I must the say the overall ease using Timekeeper is why i will always Rate this software a “5” out of “5” stars . I am not from the generation where using computers was taught from an early age. My introduction to the “tech” world did not even begin until i was preparing to enter in my sophomore year of High school. I was a bit hesitant to use such technology for fear of clicking something i shouldn’t and “breaking “ the computer. I will admit when the owner of our amazing company introduced the new way we would be documenting our time ( i am a paper and pen type of person ) i was quite anxious to use it. However the creators of the timekeeper software did an outstanding job when they designed it. They created something that is straight forward, easy to understand, while not compromising the multitude of functions for those more knowledgeable about “techy “ things. Overall i find Timekeepers to be a GREAT Program, i enjoy using it and will always recommend it to others . Thank you kindly Pros The most important part to myself while using this software is the ability it has to pull up addresses we can choose from as we are manually inputting an address if a location is not already built in to our company specific locations. This saves me, as a daily user so much time during my work day and allows efficiency to be maintained during my day. Cons As much as i find the above to be my favorite aspect of the timekeeper aspect , i find it to also be a frustrating one. I am not sure why or when the following will occur, it appears to be random, but frustrating nonetheless. If an address or a specific account is not already uploaded in to our company specific locations and i need to manually type the address in, at certain times (at least twice a week ) it will NOT pull ANY address and then it will not populate the mileage, despite clicking the refresh button.When this occurs in order to get it to work the way this software was intended to i will need to close the app completely, which then logs me out. I then need to re-open the app, log back in with the hope that by doing this it will correct this glitch. ( sometimes, more often than not doing the latter it DOES correct the issue, however ,on occasion doing this has NOT fixed this glitch for an entire day. Pros I work as an independent contractor and timekeeper was used in order for me to clock in and clock out. I did like that I did not have to enter my punches all at once. It also kept track of all time entered for me. Cons It did not communicate with the platform used for payment, this meant that it took much longer to receive my monthly paycheck.
