.

I have had to call the Powerpay Customer Service line many times and have always received first class professional service. Each of the Powerpay representatives I have dealt with have been so helpful and I always end the call satisfied with the result.

I can think of nothing I do not like about the software.
