We have created numerous setups according to traffic sources and triggered those popups while user engagement is high enough to increase our CTRs / fill rates. Pros I was using very popular another solution as I never see Popupsmart before on Google searches before but one of our friend help me to discover them. The UI is very useful and easy to understand. I like that style of popups and the total experience of creating new popups. Also analytics part was great to conduct A/B test in our end. As we are very page-speed obsessed agency, when we migrate solution to our clients, we also measured TTFB of the server and it is great to see that it is very fast solution for not creating any blocker for frontend. Cons It was painful to migrate my previous popup while making onboarding. I wish to have dedicated account specialist can take care of migration of our setup. The popup builder is very easy to use, unlike other tools I've been using in the past. It's straight-forward and you can start with proven templates that don't require too much customization. I didn't run into issues and was happy with how it boosted my website conversions. Definitely worth testing out. Pros This is a straight-forward popup tool that has a lot of different targeting options. You can launch a popup based on pretty much every behavior you can think of. The templates look great and actually convert. I've been able to increase my leads with just about 10 minutes of work on my part. The interface looks great and you can quickly get a campaign up and running without much technical skills. Cons Nothing. It's a solid tool that does what it promises. I don't ask for more. I know there has been updates to the tool frequently so it keeps getting improved based on testing and user feedback. I have suggested we put in a beer cooler in the office so we can handle working with Popup Smart another day. Pros It goes after what we struggle with, email capture. Cons Where do I start? The software is extremely broken. We have found several bugs for them and we feel like we are their QA and product team. The bugs are endless. They have no quality assurance or anyone testing this product. The customers are the testers. Support is offline during US hours and only online during business hours in India.It's shocking to me how popular this software has got with so many bugs. It's non stop. It's so frustrating and they're unthankful. We have helped them SOOOO much. They're ungrateful for paying customers having the patience to point out and comprehensively report bugs. Great enough to take time to convince my marketing department that we should use this service among the others we've tested. We're now currently customers and the clear analytics on the dashboard (as well as in our CRM) show that we made the correct decision. Pros I, personally, like how the design of popups is streamlined, however, the amount of options available for specific application is decent and openly shown. This helps a lot with creative presentations of deals and mini informational popups rather than the usual standard. Cons There are a couple glitches here and there; the dashboard not loading correctly (which has been fixed), pop-up builder crashing from an image upload (which I've been informed is being remedied currently... Whilst not the cheapest by any means the value is reasonable if you have a number of sites to manage., Pros We find this relatively easy to use though occasionally inflexible. Junior staff can pick up the system relatively easily. Designs looks smart and are responsive Cons The use interface is mostly intuitive but at times we can be banging our heads against the desk to work out why something doesn't work. The support can be slow at times, glacial when its busy but over all the experience is better than the previous software we've used for this work. Pros I think it was easy enough to get a basic popup live with the product Cons It's shockingly unstable. It stopped sending leads to our system by webhook from day to another. These leads are critical to our business, and unfortunately we didn't notice the bug until 20 days later. Tried contacting the support in order to get it fixed ASAP, but they have still not yet replied more then 24 hours later. No other option than to move to another service. The problem with Mailchimp is that their embed code was slowing down our website and customization is limited. Since we've started to use Popupsmart, our conversion rate increased around 40% and our website is loading much faster! Pros Popupsmart has great UX for non-developers. The team is very responsive and it has lots of integrations to quickly become our favorite email capturing tool. Cons Nothing really big.
