Pros Parkable has been instrumental in streamlining the management of our organization's car parks, saving me considerable time and effort. Over the past few years of utilising the system, I have found it to be invaluable in providing me with complete control and visibility over our parking resources. Our staff have embraced the user-friendly nature of the app, enabling them to effortlessly share their allocated spaces, make advance parking reservations, and conveniently open gates with just 1-2 taps. Furthermore, Parkable allows us to optimise the utilization of our parking spaces. When our staff spaces are not fully occupied, we can efficiently make them available to the public, thereby generating revenue to offset lease costs. Overall, Parkable has significantly enhanced our parking management capabilities, providing us with a professional and efficient solution for optimising parking resources. Cons Our parking spaces are situated within a shared car park, cohabited by other businesses and residents, resulting in frequent infringement issues. Upon conveying this feedback, the Parkable team assisted us by implementing an enforcement service. This service involves monitoring and warning individuals who occupy our designated parking spaces unlawfully. Since the introduction of this service, we have witnessed a substantial reduction in issues and complaints, alleviating the need for me to dedicate hours to resolving such matters. April 19, 2023 5.0 I started using Parkable about 8 months ago, and it has been a lifesaver! Both the product and the team are great. Parkable continues to improve the software and add new features, which is fantastic! The future booking feature is our favourite because it aligns with our flexible working policy - staff can book parking in advance and confidently drive into work with a confirmed parking spot! When I need assistance Parkable will go out of there to help me, even at the last minute! Am looking forward to diving in to the recently released bay calendar tool which will make it really easy to make bays unavailable for dates in the future when we have unexpected important visitors. Am confident I will get the same level of support in learning this as I have received since day 1 with parkable. Pros The admin panel is intuitive to use and provides a comprehensive overview of our parking activities and occupancy. Our staff also find the app very easy to use. Everything can be done in just a couple of taps!Staff love that they can better plan their days in the office based on parking availability up to a week ahead. Our team members with allocated parks love that they can set and forget days to share their space up to a year in advance too. It’s handy that as an admin I can also release parks when staff forget to do so, as it ensures no spot ever sits empty! Cons One time, the gate was down due to a fault in the security system our building uses. Parkable stepped in to sort it out so quickly - getting a technician to site, replacing the outdated security system, and getting it up and running again. When I started in this role and took over the management of Parkable, staff engagement was low. The app connects tandem parking buddies to coordinate their leaving times using in-app messaging. This means I don’t need to be a liaison!The bay-sharing feature means that allocated parkers have their space reserved when they need it and can make it available to colleagues when they don't. This has allowed us to maximise the utilisation of our limited parking. I genuinely enjoy working with the Parkable team! I really appreciate that they go the extra mile for their customers. I love that from one place, I can share bays on behalf of the allocated parkers, easily book visitors' parking, and open the gate from my desk. Parkable's tandem parking feature set allows users to be connected with their buddy in-app to coordinate their leaving times and avoid being blocked in!Sometimes our parking stackers need to be taken offline for maintenance. Before employees avoided the office, and we had to use an excel spreadsheet to track parking. Now we can utilise our carpark spaces much better, its easy to plan to park in advance, our employees are happier, and it makes the transition to hybrid work much easier - so employees can book a park and come in when needed. Pros I’m super happy we implemented Parkable. Not only does it vastly improve our staff’s commuting and parking experience, but it also removes manual parking management work! The system makes staff parking self service, automatically resolves problems, and provides me with full visibility of our parking activity! We also use Parkable’s visitor system to schedule the use of our guest parks. It’s really easy to see when the spots are in use and book another visitor around this. Visitors receive an invitation email that includes all the info they need to find our office and their designated spot!One of the things I love the most about Parkable is the team behind it! Changing processes is hard usually but the Parkable implementation process was so smooth because of the onboarding team. The communications templates, training, and support collateral they provided set us up for success! The team has continued to support us as required ongoing too. Cons Before we implemented Parkable I was manually managing staff parking requests and allocated parking spot use schedules. This took up a lot of time and was really complicated! Parkable is great because we can view the occupancy of all our car parks on the same platform. Parkable also provides more access to parking and a good experience for our tenants, which is fantastic. Staff amenities and satisfaction is what we strive to provide for our tenants, and Parkable gives those who don't have a permanent car park the opportunity to park casually at a competitive rate. Pros One of my favourite things about Parkable is the flexibility. I'm able to add parks on the platform when they're not leased by tenants, so that people can use them to park casually. Parkable also gives us full visibility of our parking assets on one platform, which makes management more efficient. With the app, we can collect payments from parking easily, and recoup costs. Cons I can't think of many cons! It would be great to have remittance advice invoicing that goes straight to our accounts team instead of having them be set up as an admin. Whenever I have a question, the Customer Success team is quick to respond. I really appreciate that they proactively alert me to issues they detect and make recommendations for ways we can optimise our configuration. Pros Both the admin panel and the app are easy to use. I check into the admin panel daily and find it really easy to understand what’s going on in our car park and take any actions I need to. Our staff find the app really intuitive. Those with allocated parking spots share their bay on days they're not using it with the tap of a button. Other team members can see the availability of parking in real time and make instant bookings easily. The feature people love the most is the integrated gate access. Staff can click ‘open gate’ in the app to gain access to our secure parking facilities - no more rummaging around for a swipe card or leaning out the car window to enter a code! Cons We have some tandem bays, ie two parking spaces end on end. These present unique problems! Parkable heard my frustrations and built tandem parking features which enable two drivers parked in tandem to communicate with each other, meaning I don’t have to be the middleman anymore! Not only does Parkable maximise parking utilisation but it also makes parking a much better experience - both for administrators and users. People have told me they find the Parkable app really easy to use and that it makes coming to the office more accessible. The future booking feature tells staff if they are confirmed for parking at the office a week in. Pros We've been using Parkable for a few years now, taking the system with us through office & people moves. I joined the company as People & Culture GM just before our second office move. The Parkable team brought me up to speed quickly and led the reconfiguration of our setup without much input from me to improve it at our new place was really appreciated as office moves are a lot.We had to introduce a cost to people or using company parking when we moved as parking is limited in the area and space lease costs are high. The Parkable Customer Success team put together a great programme for communicating the change and explaining the reasons behind it to staff, helped with comms and even fronted for a meet with the team to cover any curly questions. Cons The Parnell area has really limited and expensive parking and we have limited on site parking with our bays split across 3 locations. The allocated bay-sharing features in Parkable ensure we’re always fully utilising our spots and allowing the maximum number of people to come into the office. The maps of each facility help too. Pros \- ease of booking - instructions on how to park - notifications when there is a free spot available - easy to use map with parking locations and clear pricing information - logging in and starting to use it was very easy - I do not use it very often but never find myself lost / not remembering how to use it - reliable - as it is our work app it feels save to use outside of the work as well(storing credit cards, etc.) Cons \-I don't know if it is Parkable or our configuration-related. However, having Parkable has been incredibly helpful! More than 50% of our parking spaces are allocated to individual members, which adds another layer of limitation. The same people continue to be assigned to the permanent casual bays, as they turn on at the same time in the morning everyday for the following day, therefore they know the timing and snap them up before anyone else can. We have been very much looking forward to seeing what Parkable have come up with to resolve this. Pros Parkable is really convenient and easy to use. It means no carpark in our building goes unused for a day. Especially when parking is so incredibly expensive on the street as we are in the middle of the CBD. I can manage peoples bays as admin, if they are on annual leave and forget to release them into the pool, therefore everyone is happy! Cons We recently have received the update where Parkable have added in notifications when bays are released, so people like me (without a carpark) can quickly jump on and snap up the bay for that day! Now with Parkable, myself and my co-workers can easily use the casual or long-term parking options through the Parkable app. I have a weekly subscription which makes it very simple to share my park when I'm not in the office. Plus, I love the fact that if we share our parks we get a discount on next week's subscription fee. Pros Parkable was implemented seamlessly into our new office structure. It makes parking feel much more fair, plus, knowing that you have a car park waiting for you when you get into the office makes the commute actually pleasant. When on a waiting list, sometimes I only get accepted on the day of and charged immediately, despite by that time having not made plans to drive in based on prior non-confirmation.2. When parking is accepted on the day of reservation, charge is immediate upon acceptance, it would be great to be able to cancel your park and be refunded if cancelled within say 5-10 mins. I find it really useful in planning my hybrid work schedule as I know on Friday what days I have a parking spot the following week. I can then decide when I'll need to leave home and that really helps with life admin!The onboarding training from the Parkable team when we started to use the system was really through and made it easy to get started. The notifications make sure I get my requests in time for the following week. It's really easy to use. This has allowed our staff to fully flex when COVID came along no longer do we have the issue of staff paying for there park weekly and not using it , it allowed the staff to only pay for a park when they needed it.
